RoV King of Victory promo: The promo opened with Delirious winning last year's tournament and mentioned that the King of Victory tournament winner would receive a shot at the Ring of Victory Grand Championship two weeks after the final. List of King of Victory qualifying matches: - mystery wrester vs. Chuck Taylor
- Claudio Castagnoli vs. Tyler Black
- Brent Albright vs. Mike Quackenbush
- The Sandman vs. Jimmy Jacobs
- Delirious vs. Ultramantis Black
- Erick Stevens vs. Arik Cannon

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 86: The show opened with Chuck Taylor in the ring, awaiting his opponent in a King of Victory qualifying match. The curtain parted and out came Ricky Landell! Ricky Landell has returned to Ring of Victory!
Ricky Landell vs. Chuck Taylor - King of Victory qualifying match: Ricky Landell was relentless in his assault of Chuck Taylor. Taylor mounted almost zero offense. Landell got a decisive win with the Top Rope Fist Drop.
Drake Younger Interview: Younger got on the mic and demanded to know why he wasn't in the King of Victory tournament. He said from now on, Ring of Victory can defend its own honor.
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Tyler Black - King of Victory qualifying match: Castagnoli and Black fought tooth and nail. Announcers noted that this was the first time the two have wrestled in a singles match since Black entered RoV. The two were evenly matched and fought a back and forth match that saw the crowd on their feet for most of it. Castagnoli scored near falls with the scissor kick and the waterslide. The match spilled outside and Black was disqualified when Jacobs hit Castagnoli with the railroad spike. The Age of the Fall double teamed Castagnoli until the Sandman made the save.
Brent Albright vs. Mike Quackenbush - King of Victory qualifying match: Larry Sweeney was jawing with Albright after the bell, allowing Quackenbush to score a near fall with a schoolboy. Albright punished Quackenbush with suplexes but Quack wouldn't stay down. He hit the Quackendriver for a two count. Albright went to the top but Quack threw him to the mat before hitting the tilt a whirl backbreaker for the surprise win.
After the match, Sweeney argued with the referee about the speed of his count. The referee tried to leave but Sweeney stepped into his way and kept arguing. Finally, the referee ejected Sweeney from the building for the rest of the night! Adam Pearce will be managerless for his match with RoV Grand Champion Rick Rude tonight!
The Sandman vs. Jimmy Jacobs - King of Victory qualifying match: Jacobs and the Sandman attacked each other like wild dogs. Jacobs pulled out every dirty trick in the book and wore the Sandman down. Jacobs clamped on The End Time and the Sandman had no choice but to tap out.
Ring of Victory Tag Team champions the Backseat Boys vs. The Young Bucks: The Backseat Boys attacked the challengers before the bell. Kashmere and Acid controlled the majority of the match. Afte rwearing down Matt with the T-Gimmick, Trent Acid put the Young Buck away with the Acid Bomb.
Ring of Victory Grand Champion Rick Rude vs. Adam Pearce: Pearce fought hard but Rick Rude overwhelmed him with superior ability and agression. Rude quickly put Pearce away with the Rude Awakening.
As the show went off the air, it was announced that next week Drake Younger & Necro Butcher will meet in the first ever barbed wire tables match. The winner will receive a shot at the Ring of Victory Grand Championship!

I was thinking of having Bagwell and Patriot III team up as well. I was gonna go over the top patriotic with them...always can use a white meat babyface team to feed to the heels.

I'll probably end up teaming Patriot and Duggan at some point. Bagwell's just too obnoxious for me to use as a face.

I'll probably end up teaming Patriot and Duggan at some point. Bagwell's just too obnoxious for me to use as a face. I was thinking back to the days of when Buff was Marcus Alexander Bagwell! He teamed with The Patriot (Del Wilkes) in WCW.

That's what originally made me team them. Then I imagined how NWO Bagwell would treat the less experienced Patriot III.

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 87: Ted DiBiase was seen sitting in the front row as the show went live.
Delirious vs. Ultramantis Black - King of Victory qualifier: Delirious, last year's King of Victory winner, made short work of Ultramantis, wearing him down with the Cobra before getting the win with the Shadows over Hell.
After the match, Ultramantis invited Delirious to join the Neo Solar Temple. Delirious responded with a stream of gibberish and left through the crowd.
Erick Stevens vs. Arik Cannon - King of Victory qualifier: Cannon unloaded on Stevens but couldn't keep him down for long. The end came out of nowhere when Stevens rolled through Cannon's crossbody for the quick three count. Stevens advances to the King of Victory tournament!
Chris Hero vs. Eddie Kingston - King of Victory qualifier: These two rivals fought tooth and nail but Hero couldn't keep Kingston down. Kingston got the win after a yakuza Kick in the corner.
After the match, Ted DiBiase stood up and motioned Kingston to come over. DiBiase congratulated Kingston before flattening him with the Loaded Glove! Kingston went down and security mobbed DiBiase.
Brodie Lee stood in the ring and called out his mystery opponent, saying it didn't matter who it was. Out came the King of Old School, Steve Corino!
Steve Corino vs. Brodie Lee - King of Victory qualifier: Corino manhandled Lee early on, busting him open with a foreign object and scoring a near fall with the Victory Suplex. Lee bounced back and repeatedly hit Corino with his favorite move, the Big Boot to the Face! After nearly kicking Corino's head off, Lee got the win and advances to the King of Victory tournament.
Bryan Danielson vs. Belgian Brawler: Brawler attacked Danielson before the bell and unloaded his arsenal on the newcomer. Danielson bounced back and quickly put Brawler away with a Missile Dropkick.
Drake Younger vs. Necro Butcher - Barbed Wire Tables Match: Younger and Butcher rendered each other bloody messes within minutes, thanks to the barbed wire wrapped around the tables at ringside. Younger hit Drake's Landing but couldn't follow it up. Butcher hit the Tiger Driver and the Asiatic Spike, wearing Younger down. Butcher got the win after giving Younger a Tiger Driver off the apron and through one of the tables. Butcher will face Rick Rude for the RoV Grand Championship next week!

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 88 preview: - Bryan Danielson made his triumphant debut last week. Can he repeat his performance this week against another RoV newcomer, Crossbones?
- Claudio Castagnoli demanded Jimmy Jacobs in the first round of the King of Victory tournament and he gets him this week! Can Claudio defeat Jacobs and possibly go on to win the King of Victory tournament?
- Last week, Necro Butcher had the match of his career against arch rival Drake Younger. This week, he gets a shot at the Ring of Victory Grand Champion, Rick Rude. Can Butcher repeat his performance and capture the RoV gold or will Rude continue his dominating ways?
All of this and more, including the remaining three King of Victory opening round matches!
