FloridaAdd the "Tampa Sportatorium" to the list. 106 N Albany Ave, Tampa, FL It's where Championship Wrestling from Florida had their tv tapings. There was seating for ~100 people. My wife's dental practice holds their Christmas party right next door every year. It's so weird b/c I always get excited just b/c we're gonna be next door. No one else at this function even knows how close we are to history lol I might have to swing by and check it out sometime. I checked and it is not too far from an area I travel thru occasionally. In fact, I was over on Dale Mabry on Monday a pair of times and it is only a few minutes away from there. |

Just take Dale Mabry Hwy south to Kennedy Blvd. Make a left on Kennedy and the location will be on your right. Easy & quick trip to see some wrestling history. |

I might have to swing by and check it out sometime. I checked and it is not too far from an area I travel thru occasionally. That sounds about right from when I looked on google maps yesterday but thought it was on the left. Either way I am going to try and head over there the next time I am in that area, and I saw a picture of the place so will know it when I see it. I have seen ROH shows at the RP Funding Center and thought it was cool as the being the place that Woman got her start and also hosted at least one WCW Nitro. |

That sounds about right from when I looked on google maps yesterday but thought it was on the left. Either way I am going to try and head over there the next time I am in that area, and I saw a picture of the place so will know it when I see it. I only got it right because it was fresher in my mind. But now I can take a trip and see a place of wrestling history AND where you and your wife have partied for Christmas lol |
