Third/Final Fall: Johnny Valiant pinned Hardcore Hodge via a TOP ROPE ELBOW to win the match and thus the EAWA Tag Team Championship.***
- As a result, the Valiants become the first-ever EAWA Tag Team Champions.
- This is also the first-ever championship for the Valiants in Major League Wrestling.
Match #6: Sabu defeated EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase (accompanied by Virgil)
- Sabu appeared to have this match against his enemy DiBiase won via a CAMEL CLUTCH when the Samoan Island Tribe suddenly ran down to ringside and grabbed a stack of cash from Virgil's offered outstretched arm. But before the Samoan Island Tribe could intervene on DiBiase's behalf, they were ordered back to the back by the referee. Nevertheless their distraction of the referee allowed DiBiase to recover and the match proceeded with DiBiase and Sabu exchanging an impressive series of offenses against each other as the action repeatedly spilled out of the ring.
- The end came when DiBiase once again threw Sabu out of the ring and then climbed the top turnbuckle as Virgil threw Sabu back into the ring toward DiBiase. But as DiBiase attempted a deathjump, Sabu managed to roll out of the way and DiBiase crashed to the mat. Sabu then immediately hit DiBiase with a TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT to win the match. *** 1/2
Armageddon Announcement: An announcement was made that the next Major League Wrestling PPV Armageddon, presented by MLW's Smackdown brand, is being pushed back to Christmas Day.

The Crusher did bravely fight off a total of 8 pin attempts before finally submitting to indicate this match would indeed determine a new EAWA Champion.
- After this elimination, Stevens and Orton Sr. who had been teaming together in recent episodes of EAWA, both held up their hands in victory until Orton Sr. betrayed Stevens by attacking him from behind to continue the match.
5th/Final Elimination: Orton Sr. pinned Stevens via PILEDRIVER to win the EAWA Championship
- This match ended after Stevens and Orton Sr both battled to the top of the cell where Orton Sr put Stevens in his PILEDRIVER position and then leaped through the hole from the fallen Cell panel from earlier in the match and thus hit Stevens with a PILEDRIVER from the top of the cell to the ring apron! Orton Sr. then pinned Stevens for the 3 count to become the new EAWA Champion!****

It's now time for this week's edition of Thursday Night RAW- the last edition of RAW before New Years Revolution!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Thursday December 18, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Match #1: Gorgeous George defeated S.D. Jones
- George overcame some serious offense by Jones to win this opening match via his SPINNING TOE HOLD as the former Cruiserweight Champion gets set to attempt to regain the Cruiserweight Championship at New Years Revolution.
Match #2: Killer Bees defeated Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke
- The Killer Bees won this tag team match when Jim Brunzell pinned Cousin Luke via a KILLER DROPKICK.
- Afterward, MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino announced that the Killer Bees and Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke, along with the loser of tonight's no DQ no countout #1 contender's match of the New Age Outlaws vs Greg valentine and Brutus Beefcake, would compete in a 3 way elimination tag match at New Years Revolution with the winner of that match getting a shot at the MLW Tag Team Championship at the Royal Rumble!
In the Ring: Ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta reminds everyone that, at the end of the previous edition of RAW, MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino announced that this edition of RAW would feature a fastest pin challenge.
Cappetta says the fastest pin challenge works by having the 6 wrestlers (Mil Mascaras, Nick Bockwinkel, Bruiser Brody, Harley Race, Don Muraco, and Jimmy Snuka) set to clash in the elimination chamber for the vacant World Championship at New Years Revolution each wrestle an unknown opponent tonight with the wrestler who can pin or make his opponent submit in the fewest number of attempts getting to enter the elimination chamber matchup last at New Years Revolution!
- Cappetta then announces that the next match tonight is the first of the fastest pin challenge matches.
Match #3: Don Muraco (managed by Ladies Champion Sherri Martel) defeated Diamond Dallas Page by DQ in a fastest pin challenge match
- Before this match started, Cappetta announced that Sammartino had named DDP as the special referee for the elimination chamber match at New Years Revolution!
- Muraco, who scored one pin attempt but failed to win this match outright, won this match after the action spilled outside of the ring and DDP got DQd for hitting Muraco with a steel chair.
- Afterward, Muraco got on the microphone to warn DDP that he (DDP) as the special referee had better not try to cheat him (Muraco) in the elimination chamber match for the vacant World Championship at New Years Revolution.
Match #4: Ox Baker (managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated Bruiser Brody in a fastest pin challenge match
- This match ended when Baker's fellow Heenan Family members Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race (two of Brody's 5 opponents in the elimination chamber match at New years Revolution) arrived at ringside to distract Brody who was then hit with a shoulder breaker from Baker for a pinfall defeat.
- Since Brody didn't even win the match, he automatically loses tonight's fastest pin challenge.
Backstage: Muraco and Martel are seen watching the aftermath of the Brody-Baker match with Muraco commenting that, although he thinks DDP got himself DQd in order to try to prevent Muraco from winning tonight's fastest pin challenge, he's still in the lead in tonight's fastest pin challenge since he, unlike Brody, at least won his matchup tonight.
- Sammartino approaches Muraco and Martel to tell Martel, who won the Ladies Championship at the last New Years Revolution, that at New Years Revolution she will be marking her now 1 year reign as Ladies Champion by defending her title against Ida Mae Martinez.
Match #5: Jimmy Snuka defeated Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. in a fastest pin challenge match.
- Snuka won this matchup in his second pin attempt as Orton Jr. kicked out of a Snuka pin attempt via a leap frog and chop but lost on Snuka's 2nd pin which came via a SUPERFLY LEAP.
- The TV announcers mention that, although Muraco only used 1 pin attempt and Snuka required 2 pin attempts, Snuka is now in the lead in tonight's fastest pin challenge as he actually won his match by pinfall and Muraco only won by DQ.
Backstage: Larry Sharpe and Ed "Strangler" Lewis are watching the aftermath of the Snuka-Orton Jr,. match when Sharpe suddenly and unwisely reminds Lewis that it was Lewis' loss to Snuka on the last episode of RAW that prevented Lewis from qualifying for the elimination chamber match at New Years Revolution.
- Lewis suddenly reacts to Sharpe's comment by viciously placing Sharpe in his STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK and refuses to relinquish the hold.
- Suddenly Lewis is forced to release his finisher against Sharpe when he (Lewis) is smashed on the back with a steel chair. Lewis turns around to see the Missing Link who suddenly jumps on Lewis and forces him to the ground by biting his forehead before leaping up and running away as Lewis is then seen picking himself up off the floor bleeding heavily from his forehead.
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos in action, the no DQ and no countout #1 contenders' matchup between the New Age Outlaws and Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake with the winner challenging the Kangaroos for the MLW Tag Team Championship at New Years Revolution, the 3 remaining fastest pin challenge matches as Mascaras, Bockwinkel, and Race each wrestle an unknown opponent and seek to beat Snuka's current lead of 2 pin attempts, and more!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) RAW Thursday December 18, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #6: MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by Captain Kangaroo) defeated Iron Mike DiBiase and Johnny Rodz in a non-title match.
- Going into their title defense at New Years Revolution against the winner of tonight's no DQ and no countout match of the New Age Outlaws vs Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake, the Kangaroos won when Roy Heffernan pinned Rodz via manager's interference after Captain Kangaroo (Captain Lou Albano) tripped Rodz.
Match #7: Harley Race (managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated Cruiserweight Champion Pepper Gomez in a fastest pin challenge match.
- for this special fastest pin challenge matchup, Gomez's Cruiserweight Championship was not on the line
- Race won this match via a back suplex but it took him 3 pin attempts for him to get the victory which means Race failed to replaced Snuka (leading at 2 pin attempts) as the current leader in tonight's fastest pin challenge.
Backstage: An angry and still heavily bleeding Ed "Strangler" Lewis enters the office of MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino and demands a match against the Missing Link in response for tonight's backstage attack and Sammartino grants Lewis' request for a match against the Missing Link which will take place at New Years Revolution.
Match #8: Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake defeated the New Age Outlaws in a no DQ no countout #1 contenders' match.
- Valentine and Beefcake picked up the surprise victory when Valentine forced Kip James to tap out to his FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK.
- As a result of their victory, Valentine and Beefcake will challenge the Fabulous Kangaroos for the MLW Tag Team Championship at New Years Revolution and the New Age Outlaws, as a result of their defeat, at New Years Revolution will instead be competing against both the Killer Bees and Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke in the 3 way elimination tag match with the winner getting a shot at the MLW Tag Team Championship at the Royal Rumble.
Match #9: Rick Rude (managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated Mil Mascaras in a fastest pin challenge match.
- Rude, who is set to challenge for the Intercontinental Championship at New Years Revolution against current champion Jim Londos in a ladder match, looked impressive in getting the surprise win over Mascaras via his RUDE AWAKENING.
- As a result of his defeat, Mascaras is automatically ineligible to win tonight's fastest pin challenge which means that with only Nick Bockwinkel's match to go that Jimmy Snuka remains in the lead at 2 pinfall attempts.

Match #11: Nick Bockwinkel (managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated Intercontinental Champion Jim Londos in a fastest pin challenge match.
- Jim Londos ended up being Bockwinkel's surprise opponent as part of tonight's fastest pin challenge contest which effectively made this matchup Londos-Bockwinkel 3 with Bockwinkel emerging 3-0 in his matchups against the Golden Greek.
- Bockwinkel won this match via his BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER in his 2nd pin/submission attempt of the match which left Bockwinkel tied with Snuka as the co-leaders in the fastest pin challenge at 2 pin attempts.
- Afterward, MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino showed up to announce that to determine a clear winner in tonight's fastest pin challenge there will be a bonus match of Jimmy Snuka vs Nick Bockwinkel with the winner winning the fastest pin challenge and getting to enter last in the elimination chamber match for the vacant World Championship at New Years Revolution!
Match #11, the main event: Jimmy Snuka defeated Nick Bockwinkel (manged by Bobby Heenan) to win the fastest pin challenge contest.
- Snuka won the match and thus tonight's contest by pinning Bockwinkel via a flying headbutt.
- As a result, Snuka wins the right to enter the elimination chamber match last at New Years Revolution for the vacant World Championship.
- As Snuka climbs the turnbuckle with his arms raised in victory and as the TV announcers wonder aloud whether Snuka's monumental victory tonight will propel him to becoming the new World Champion at New Years Revolution, tonight's show comes to an end.

With just 6 days to go until Major League Wrestling's (MLW's) Smackdown brand presents Armageddon on December 25th, it's now time for this week's edition of Friday Night Smackdown!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) Smackdown Friday December 19, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Match #1: Tiger Mask defeated George South
- Tiger Mask, who in 6 days challenges RAW's Pepper Gomez for the Cruiserweight Championship at Armageddon, survived a surprising impressive series of offense from South that even included a pin attempt before winning via a jumping spin kick.
Backstage: MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino is talking to Eddie Fyne- the new manager of the Four Horsemen.
- Sammartino says he knows Fyne is a gambler and proposes to him "a double or nothing" match at Armageddon in which the Four Horsemen's George Hackenschmidt and Larry Zbyszko would both put the title shots they won by surviving their elimination match at Survivor Seres on the line in a tag match against Frank Gotch and Rikidozan at Armageddon. But if they defeat Gotcha nd Rikidozan, Hackenschmidt and Zbyszko would then have 2 title shots each in the future.
- To improve his odds, Fyne says if Sammartino will make it a 3 on 2 handicap match in which Hackenschmidt and Zbyszko would be joined by their fellow Horsemen Johnny Valentine then he will agree to the double or nothing stipulations for the match against Gotch and Rikidozan at Armageddon and Sammartino agrees to this request by Fyne.
Match #2: Mr. Canada (accompanied by The Mountie) defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan
- Mr. Canada won this match against his enemy Duggan via a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK right after The Mountie had gotten away with smashing Duggan in the back of the head with his shock stick.
- The TV announcers remind their viewers that, next week at Armageddon, Duggan and Mr. Canada are set to fight to each other in a 2 X 4 match!
Match #3: Steve "Dr. Death" Williams (managed by Killer Kowalski) defeated Brad Armstrong (accompanied by "Bullet" Bob Armstrong)
- Getting set to go into his match challenging for the United States Championship against current champion Dan "the Beast" Severn next week at Armageddon, Williams won this match very easily in just a couple of moves. Armstrong started off trying unsuccessfully to power slam Williams who responded with a lariat and then the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE for the quick and decisive win.
- The TV announcers ask, will Dr. Death become the new United States Champion next week at Armageddon?
Match #4: United States Champion Dan "the Beast" Severn defeated Fritz Von Goering.
- Immediately following the previous match in which his challenger for the United States Championship Steve "Dr. Death" Williams looked overly impressive, current champion Severn also looked good tonight as he convincingly defeated Von Goering via his WAKIGATAME.
Backstage: MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino tells Jushin Liger and Don Leo Jonathan that he is setting up a "the smallest vs the tallest" gimmick match to add to the lineup at Armageddon next in which Liger, who is tied with Tiger Mask as the shortest wrestler on the Smackdown roster, will take on DLJ- the tallest wrestler on the Smackdown roster.
Match #5: Ivan Koloff and Nikolai Volkoff (managed by Nikita Breznikov) defeated Buff Bagwell and Koko B. Ware
- Koloff and Volkoff, who last time on Smackdown challenged the Boogie Woogie Man and a tag team partner of his choice to a match at Armageddon after the Boogie Woogie Man eliminated both Koloff and Volkoff in their 10 man tag elimination match at the Survivor Series, won when Koloff put Ware away via a backbreaker.
- Afterward, the Boogie Woogie Man came out and introduced Antonino Rocca, Koloff's former enemy, as his tag team partner for the Armageddon tag match against Koloff and Volkoff!
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes the New Midnight Express vs the Midnight Express, the World Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors vs the Mongols, and Antonio Inoki vs Johnny Valentine with Inoki's Armageddon opponent MLW Champion Buddy Rogers in the corner of Roger's fellow Horsemen Johnny Valentine!
