No spoilers about 2123 here, just a prediction: Patch is going to surprise some people in 2123. I wasn't too excited about him until I took a look at his card. Then I was a little more interested. Then I actually rolled a match with him last night. This guy has one of the oddest, coolest styles I've seen in a while. The moveset mixes brawling with wrestling and more agility than you'd expect from a big man.

By the way, for those who have 2123, what do you imagine Patch wears for ring gear? For some reason, going along with that funky yellow shirt/coat in the drawing, I think this guy has got a twisted fashion sense to go with his twisted mindset. I see him wearing purple, pinstriped slacks and brown, croc-skin zipper ankle boots. A sort of retro, 70s blacksploitation film type get-up. Maybe wearing a chain with a big medallion for entrance gear. There's just no way this guy is wearing tights and wrestling boots. And jeans and a t-shirt or jersey would be ridiculously boring.

Anyway, this guy's going to be a darkhorse title contender in 2123 and I hope he sticks around for a long time to come.

Yeah, but more like a late 70s-early 80s Power Man. That'd be more fun (to me, anyway).

He's quite fun (I've picked him up just for background alone for a fantasy fed) and while he's not going to be Hwt title, he'll definitely be up for an IP title run I have a feeling.

And yeah, his style is awesome. I'd love to see an extended feud with Payback at some point. They would blow the roof off.

From my 2123 review:

PATCH (****) Great concept, story, and fit with the Outlaw Nation. Having the character be the only true "natural athlete" in the group gives him a unique niche and story to build on in the future. I could see him coming to terms with his eye, and maturing into a fantastic heel wrestler, ala his planet-mate Morpheus.
