I was wondering if there are any plans to bring the CHIKARA roster to the online format?

I'd imagine once BDS has online perfected Osk will want to put as much stuff as possible online and Chikara is probably near the top of that list.

I don't know about others but I know I would love to see Chikara guys (and gals) made to fit in with the LOW/LOTF universe as well as the full color ones meant to stand alone. I realize this is probably less likely to happen but a man can dream, right...

Pikemojo have you tried mixing them up? Most people seem to think they work really well together. I've run King of trios mixing and matching both and it was awesome.

I have and I think they work great in a Chikara fed. If you bring in a bigger name from LOW to compete against a bigger name in Chikara they perform well against each other and have a competitive match. So lets say Tiger Mask came to Chikara and wrestled Mike Quackenbush, they would have a very competitive match in Chikara. In LOW though Quack would not fair very well as he has no where near the legacy that Tiger Mask has. Now, we obviously already have a Mike Quackenbush card but there are many others where that is not the case. Does that make sense?
I love the Chikara cards. I think you have done a great job with the stats and Werner has done a great job with the artwork. I just see so many guys I would want to have in my LOW/LOTF feds as well. My goal is to run Chikara and LOW/LOTF as 2 separate worlds.
Did I explain my point well enough? Sometimes it is hard to word things correctly when not speaking in person.

Pikemojo, I apologize in advance for taking things off course for a second. I had Tiger Mask and Quackenbush (LOTF version) wrestle a couple of matches mainly because I thought it would be a fun match up. Well, I was wrong, it was AMAZING. There first match up was 5 star with tons of near falls and lots of back and forth. It felt like a real match between the two. The following matches were also very good, but never equated to the first match up. I haven't used the Chikara version of Quackenbush, but I should give it a try and see how things shake out. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I'd just say you never know what Tom and FG has planned next. I can think of all kinds of LOTF cards who could use a color makeover. edit: and since this is an online thread, I'd imagine any fresh new color cards that come out in 2012 and beyond will one day also be available for COTGonline.

Pikemojo have you tried mixing them up? Most people seem to think they work really well together. I've run King of trios mixing and matching both and it was awesome. You know, there are several lower level LOW guys who are still active but older and past their prime which would justify their stats being where they should be in a chikara special appearance. I was thinking of using David Taylor as part of Team Uppercut (with Claudio and Danielson) and Finlay and Nigel with Johnny Saint as Team UK. I think those guys are right where I'd want them in a 2012 chikara ring. LOTF guys are a different story, but when we get the new 5-pack, I plan on re-playing the High Noon ippv in my own alternate reality, and I really don't want the Young Bucks going over the Colony anyway.

Bumping this thread/question for 2 reasons - 1) It came up again this past week, when it has already been answered. This is a reminder to always please look first in the QUESTION ARENA anytime you are about to as a question (it may have already been answered ) and 2, when you do have a FG business related question (like Will CHIKARA ever go online?), again, PLEASE use this area of the board. It is why it's here. At first, we were happy to move questions here as promoters got used to the new format. It has been several months now, so everyone should be accustomed to the new ways of asking business related FG questions. Moving forward, any FG related questions (like this one) posted anywhere on the board other than here in the ? arena will be deleted. We have taken some nice steps forward in keeping the board clean and easy to follow, and expect everyone to help keep it this way. Thanks in advance Guardian
