Are there any cosmic cage match charts other than what is in the handbooks? I think the Cosmic Cage Match can get a lot better if there were charts like...when a wrestler does not make it out of the cage when he attempts it. In cage matches that is usually a turning point in the match. An example would be Star Warrior attempts to crawl over the cage, but Thantos grabs his leg and Star Warrior falls on the top rope.
Also, instead of just assuming that a wrestler gets thrown into the cage on an a roll of "Out of the Ring"...there could be a chart for all kinds of things like getting your face scrubbed in the cage or a reversal into the cage or someone getting the back of their skull slammed in the cage.
Is there anything out there in terms of charts?

Came up with these tonight. Let me know what you think.
Cage Match Table
This table is used during a cage match, in which, a wrestler has unsuccessfully attempted to leave the cage. First, roll one die – EVEN – attempted through cage door; ODD – attempted to crawl over the cage.
Roll on the following charts when an unsuccessful attempt to leave the cage has occurred.
Through Cage Door Table Roll 2 dice. “You” refers to the wrestler who has unsuccessfully attempted to leave the cage.
2 Just as you were about to crawl out of the cage when your opponent grabs your leg. You’re struggling to get free and kick your opponent in the skull freeing you at last. Just as your head gets out of the cage, your opponent’s ally or manager comes to ringside and slams the cage into your skull! Add 1 to your pin rating and your opponent takes over on level 3 Offense.
3-5 You are halfway out of the cage when you opponent gets a hold of you. Some punches are thrown and your opponent gets the advantage. As you are between the buckles and the door, he slams your skull into the cage over and over again. Add 1 to your cage rating and he takes over on Level 3 Offense!
6-9 You are about to crawl out of the cage when your opponent grabs your legs. He pulls you back in and you begin to struggle. Roll 1 die: Odd – he slams you into the cage and he takes over on Level 3 Offense. Even – you slam him face-first into the cage and you go on Level 3 Offense.
10-11 You get halfway out of the door when your opponent grabs your leg. He pulls you in and you get annoyed. You grab him by the back of the neck and slam him into the steel! Blood begins to trickle down his face or opens his gash even more. Add 1 to your opponent’s cage rating and you take over on Level 3 Offense!
12 You are crawling out of the cage when your opponent grabs your legs. You are trying to hold onto the steps and are being dragged into the ring. Doing so, you get a hold of a steel chair by the steps or a manager or ally has handed you a steel chair. You bring it into the ring and smash it into the skull of your opponent. Add 1 to your opponent’s cage rating. Roll again to try and escape!

Over the Top of the Cage Roll 2 dice. “You” refers to the wrestler who has unsuccessfully attempted to escape the cage.
2 As you begin to crawl over the cage and are scaling down the cage to the arena floor, your opponent’s ally or manager comes storming to ringside and blindsides the referee. You hit the floor, but the ref is out! He smashes you with a steel chair and slams you into the cage! He gets you in the cage just as the referee comes too. Add 1 to your cage rating and your opponent takes over on Level 3 Offense.
3 - 4 You are scaling down the outside of the cage and are about to leap to the floor. All of a sudden, a hand comes over the cage or through the bars and grabs your hair or trunks. Your opponent pulls you back over the top of the cage and smashes your skull on the top of the cage! You get pulled back into the ring. Add 1 to your cage rating and your opponent takes over on Level 3 Offense!
5-7 You crawl the top turnbuckle and begin to scale the cage when your opponent comes up from behind and gets on the turnbuckle with you. A struggle takes place as both you and your opponent exchange blows. Roll 1 die: ODD – Your opponent slams your head on the steel and you fall onto the ropes. Opponent takes over on Level 3 Offense. EVEN – You slam your opponent into the cage and he falls to the mat. You take over on Level 3 Offense.
8-9 You are straddling the top of the cage when your opponent meets you there. Both of you exchange blows back and forth. (Roll 1 die: ODD – Your opponent bounces your skull off the top bar of the cage. EVEN – You slam your opponent’s head on the cage.) You both get back onto the canvas. It’s up to you Promoter to decide how! The winner of the exchange takes over on Level 3 Offense!
10-11 You are about to crawl on the backside of the cage when your opponent gets a hold of you. He pulls you back over, but you slam his skull into the cage! Then you execute a devastating move from the top turnbuckle to the canvas below! It’s up to you Promoter to decide how! Add 1 to the opponent’s cage rating and you take over on Level 3 Offense!
12 You get stopped at the top of the cage by your opponent! You both exchange blows and then you get the offensive advantage! Then you execute a deadly move from the top of the cage depending on your style! Agility wrestlers – a moonsault, a splash or a leg drop! Power wrestlers – a powerslam, a chokeslam or another power move! Add 1 to your opponent’s cage rating! Roll again to try and escape the cage!

Cage “Outside the Ring” alternative Instead of having the generic “slam head into cage -3” for the “outside of the ring”, roll on the following chart. Roll 1 die. “You” refers to the offensive wrestler.
1 Opponent is caught between cage and ropes. You slam the back of his skull into cage! Add 1 to his cage rating and you roll on Level 3 Offense.
2 You slingshot your opponent face-first into the cage! Roll on Level 3 Offense.
3 Your opponent is caught between the ropes and the cage. You grab the back of his head and rake his face on the cage! You take over on Level 3 Offense!
4-5 You are going to throw your opponent face-first into the cage! Roll 1 die: Odd – Your opponent reverses your move and slams you into the cage! He takes over on Level 3 Offense! Even – You slam him into the cage! You take over on Level 3 Offense!
6 Depending on your style, you either put your opponent on your shoulder and ram- rod him into the cage or you execute a wicked agility move that slams him into the cage. Add 1 to cage rating and roll on Level 3 Offense!

that's pretty cool. Perhaps LWPD should archive these as well, as they're pretty good!

This is a good subject. The official cage match rules have been in place since the beginning and are very bland for such a "staple" of special matches. Here's a chart I came up with just now to use in place of the official cage match rule of substituting "face into cage-3" when the out of the ring instruction is rolled. It just seems to me that guys with better out of the ring ratings are better brawlers typically and would probably be better in a cage. As it stands, everyone with an "out of the ring" instruction just gets an extra level 3 offense move. I was vague on the instructions about winning the match so it can be used in whichever style of cage match you use (WWF/E escape the cage style or traditional pin). outcome | Rating A | Rating B | Rating C | The opponent grabs your head and takes a running start toward the cage wall. You push him off and his momentum sends him crashing hard face-first into the side of the cage. Go for the win! OPPONENT ROLLS CAGE PIN. | 2-4 | 2-3 | | The opponent tries to whip you into the cage, but you reverse and send him flying into the side of the cage instead. ROLL ON LEVEL 3 OFFENSE. | 5-6 | 4-5 | 2-3 | The opponent tries to rake you face on the cage, but you block and try to counter. Roll one die. EVEN ROLL You rake the opponent's face on the cage. Roll on level 3 offense. ODD ROLL The opponent rakes your face against the steel. Opponent rolls on level 3 offense. | 7-8 | 6-8 | 4 | The opponent whips you into the cage wall and continues his assault. OPPONENT ROLLS ON LEVEL 3 OFFENSE. | 9 | 9 | 5-8 | The opponent runs your head into the cage multiple times and finishes off by savagely raking your eyes agains the steel mesh. ADD 1 TO YOUR CAGE RATING. OPPONENT ROLLS ON LEVEL 3 OFFENSE. | 10-11 | 10 | 9 | The opponent slingshots you into the side of the cage and follows up with one of his big signature moves. ROLL CAGE PIN. If no pin, opponent rolls on level 3 offense. | 12 | 11-12 | 10-12 |
Again, this took me about fifteen minutes to come up with, using the out of the ring chart as a loose template, so it's nothing too revolutionary. I think it could be useful, though.

EDIT: After a wrestler has been thrown into the cage three times, assume he/she/it is bleeding (for the purpose of first blood cage matches or just if you like a way to track that sort of thing). ............................. Anyone else ever top a 15 year old thread? Happened to me. I'm just about to run a cage match and this is the chart I came up with that I've been using for a LONG time. One of the problems I have had for...crap, decades now, is the fact that the cage match is the staple of pro wrestling but the rules in Filsinger Games are so bland and have never gotten a good update. So if anyone else feels that way, this thread has a few good options. Mods, Jim, Todd, whoever....I know it's old, but it's relevant. Don't ban me for this!

Thread necromancy doesn't seem to be a big thing here. I admit the options for more with a cage are nice though for tournaments, it does make things flow faster with the simple rules.
