has anyone else seen this movie yet?
if so, what did you think?
IMO, it was really good- not as good as the book, but movie adaptations usually are not s good as the book

I haven't seen it yet, but my co-worker went to it opening night and he said it was really good. So I plan on seeing it sometime!  |

Just rent Running Man. That's where they stole the storyline from and it's probably a lot better.

Seen it twice now. Very good movie, but like usual, the book is way better.

Saw it opening night (that would be at 12:01 a.m. on the Thursday night it opened) with the daughter (and second son who was "dragged along). My daughter INSISTED that we go to the midnight showing...she could not wait until the next afternoon. The movie was good, worth seeing though even if you have not read the books.
Before i read the books and was getting a "synopsis" from my daughter, i came to the conclusion that the story was basically "The Lottery" (the short story not the movie) and Running Man (as Swarm) combined. With those as the premise, you really couldn't miss with the current young generation who aren't introduced to them yet.
