That was probably the best women's MMA fight I've seen despite being only one round. Doesnt hurt that they're both hot.

Yeah, good fight. Rousey has a great ground game but her strikes looked pretty crappy. I wouldn't be surprised to see her take Kaufman's arm as a trophy as well.

Crazy arm bar by the way. Can't believe I didn't bring that up in my first post. I can't believe she didn't tap sooner. The ref could have stepped in and there wouldn't have been much complaining.

I didn't see it but from what I have been reading, the women fought better than the men.

Not really into chick fights but it was what it was.

Ronda Rousey is a force of nature. I watched her steamroll her competition at the 2008 Olympic Trials in Las Vegas. Don't expect to see her beaten any time soon.

We can only hope. I am not sure that she didn't go in to intentionally break the arm of tate after all the trash talk. I would have liked to see her show some remorse for the damage and maybe some humbleness. She may be the new hot champion, but will she and the other women be more than a freak show in the new gladiator type sport? Congrats to Rousey and hope for a speedy recovery for Tate.

I didn't see it but from what I have been reading, the women fought better than the men. I wouldn't say that they fought better but the fight was more entertaining. I wasn't very entertained by any of the previous fights. Jacare is a joke. There is no reason that fight should have gone past the first round. Scott Smith should be dropped. Noons vs. Thomson was boring as can be. Misaki vs. Daley was the only main card fight other than the ladies that was moderately entertaining. Daley stormed out of the cage like he actually thought he had won that fight. I'm getting really sick of fighters thinking that they can judge a fight after having been in the fight and still full of adrenaline.
