Some Classic ECW arenas for MASSACHUSETTS


Suffolk Downs - East Boston

(They hold horse races there........they would set up in a wide corridor for ECW.....the wrestlers would be able to hold onto the suspended ceiling for top rope moves....they would actually remove some ceiling tiles so Van Dam and Sabu could work the Turnbuckles)

Wonderland Ballroom -Revere Mass

( I had the "honor" of being present during the infamous MASS TRANSIT INCIDENT which took place in this arena and changed ECW forever.....and truly the most Bizarre night I ever had at an ECW event...and that is saying a lot.......Wonderland by the way was a Dog Racing track)

My dad told me that Big Time Wrestling used to come to my hometown Norwalk, Ohio at the Norwalk Middle School gymnasium and the Huron County Fairgrounds. Both can hold several hundred comfortably. Just throwing that out there in case you want an obscure venue.

Dude, you HAVE to give us some details on what it was like to be there for that one. This is one of many reasons that I can't stand New Jack. There are many sides to the story but I still just can't stand the guy.

For Florida, you could also add 106 N Albany St in Tampa.

It's a small venue but it's where they filmed Championship Wrestling from Florida for the weekly tv show. Plus since it was a small and intimate locale, it became referred to as the "Tampa Sportatorium"
