A really good show overall...no really big surprises but a couple small ones with Amasis returning and the whole heroes/Jigsaw/Quack/Gekido mix up. Kingston is losing his luster to me as the sentimental hero guy and was hoping for Donst to take the strap. Overall a good show with a stellar first half and mediocre 2nd half. My thoughts exactly. Great 1st half, good opening tag match, the atomicos was super fun with a real nice showing by assailANT. ACH-Touchdown was fantastic & the stuff with Archie was great too. The 2nd half was meh. The 10-man tag was good, but Crossbones was unimpressive. The Tag Title match was not very good but Waltman worked his butt off. The main event was plodding and did nothing for me. Not much of a fan of Donst, though moreso than Kingston and was rooting for Jakob to finally stand up for himself to no avail. Overall, an enjoyable show, well worth the $16.99 and will definitely watch it again. No real technical issues except for a freeze during the 2nd half that didn't last lvery ong. Good job SMV.

The first half of the show was fantastic. The eight man tag team match with Quackenbush on one side and Jigsaw on the other was full of great action and emotion. They set up a lot of stuff going into season 12 with that one. It seemed like after intermission the show lost some momentum, though. Marty Jannetty with his diminished physical abilities still showed a lot of heart and did things most people in his condition could not or would not attempt. He is the consummate veteran. The match with him and Kid versus the Bucks was everything it could be. Conversely, Crossbones showed his ring rust pretty badly in the ten-man tag. Donst and Kingston seemed off in their match. They didn't gel as well as I'd expect and the main event didn't live up to what both of those guys are capable of doing. It was still a decent match, but it was not the one I enjoyed most.
I hope everyone stayed around and watched after the "end credits". There were some Marvel movie type "Easter eggs" at the end.

I can't believe after how this whole season was booked, they had a chance to not screw up and actually give Donst the title...and they didn't. Granted, I didn't see the show but there's no excuse for Donst not winning. At least Kid/Jannetty vs. The Bucks had a good match by all accounts, even if I don't like the outcome.

While I'd have loved Jannetty and Kid to have won the belts, it wasn't going to happen. Looks liked Devastation Corporation is likely to do so.
Donst should have beat Kingston...Kingston's just drifting around as champion with no real direction. It's one thing Chikara has been missing.
Curious to see where they go next year with the Eye of Tyr.
Good luck to the California people who will get to see Chikara next year.

The Bucks will be starting off 2013 against 3.0, as the 2 teams have tussled in recent multiman matches. I see 3.0 giving them a fight, but the Bucks coming out as champs again. Not sure what they will do with Devastation Corp, but I think we see their point capturing continue before they cash in. I agree that the Kingston reign is just not exciting anymore. All the challengers are exhausted now. The Kingston style match is good for a semi-main, but a Chikara show should end with a much more fast paced match and have multiple people. The shows with him defending just seem to end flat (ie KOT Night 2). I think the Envoy-Batiri match and the first half of the card were great, but the last 2 just dragged on. Things do look bright for 2013, with some teasers at the end of the show revolving around the Eye of tyr (and perhaps Dr Cube), and Wink Vavasseur and his dad. Guys at the show commented on getting business cards for this company titorconglomerate.comThey own the company that owns Chikara, and the special security that took out Swamp Monster at KOT and Archie last night. Also Wink's dad is employed by them. Interesting...
