Well Generico was separate from the main game. It's not like I'm saying Cole can never be in the CZW......we're going to get Bryan Danielson ROH as well as Claudio and Chris Hero at some point. It's not a question of if, but when. But it's 12 cards......why do a double so quickly? Put him out later in a smaller set. Cabana's been a big part of NWA Hollywood but he's not in their initial 12 pack. Cole would be in the same boat. Isn't Cabana getting a special edition NWA chamion card right when the NWA Hollywood set gets released?

I think my point remains.....Cabana has three cards within the past year. Why can't Adam Cole have two?

Adam Cole earned a ton of respect from me after last weekend's performance. BUT, he's not an established indy star like Colt.....yet. If he's an option for the game, he will almost definitely show up in the first ROH set. There are a LOT of CZW guys who would deserve one of those 12 slots. I would personally prefer 12 original cards to fill out the first edition; mainstays who would never be included in anything outside of CZW. Then, if possible, they can explore crossover options like Cole or Chuck Taylor.
Actually, from a marketing standpoint, it would make little sense to do separate versions so soon. Say a CZW fan learns about the game, buys the 12 CZW cards, likes it, and wants Adam Cole. HEY, there he is in the ROH set. Where's Taylor? He's in Chikara. So the dude wants to fill out the roster, and ---boom--two more game sales.
Fans of that group are happy with the 12 they get, Filsinger fans are happy because they get 48 unique wrestlers from CWZ, NWA Hollywood, and ROH. Wins all around.

I see Chewey's point, but this is exactly how I see it.

Doing the sets with the federations themselves is different than a standard LOW or LOTF set. In those sets there wouldn't be a need for different versions of the same guy unless it was a different gimmick (ie Million Dollar Man vs. Black Glove DiBiase). With doing sets for the feds Filsinger Games is getting input from the promoters themselves on who they want to have in the set and its up to Tom and the creative teams to do what is in the best interest of the promoter and their fan base.
In the case of Adam Cole, he was trained by DJ Hyde and CZW so he is very much a part of that fed. Although Cole is a huge part of ROH now as well. It would make sense if he was to be in both sets.
Speaking of Cole, he was the guest on Colt Cabana's AOW podcast this week, a great listen.

Two BIG points, TM:
FIRST, you put a heavy spoiler in your reply. Anyone who doesn't read TV taping results in advance and reads that will be MAD at you.
Second, I want the most "bang for the buck", so to speak. Give us 48 different wrestlers amongst the three sets (Hollywood, ROH, and CZW) or else I consider it a bit of a letdown. Cole should be in one or the other, not both.
And yes, the AOW with Cole was pretty much a "must listen". Then again, so are most episodes of AOW.

I can deal with a few dupes in these fed sets as long as we have the majority being new to FG. Of course I wouldn't want a set full dupes either.

Cole should be in one or the other, not both. If it were STRICTLY up to FG, that'd likely be the case. But it isn't. These sets are partnership deals. And they're targeted at both collectors of LOW and the fans of the fed we're working with. Partners of FG (who are cool enough and kind enough to agree to work with us in the first place) have a very prominent role in determining the rosters. As they should. It's their fed. Their roster. They're just allowing us to make a kick-ass game out of it. ;D
