If you have not heard, Foots (Willie Mack's father- he was mentioned alot on the episode of Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling that had Willie Mack as the guest) recently passed away.
There is a benefit show at the Pappy Pineda Dome next weekend where 100% of the proceeds will go to raise money for Foot's funeral. Most of the regional promotions (PWG, Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, EWF, FMLL, WPW Lucha Libre, So-Cal Pro Wrestling, DCW) who run shows in SoCal are participating in this event.

I'm back now from attending this show today.
It was a great show!
These were the matches:
Ray Rosas vs Famous B
a 10 man best 2 out of 3 falls lucha tag match (AWESOME match- lots of hilarious comedy along with outstanding action!)
Johnny Yuma and Chris Kadillak vs Scorpio Sky and Big Duke
Intermission featured a brief rap concert, I can't remember the rapper's name but I thought he did a great job.
TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick vs 2 wrestlers from LAW
the main event: Willie Mack won a rumble match that also included
Scorpio Sky, Johnny Yuma, Ray Rosas, Kaos, GQ Money, Shelly Martinez, the Hobo, Sexy Chino, and many many other Socal wrestlers. Willie was the first entrant and outlasted all the other competitors.
Afterward, I talked to Brian Kendrick again briefly and I bought a personalized signed 8X10 from him, Kendrick was signing 8 X 10s and taking photos for just donations and giving all the money to Wiilie Mack to help with the funeral expenses of Foots.
since Grant was not working this show, he sat in the seats with me and afterward we went to the same restaurant we usually go to after shows at the Pappy Pineda Dome.
Now I need to get some sleep for my doctor's appointment tomorrow before going back to work on Tuesday.
