For anyone interested, I was listening to the Coast to Coast AM radio program the other night and there was an expert on the show talking about crystal skulls, some scientifically age-verified as being ancient, and otherwise. They have been used by shamans in the ancient world as divining tools. Then he mentioned one of the most credibly validated ancient skulls and my ears perked up. Check out this link: crystalskulls.com/shanara-crystal-skull.htmlTom, I wish you would respond to this thread to confirm or deny that knowledge of this had anything to do with the creation of the Shann-Ra character.

Love Coast to Coast but I'm going to go out on a limb and say Shann-Ra has more to do with this character: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shanna_the_She-DevilGirl in Jungle..leopard print bikini..not one of Tom's more original creations but she fit well in Thrill of the Chase.

I was listening to Coast -to- Coast and they were talking about Edward Casey and I got some deja vu! (That's an inside joke for those West Coast Warriors who met with Tom a few weeks ago!)

I'm a regualar C2C listener and I noticed the name similarity, too. I would imagine it may be a coincidene and Tom Filsinger just came up with a name reminiscent of a combination of jungle themed comic characters Shanna The She-Devil and Ka-Zar. Toasterboy, not nice to share inside Edgar Cayce jokes if you're not going to fill in the rest of the room. (I never would imagine someone would HAVE an inside Edgar Cayce joke, though. )

Haha...I actually caught some of that as well (up late nerdily typing up results) and the absolute BEST part was that I believe the guy being interviewed was the man who was the subject of the book written by our erstwhile author friend.
How many times do you think he's contacted Tom to publish his next book? 40 times? 50 times?

Another thing on Coast to Coast you hear is the reptilian people coming to Earth. I always thought this sounded alot like Cygnus vs Earth and thought about e-mailing or calling C2C one day and telling the GWF version of the story, seeing if anyone hears and falls for it
...since, while I enjoy listening, I think about 90% of what I hear on C2C is BS

...since, while I enjoy listening, I think about 90% of what I hear on C2C is BS THAT IS THE BEST PART!!! ;D I can't tell you how many watches at night I used to kill by listening to this show. One night...government conspiracies that sound ALMOST believable or at least somewhat logical. Next night....time travelling bigfoot hunters!

Dumb, somewhat-related question: I used to listen to Coast to Coast on the Chicago affiliate, WLS 790AM. Does it have a national station, or is it streaming anywhere online?
