Movies and 2 and 3 really can't be switched. It was the 2nd movies ending that changed the perception of Batman going into the third movie.

I mean, sure, but its not as if Batman: friend or foe? would be breaking new ground. Pretty much every Batman story is about how he is perceived.

I will also save you a few minutes and tell you that you don't need to sit through the closing credits because in this final part of an awesome trilogy there is no extra scene. Good review and thanks for this time saving tip Mr. V! I was coaxed into seeing this yesterday, and I'm glad I was, a solid film! As someone who doesn't follow comic books and didn't see the first two installments, the time flew right by. They must have shot those scenes in the Financial District on the weekends. I saw the film with others who also live and work in the vicinity. From this perspective, there's a strange vibe that comes off from the terrorism plot point. These are areas that we see everyday, they have been targets in the past, and this area of New York will continue to be a substantial target going forward. Some form of nuclear/dirty bomb attack is one of the biggest public concerns. As a consequence of 9/11, the NYPD now has a Hercules Unit with elite level police wearing armor-plated vests, carrying 9-mm. sub machine guns and cutting edge surveillance equipment. They patrol the streets, subways, seaports, etc. Real life Batmen, no superpowers, just technology and heroism in the face of adversity. Good stuff all around!

I came home last night unhappy about the movie. I say this as a Batman fan who is familiar with his stories and Rogues Gallery. It had its potential to be very good. They needed more Anne Hathaway. Bane was very good too, but I hated the payoff. And they laid it out so that anyone who follows Batman in the comics or cartoons got tipped off to the big reveal/heel turn like a half an hour early.
But some short reviews of other critics shows that it seems most casual moviegoers and critics enjoyed it. But keep standards on the lower side especially if you're a big Batman fan.

i saw it last night. Major problem for the movie is that it follows a truly great movie. I kind of feel following that they should have gone smaller scale..make catwoman the focus. i know people that follow the comics might be disappointed at some things. i feel that way in the Spiderman films. I did like the notion in the last two films that Bruce Wayne didn't need to be Batman forever. It's kind of sad to me thinking of him going out there at 50 or 60. Also, the villains basic plot was sort of a rehash of Batman Begins. Destroy Gotham. On the plus side..this film is what movies are all about. You have to see this in a theater. I saw it on IMAX...and with that Hans Zimmer music blaring it's just unreal. I mean when you see Batman for the first time and that music starts....

Spoiler Alert:
I have to admit, when the Commish lit the road flare to light up the bat sign; I got chills.

I saw it tonight, and I thought it was good, and a fitting end to the triolgy. The Dark Knight was much better, and I feel they could have explored Cat Woman more but with Bane being the main bad guy what was the point. I will be going to see it again sometime soon though because there is always stuff you see the second time that you may have missed the first.

Saw it yesterday & have to admit, I was glad I convinced myself there was no way they could top The Dark Knight & not to nbe disappointed if they didn't. Well, they didn't. Because they couldn't. Don't get me wrong, it was still a great film, with an incredible final 15-20 minutes, but I thought Bane was lacking as the main villain. But again, there was no chance of outdoing Heath Ledger in the previous film. What I really found disturbing was the lack of chemistry between Bane & Batman. What I thought made the Dark Knight the greatest comic book film of all-time was the interplay between Bale & Ledger. The dynamic was sorely missing between Bale & Hardy. Plus, I know this is nit picking, but I think they could have done alot more with that mask Bane wears! Maybe it's my wrestling fandom that makes me think he looked alot cooler in the comics, fully masked! All I kept thinking of was when Luke unmasked Vader at the end of Jedi! That being said, this was still a great, if not awesome movie & Batman fans will not be disappointed. I also thought Anne Hathaway made a damn fine Catwoman & Joseph Gordon-Levitt was a welcome addition to the franchise.

Saw it his afternoon . Batman (with Catwoman's help) v modern day terrorism . Is terrorism in today's world , entertainment ? . For me personally it was way too much far feteched in most parts . the main baddie reminded me of Konnan/Max in a million Moon character ? . Average a big let down ? . 5/10
