AWESOME show (minus the super predictable main event ending, and ANOTHER DQ. C'mon guys) but rest of the show was great. TONS of great wrestling tonight, and Daniel Bryan is being rocketed into another level. He really reminds me of Kurt Angle in his prime right now. Loved all his skits tonight. Don't even mind that he'll probably job to Charlie Sheen. The fact that they picked him to be the guy says they are in it for the long haul for him. I expect DB to be WWE champ one day.

If RAW 1001 is any indication of what is to come, I'm happy.

LOVED Punk is the opening segment. He said everyhting I said after last weeks show. Made me feel like someone at WWE reads this board.

Absolutely loved how he called out Lawler about the "turning his back on the WWE Universe" crap. Thank you! Makes me feel like they are still writing for intelligent people and not just kids.

ADR over Santino was a great match. (Santino needs to drop that belt). Christian/Jericho vs. Ziggler/Miz was great. Jericho looked the best he has in a long time. Loved how the crowd reacted to him. He is a true legend. Damian Sandow beating up Brodus, sparking a new feud between two new guys I really like. More awesomeness.

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan continued the trend of QUALITY wrestling. At this point in the show, I was shockec by how much wrestling I was actually watching.

Kofi vs. Titus was a nice little match keeping the tag title story going.

Slater continues to make me LOL and Orton looked good in his return. I'm a big Orton fan, so I'm happy he is back. I do wish he would turn heel tho.

Tensai continued (won?) his feud with Tyson Kidd. I'm liking Tensai more and more. They should just call him Albert tho. I think he is going in that direction. I think his manager will finally stand up to him and when they part ways, I think he'll go back to being Albert. I really like him in this "kane" type of roll.

So many good matches I wasn't even annoyed by the social media crap. Instead I just used those moments to go into the kitchen and grab some bites.

Had fun. Great show. Hope next week we get more of the same.

I thought the Bryan--Sheamus match was AWESOME, Can't believe that wasn't a PPV match. I'm just glad they didn't put Bryan in a straight jacket afterward. (geez do we really have to have Charlie Sheen mixed up with WWE. )
As for Punk, i just hope they play him as a tweener, and not some sneaky jerk.
3 hours is still too much for me to watch any show week in and week out.

After last week's Smackdown, I hope Santino drops the belt to Claudio/Antonio.

I also enjoyed Punk's opening promo, especially as he sat on the table glaring at Lawler while talking to him.

AJ Lee has just beome Stephanie. What does Vince see in A.J ? I believe he think shes the new Elizabeth ? .

Raw 1001 was way better than Raw 1000. All of the matches were pretty good and that's always a positive thing. I had the main event pegged from the start but that's ok sometimes. Since we just had Punk-Cena last summer and Punk had big feud w/Show when he was leading the SES, I figured we'd see a Triple Threat Match. Fine with me as I usually enjoy those matches.

Punk's opening promo was great. He's FINALLY got his edge back that he had at last year's MITB.

I've gotta disagree with my boy bazzy. I don't see AJ as the "new Stephanie" and she's absolutely nothing like Miss Elizabeth. She has been one of the more interesting characters they've had in awhile. I like her in GM role, it gives her a new layer to develop her character.

Can't worry too much about the social media crap. I hate it, too, but it's here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future.

All of the segments with Daniel Bryan were awesome! I was laughing when he kept yelling "YES" at the doctor in the back. His match with Sheamus was another bright spot on the show and these 2 guys really have good chemistry in the ring. I really hope Bryan wins the WWE title someday soon.

The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was Santino. He's the U.S. Champ and all he does is job, unless he's in a tag match. Hopefully Claudio wins the belt from him soon.

I really liked this episode. I agree with Swarm on most accounts (how often do I get to say that ?) Even the recaps didn't really get to me. My only complaint is that I really wasn't interested in Big Show/Cena, since it is a match I feel like we see a lot.

Anyone else getting a Kurt Angle in his prime vibe from Bryan? Really great comedy and unreal matches.
