Cool to see the set getting released, but that art for Grizzly Redwood leaves a LOT to be desired. I actually really like the Grizzly Redwood artwork. To each their own I guess. |

Cool to see the set getting released, but that art for Grizzly Redwood leaves a LOT to be desired. Totally disagree... what do you think is wrong with it?? I think it's great. Really captures the idea that Grizzly thinks he's this burly lumberjack character when he's not nearly as big as he thinks he is. It's the reverse Andre the Giant shot where you make him look shorter than he is by focusing the camera down. This card might not work in a Ring of Honor set where he's a plucky underdog babyface. But in Chikara where Grizzly is a snot nosed rudo who thinks too highly of himself, Werner visually painted the personality of this character PERFECTLY. Most importantly, Grizzly LOVES the artwork himself. He has been using it for his facebook cover page for MONTHS now. And I guess his opinion is the one that matters most. |
