Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 18 The Dream Team defeated the Heartbreak Express (With Diamond Dallas Page) by DQ after Valentine was hit with a foreign object to open the show. Frank Gotch got on the mic and offered Adam Pearce the same deal as Quackenbush. Beat Ox Baker and J.D. Michaels and he'll have earned a title shot. Ricky Landell lost to J.D. Michaels (with April Hunter) after a Top Rope Elbow Drop. Michaels is on a hot streak as of late. Adam Pearce attacked Ox Baker before the bell, hitting the Jumping Piledriver in the opening minutes, and finished him off with the Superfly Splash. Pearce got on the mic and told Frank Gotch to keep the RoV Grand Championship warm for him. Delirious took an enormous beating before falling to Rikidozan's Overhead Chops. Jim Cornette laughed maniacally as Rikidozan's hand was raised after the match. Steve Corino lost to Mike Quackenbush by DQ. The match was all Quackenbush until Steve Corino repeatedly brought objects into the ring. Quack was a bloody mess when the referee had enough and called for the bell. Drake Younger and mystery partner Sabu beat Necro Butcher and the Sandman in a tables match after Drake put the Sandman through two tables and then hit Drake's Landing for the win. Butcher seethed as he helped the bloody Sandman from the ring. next week: - Adam Pearce takes on J.D. Michaels in an attempt to secure a shot at the RoV Grand Championship.

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 19 The Dream Team beat the Heartbreak Express (with Diamond Dallas Page) in a rematch from last week after a Figure Four Leglock on Phil to open the show. April Hunter and J.D. Michaels were seen talking in the back. Hunter told Michaels that he should ask Frank Gotch for a title shot. Michaels said he wasn't sure he was ready yet. Arik Cannon beat Danny Doring in a short match with the Glimmering Warlock, only to be blindsided by Rikidozan after the match. Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli made the save for their teammate. Sabu beat Necro Butcher with the Camel Clutch in a brutal Texas Death match. Butcher scored near falls with two death valley drivers after mauling Sabu on the outside but the madman from Bombay rebounded for the win. Adam Pearce lost to J.D. Michaels after a Top Rope Elbow Drop in a quick match, failing to secure a title shot. In a rematch from last week, a bloody Mike Quackenbush put Steve Corino down with the Swanton Dive for the win. RoV Tag Team champions the Naptown Dragons lost to Claudio Castagnoli & Chris Hero after a Hero's Welcome on Vortekz. Kings of Wrestling are a tough team, gald to see them take the gold.
I have a feeling that Pearce is not done with Gotch yet.

We'll see about Pearce. I don't think he's finished either. I'm more concerned with April Hunter putting ideas in J.D. Michaels' head.

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 20 Steve Corion & Ricky Landell lost to Mike Quackenbush and his mystery partner, Jushin Liger, after two Fisherman's Busters and a Quackendriver #2 on Corino to open the show. RoV Officials announced that Frank Gotch would defend the RoV Grand Championship next week against the winner of tonight's match between Drake Younger and Adam Pearce. J.D. Michaels made short work of Danny Doring, winning with the Top Rope Elbow Drop. Delirious was mauled by Necro Butcher, losing after the Tiger Driver. After the match, Necro dared Drake Younger to face him again in a falls count anywhere match. J.D. Michaels and April Hunter were seen talking to Ox Baker in the back before Baker threatened the cameraman. Drake Younger lost to Adam Pearce after a Jumping Piledriver. Pearce overwhelmed Younger with his superior strength and will go on to face Frank Gotch next week for the RoV Grand Championship. Necro Butcher was seen laughing in the crowd at Younger's loss. Arik Cannon was mauled by Rikidozan, pinned after a Hiplock. After the match, Jim Cornette challenged Frank Gotch to face Rikidozan in the ring. In the main event, RoV Tag Team champions the Kings of Wrestling beat the Naptown Dragons in a ladder match to retain the titles after a Ricola Bomb on Lee. The Kings of Wrestling celebrated in the ring as the show went off the air. next week: - Will Frank Gotch answer Rikidozan's challenge?

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 21 In a rematch from last week, Corino and Landell lost to Thunder & Lightning (Quackenbush & Liger) after Liger hit a Fisherman's Buster on a bloody Steve Corino. Ricky Landell nearly pinned Liger several times during the match but Thunder & Lightning were able to rebound for the win. Bill Apter interviewed Frank Gotch in the back. Gotch said that Rikidozan would have to go through Ox Baker and J.D. Michaels before he'd put his belt on the line against him. One half of the RoV Tag Team Champions, Chris Hero, beat Danny Doring with the Hero Sandwich. Delirious got a much needed win over Timber after the Chemical Imbalance #2. In a brutal and bloody match, Rikidozan beat Ox Baker with a forearm hammer. In a falls count anywhere match, Drake Younger beat Necro Butcher with Drake's Landing. Both men were bleeding and exhausted after the match. In the main event, Ring of Victory Grand Champion Frank Gotch lost to Adam Pearce by DQ to retain the title. Pearce hit three Jumping Piledrivers but couldn't put Gotch away. Gotch was disqualified for slamming Pearce into a ringpost during a brawl on the floor. - Corino & Landell take on Thunder & Lightning in singles action

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 22 The Naptown Dragons lost to the Dream Team by DQ to open the show. Greg Valentine looked particularly impressive, working on the legs of both Dragons. Delirious beat Savage T with a Panic Attack in a short match. The crowd continues to get behind Delirious. Ricky Landell lost to Mike Quackenbush after a Quackendriver #2 in a short match. A bloody Steve Corino used his size to his advantage and beat Jushin Liger with a Crossbody Block from the top. J.D. Michaels put up a great fight but ultimately lost to Rikidozan after a flurry of Thunderous Chops. After the match, Rikidozan locked Michaels in the Boston Crab with Jim Cornette taunted Frank Gotch on the mic before security escorted he and Rikidozan from the ring area. RoV Grand Champion Frank Gotch overcame three Jumping Piledrivers and a hurt referee to defeat Adam Pearce with the Gotch Toe Hold in a Texas Death match to retain the title. After the match, Rikidozan attacked Gotch from behind and battered him with vicious chops until Gotch was an unconscious bloody mess. Rikidozan placed Gotch's RoV Grand Championship belt on his chest and left the ring area as the show went off the air. next week: - Necro Butcher takes on Timber

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 23 The debuting team of Tom Prichard and Chris Candido lost to the Heartbreak Express by DQ after Prichard broke up a pin attempt on Candido. Necro Butcher lost to Timber in a match that spilled all over the ring area. Timber finally hit a powerslam on Butcher for the win. Timber and Butcher resumed their brawl after the match until escorted away by security. Frank Gotch and J.D. Michaels, both bruised and taped from last week, were seen arguing in the back before Ox Baker slammed the lockerroom door in the cameraman's face. Ricky Landell lost to Delirious via the Chemical Imbalance #2. Mike Quackenbush scored an impressive win over Drake Younger, winning after two Quackendriver #3's. Frank Gotch and J.D. Michaels were seen arguing again, this time in the parking lot. Gotch was being restrained by Ox Baker and Eddie Fyne while April Hunter was trying to calm Michaels. Michaels said Gotch didn't appreciate his help and that he deserved a shot at the RoV Grand Championship. Gotch stormed off alone. A battered and bloody Steve Corino beat Jushin Liger with an Old School Expulsion in a Texas Death match. Afterwards, he said he was sick of Liger and Quackenbush and challenged them to a tables match next week. RoV Tag Team champions the Kings of Wrestling narrowly defeated the Dream Team to retain the titles. Valentine was almost too much for the tag team champions. The end came when Chris Hero hit three Hero's Welcomes on Brutus Beefcake for the win. next week: - Necro Butch vs. Timber in a Texas Death Match

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 24 The Naptown Dragons beat Prichard and Candido by DQ when Prichard was dqed outside the ring. J.D. Michaels continued his winning ways, beating Adam Pearce with the Top Rope Elbow Drop. Jim Cornette was seen storming out of Rikidozan's lockerroom, muttering something about Rikidozan signing full time with the AWF. Drake Younger beat Harker Dirge with Drake's Landing in a short match. Younger continues to look impressive and is gunning for another shot at the RoV Grand Championship. Frank Gotch was shown warming up in the back, with Ox Baker and Eddie Fyne looking on. Gotch looked grim but determined. Necro Butcher beat Timber in a bloody Texas Death match with three Tiger Drivers. In a tables match with a shot at the RoV Tag Team titles on the line, Steve Corino & Ricky Landell lost to Thunder & Lightning after Quackenbush put Ricky Landell through two tables and hit the Quackendriver II for the win. In the main event, RoV Grand Champion Frank Gotch defeated Rikidozan to retain the title after two rolling knee bars and two Gotch Toe Holds. After the match, Jim Cornette stood on the second turnbuckle and repeatedly motioned to the back. Rikidozan left through the crowd as Ivan Koloff stormed the ring and smashed Frank Gotch with the Russian Chain. He choked the champion with the chain until J.D. Michaels and Ox Baker made the save. The show went off the air with Baker and Michaels supporting a bloody Frank Gotch who held his RoV Grand Championship belt aloft as the show went off the air. next week: - Fallout from Ivan Koloff's attack on Frank Gotch
