haha did you really think there'd be less wasting of time payback? Well I was hoping we'd get a little more in ring action. Not tons. ;D I knew that would be a pipe dream.

i didn't even care much for the Miz-Christian match. If you're going to switch the champion....and you're claiming the I-C title has come back stronger...why do it in a throw away style?

It must be nice to be Rock; wrestling for the first time in 10+ years, returning for 1 match, then returning a few months later to get a shot at the WWE Title months later, all after wrestling 1 match in over a decade. The first time in 10+ years? WrestleMania wasn't even his first time in 10 months. Let's go back 10 years and this is just off the top of my head... Royal Rumble 2002: Jericho beat Rock No Way Out 2002: Rock beat Undertaker WrestleMania X8 (2002): Rock beat Hogan Vengeance 2002: Rock beat Angle and Taker Global Warning (2002 DVD): Rock beat Lesnar and Triple H SummerSlam 2002: Lesnar beat Rock No Way Out 2003: Rock beat Hogan RAW in 2003: Rock faced Hurricane and Jeff Hardy, among others.. WrestleMania XIX (2003): Rock beat Austin Backlash 2003: Goldberg beat Rock WrestleMania XX (2004): Orton, Flair and Batista beat Rock and Foley Survivor Series 2011: The Rock and John Cena beat The Miz and R-Truth WrestleMania XXVIII (2012): The Rock beat John Cena Yeah, he's totally only wrestled one match in a decade. Okay I stand corrected. 7 years. He still doesn't deserve a title shot, especially when you have a roster of guys busting their rears for that spot.

Not a terrible show but it was lacking something. I really enjoyed the return of Lita and her hitting a picture perfect moonsault on Heath "I'm the One Man Band, Baby!" Slater and I thought Daniel Bryan was awesome in every segment. The seeming turn of CM Punk was done well so I look forward to the follow up. Triple H getting the upper hand on Brock Lesnar was ok as it is a good way to build heat for SummerSlam. Brock got him last time so this time it was Triple H getting the advantage. I don't see any problem with that.

Guess I am in the minority, but I loved the show last night. About the only point I wasnt crazy about was the way they revealed AJ as the General manager.
The opening video on the history of Raw was fantastic. All the big moments were touched on and another fantastic job of editing. The video guys keep making stuff better and better.
I enjoyed some of the funny call backs to Raws of old, and was on the floor when Mae Young's hand son showed up.
The DX segment was good, but gotta agree that Shawn Michaels dragging it down.
I like the setup for Punk vs. Rock at the Rumble, and thought the Rock was used well all night.
The Charlie Sheen stuff was alright, could have been worse. Not sure what his involvement with Summerslam will be. I will admit that I am biased in having his show Anger management doing well, so maybe I am more forgiving there.
Good use of the legends, but my favorite was Sean Mooney. Totally didnt expect him.
Glad Miz won the IC belt. Christian wasnt doing anything for the title, so mind as well let the Miz run with it.
Tonights show was bound to have lots of talking segments, so I thought the amount of wrestling was what I expected. Next week I'm sure we will get more wrestling.
Glad I watch Raw on DVR, as 3 hours is too long to watch the whole way. I miss out on live tweeting and stuff, but its a small price to pay.

Enjoyed the "memory lane" moments of the show, including DUDE LOVE...had me laughing. Can't help but to see a Punk loss to Rock (winning title) at the Rumble, then a Rock loss (lose title, pass torch) at Wrestlemania to Cena. Guess that is just the circle of life, Simba!

Guess I am in the minority, but I loved the show last night. Loved it here too. Agree with most everything you've already said except I look forward to AJ as GM. I thought that was great and not expected. I'm thinking this crazy chick will come up with some interesting matches and ideas as GM. Only segment I walked away from to do other stuff was HHH/Heyman. Then I heard Steph coming out and I started watching again just b/c it was great to see her on TV again. Man, she looks better than ever too!

I wish the build up to Triple H/Lensar match was a lot better than what we have seen so far. I want to see this build as two equal behemoths going out it to make it the EVENT at Summerslam that is must see.
