Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 25 The Naptown Dragons beat the Heartbreak Express (with Diamond Dallas Page) after the Kiss of the Dragon on Sean. The match was rife with illegal tactics by DDP and the Express. In the closing minutes, Drake Younger came from the back and busted a light tube over DDP's head, taking him out of the match and allowing the Dragons to get the win. Arik Cannon beat Adam Pearce with a brutal Burning Hammer. Frank Gotch announced that he would be facing Ivan Koloff with the RoV Grand Championship on the line in two weeks. He followed up the announcement by telling the RoV fans that he wasn't the champion they wanted but he was the one they needed. Drake Younger beat Sam Hayne with Drake's Landing after breaking three light tubes over his head. After the match, Diamond Dallas Page attacked Drake from behind and gave him the Diamond Cutter to a chorus of boos. In a special challenge mach, J.D. Michaels came within an eyelash of defeating Ivan Koloff but submitted to the Russian Bear Hug. Necro Butcher beat Timber in a short Falls Count Anywhere match after a brutal beatdown in the corner. In the main event, the Kings of Wrestling lost to Thunder & Lightning by DQ after Claudio broke up a pin and gave Quackenbush the Ricola Bomb! Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 26 Steve Corino & Ricky Landell lost to the Dream Team after a Jumping Knee Smash on Landell. The Dream Team continues to impress. Adam Pearce made short work of Timber, winning with the Jumping Piledriver. Frank Gotch and Ox Baker were seen strategizing in the back. Gotch told Baker to put down Koloff with the Heart Punch. Arik Cannon put Necro Butcher away with two Glimmering Warlocks. Ox Baker beat Ivan Koloff by DQ in the hardest-hitting match the RoV has seen yet. Koloff was disqualified by hitting Ox with the Russian Chain. Drake Younger beat Diamond Dallas Page with two Drake's Landings. After the match, DDP and the Heartbreakers beat down Younger until the Naptown Dragons made the save. In the main event, the Kings of Wrestling beat Thunder & Lightning in a Texas Death match after Quackenbush missed a leap from the top. Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 27 Tom Prichard & Chris Candido lost to the Samoan Island Tribe by DQ to open the show. Prichard & Candido have lost all of their matches by DQ thus far. Steve Corino announced that he and Ricky Landell would be wrestling in singles competition for a while. Corino went on to defeat J.D. Michaels with the Old School Expulsion. Ricky Landell lost to Ox Baker after a brutal clothesline. In a match that saw interference by both partners, Claudio Castagnoli beat Mike Quackenbush with the Ricola Bomb. Castagnoli and Quackenbush were escorted from the ring area before the next match began. Chris Hero beat Jushin Liger with a Moonsault in a short match. In a six man tag, the Naptown Dragons and Drake Younger lost to Diamond Dallas Page and the Heartbreak Express by disqualification when Lee attacked Diamond Dallas Page when Page had Younger pinned following the Diamond Cutter. In the main event, RoV Grand Champion Frank Gotch beat Ivan Koloff with the grinding hammerlock to retain the title. Gotch was in trouble in the open minutes, busted open with the Russian Chain and pummeled from pillar to post, but rebounded and wore the Russian down with the rolling knee bar and the Gotch Toe Hold. next week: - Steve Corino takes on Ox Baker

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 28 Tom Prichard & Chris Candido beat Sam Hayne & Harker Dirge after Hayne was caught using Hell's Flames on Candido. Prichard & Candido have yet to be involved in a match with a clean finish. Rick Landell beat Savage T with a Fisherman's Buster after bouncing back from a Vertebreaker. A bloody Steve Corino beat Ox Baker by DQ after Baker slammed him into the guardrail on the outside. Claudio Castagnoli beat Jushin Liger with a Ricola Bomb in a quick match. Chris Hero lost to Mike Quackenbush after a Quackendriver III in a heated match between the two archrivals. In the main event, Drake Younger lost a chain match to Diamond Dallas Page after Page hit him with a Diamond Cutter out of nowhere. next week: - Ricky Landell takes on Larry Sweeney

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 29 The show opened with Tom Prichard & Chris Candido getting their first clean finish, a win over Sam Hayne & Harker Dirge in a Texas Death Match after a Blonde Bomb on Hayne. Adam Pearce lost to Danny Doring after a Panty Drop Elbow. Pearce was incensed after the loss. Arik Cannon lost to Diamond Dallas Page after Page reversed a brainbuster into a Diamond Cutter. After the match, Drake Younger attacked Page with a light tube. Cannon, resenting the interference, attacked Drake from behind before hitting him with the Glimmering Warlock. Ricky Landell beat Larry Sweeney with a Missile Dropkick in a surprisingly good match. Steve Corino beat Ox Baker in a bloody Texas Death match with the Old School Expulsion. After the match, Corino challened Frank Gotch to a RoV Grand Championship match next week. In the main event, RoV Tag Team champions the Kings of Wrestling beat Thunder & Lightning when Hero hit a moonsault on Liger to retain the titles. Thunder & Lightning will likely not receive another title shot while The Kings of Wrestling are tag team champions. RoV Officials announced that Frank Gotch had accepted Steve Corino's challenge as the show went off the air. next week: - Someone makes a controversial return to Ring of Victory

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 30 The show opened with Strangler Lewis in the ring in street clothes. He said he was back in RoV and had his eyes on the RoV Grand Championship. Lewis took his AWF Contract from his pocket and set it on fire with a cigarette lighter. As he began to leave the ring, the Sandman came out of the crowd and attacked him. Lewis and Sandman brawled for a few minutes before security arrived. Tom Prichard & Chris Candido lost to the Naptown Dragons after a Double Dragon on Candido. Officials announed that Strangler Lewis and the Sandman would be meeting in the ring later tonight! Adam Pearce obtained a measure of revenge and handily defeated Danny Doring. Jushin Liger squashed Larry Sweeney. Sweeney mounted no offense and was pinned following a Brainbuster. In a special grudge match, Strangler Lewis beat the Sandman with the Strangler's Headlock. Lewis throughly outclassed the Sandman during the bout. Arik Cannon won a brutal match against Drake Younger. Younger wouldn't stay down but was finally pinned after the fourth Glimmering Warlock. After the match, Diamond Dallas Page entered the ring to congratuate Cannon, only to hit him with the Diamond Cutter. Page then dragged Younger to his feet and Diamond Cuttered him as well before leaving the ring. In the main event, RoV Grand Champion a bloody Frank Gotch forced Steve Corino to tap out to the Gotch Toe Hold to retain the title. Corino busted Gotch open early on but couldn't withstand Gotch's concentrated attacks on his legs. After the match, Ox Baker raised Gotch's hand in the air before drilling him with a Heart Punch! The show went off the air with Ox Baker laughing as Gotch was on one knee in the ring looking shocked. next week: - A battle of the masked men as Jushin Liger takes on Delirious

LOL! The attack wasn't heinous enough for the big red X to be employed but maybe I'll have to work that in someplace.
