What's the highest number of tokens you can remember having in a match?
I just played the American Wolves vs. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong. The Wolves retained the I-C tag team titles despite both members of the team having 6 coins!
That match was probably like a big ROH main event with ridiculous numbers of finishers and near falls.

the most i remember recently was 12 in a match with HARLEY RACE vs ANTONIO ROCCA
i did have a tag match with 11 tokens, all on 1 team...
a few years ago i remember having a match where both wrestlers had 9 tokens when the match ended in a double DQ.

The Road Warriors just beat the Valiant Brothers. Jimmy Valiant had 7 coins on him and then got hit with the Doomsday Device!

With a final PIN rating over 12 factoring the finisher, wouldn't that just constitute a referee stoppage because Valiant was knocked out? That's how I often play it anyway. |

I have had triple threat tag team matches in the past with a ton of tokens. One triple threat tag team ladder match I had a couople weeks back had all 6 participants with atleast 8 tokens on them. It was nuts.

Muldoon (as a heartless heel) gave Hackenschmidt nearly 20 in a single match. It took Hack 6 months to return, only for Muldoon to own him again.

Man, a great 5 team gauntlet match. Last fall saw Antonino Rocca up to 8 coins! Rocca had 6 coins going into the last fall of the match which Greg Valentine & Larry Zbyszko won over Rocca and Ilio DiPaolo.

Muldoon (as a heartless heel) gave Hackenschmidt nearly 20 in a single match. It took Hack 6 months to return, only for Muldoon to own him again. How do you get to 20 in a match? after 11 its an automatic pin for everyone. Was it some kind of specialty match where you dont roll pins? |
