Wow what a show! I was thrown a curve with the Cena/Lesnar match. Being there I can say more than a couple of people were nervous for Cena's life. It had that tense shut up and watch vibe to it and I really dug it.
-Cena/Lesnar- Not much more can be said other than what an asswhooping! Holy crap was this some strong style Lesnar and im afraid for the rest of the roster if this is how he is going to wrestle the rest of his matches. Legit beast. I was never a fan of Brock's and I was rooting for Cena because of the story they told. As a grown man in attendance I can say I was afraid for Cena. Im excited for more assbeatings like this one for sure. I usually dont go with the sympathy card but man I was happy that Cena survived and had mixed emotions on winning. Logic says Lesnar should have won but hell I dont even know what I saw on Sunday.
-Punk/Y2J- Im a huge mark for old school come as you are street fights and the only thing this one was missing was cowboy boots! I liked it enough to be my second favorite match behind the main event and thats saying something about the main event. Im from Chicago and its hard for me not to be biased towards Punk matches but damn did Lesner beast mode tonight.
-DB/Sheamus - best technical match of the night. Thats it. This should have been the match they put on at mania. Im not sure if it helped Sheamus at all because the fans still love them some DB. Great match regardless.
The rest of the show was pretty ok but if I can count on 3 great matches a ppv show from WWE these days then I think they are in pretty good shape.
