I'll neither confirm nor deny that will be important to remember later... The show opens with Frank Gotch in the ring, promising the fans he'll be the first ever Ring of Victory Grand Champion and challenging the other fifteen wrestlers in the title tournament to prove him wrong. He took a seat in the front row to watch the action. In the first match of the RoV Grand Championship tournament, Arik Cannon fought back after two top rope elbows to get the win over J.D. Michaels via a cross body block. Drake Younger was spotted in the lockerroom talking to Necro Butcher. He said he didn't like Butcher but respected him and asked him to watch his back. Butcher agreed, but with the condition that he would get a RoV Grand Championship title shot if Younger won. Younger agreed and the two shook hands reluctantly.
The Kings of Wresling beat Steve Corino & Ricky Landell by DQ after Corino slammed Hero on the concrete floor. The issue is far from settled between these two teams.

In the main event, Frank Gotch (with J.D. Michaels) made Drake Younger (with Necro Butcher) tap out to the Gotch Toe Hold to win the RoV Grand Championship, but not without controversy. At one point during the match, Gotch tossed Younger out of the ring, only to be distracted by Eddie Fyne. While the ref and Necro Butcher were dealing with Eddie Fyne, Ox Baker jumped the rail and hit Younger with the heart punch and rolled him back into the ring, seemingly without Gotch or the referee being aware.
After the match, Gotch celebrated in the ring with J.D. Michaels as the referee handed him the RoV Grand Championship belt. Gotch took the mic and invited his friends into the ring to celebrate with him. Ox Baker, Eddie Fyne, and April Hunter entered the ring to a chorus of boos. Gotch said he promised the fans he'd win the title and he did. He said any wrestler that had a problem with it should talk to his agent. The show went off the air with Gotch laughing in the center of the ring as the crowd pelted him with trash.
