Original Sharky (my own recipe) 80/20 ground beef onions mushrooms Swiss cheese sesame seed bun tomatoes lettuce mayo Saute up the onions and mushrooms on stove top w olive oil. Pound out two thin but large burger patties. Put sauteed onions, mushrooms and handful of diced cheese in center of patty, and cover with other patty. Mold to perfection. Grill to medium rare, top with slice of Swiss to melt. Lightly butter bun and toast on grill for few secs. Add lettuce, tomato, mayo and CHOW.  |

Damn! That sounds awesome Swarm. In Minnesota they have a local specialty called Juicy Lucy that has cheese in the middle of the burger. This brings it up a notch!
As for my cheese, I chose pepper jack.

I love cheese. Top ones are Sharp Cheddar, Provolone and American. Great poll Swarm and nice looking burger!

National Cheese Burger Day !
Bloody hell , only in America ? . I dont eat many burgers . But do love most cheeses . Usually on crackers , toast or a sandwich though .
Costa Coffee , do a lovely Mozzarella cheese and mushroom on toast .
