Thursday night marked the grand opening of the Goretorium here in Las Vegas. Chris Jericho was among the VIPs who attended the grand opening. If you have not heard, the Goretorium is Eli Roth's haunted house based on his Hostel movies and he opened it up on The Strip inside the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood. Lots of monsters and gory special effects that are reportedly on par with the quality from the top Hollywood movie studios. Although it is opening now in time for Halloween, it will also be open 365 days/year. The Goretorium is also a multi-level maze so you get a different experience based on the route you choose and they are going to make constant changes too so if you go now and then go again in December you have a different experience even if you choose the same route. I am usually not much of a haunted house fan, but I will probably have to check this out. Since I am going to UNLV today to get some work done for a class I have to take for work, I was thinking of going next door to the Strip afterward. But I probably won't go to the Goretorium tonight because I want to wait for the crowd size to settle down a little as this will be just the 3rd night and the 1st Saturday night it is open.
