I have been on a 90 day weight loss challenge, started September 25. So far, I have lost a total of 15 lbs, and I have actually gone down from a waist size 40 (and honestly, was on the upward trend, as those were getting quite tight) to a size 36 jeans.
Here is my progess, weekly, so far:
9/25/2012 - 247 lbs (starting weight)
10/2/2012 - 243.8 lbs. (-3.2 lbs) (OVERALL: -3.2 lbs)
10/9/2012 - 242.2 lbs. (-1.6 lbs) (OVERALL: -4.8 lbs)
10/16/2012 - 241.0 lbs. (-1.4 lbs) (OVERALL: -6.0 lbs)
10/23/2012 - 237.2 lbs. (-3.8 lbs) (OVERALL: -9.8 lbs)
10/30/2012 - 234.2 lbs. (-3.0 lbs.) (OVERALL: -12.8 lbs)
11/6/2012 - 233.6 lbs. (-0.6 lbs.) (OVERALL: -13.4 lbs.)
11/13/2012 - 232.0 lbs. (-1.6 lbs.) (OVERALL: -15.0 lbs.)
I am very, VERY happy with my progress. I have managed to lose each week so far, even through the dreaded Halloween Candy Week (The HCW, doesn't that strike fear in to the hearts of everyone?).
Next week, I take measurements. Three weeks ago, I took measurements (every month basically). I had lost 3 inches off my waist at that point. Really looking forward to seeing how much I have lost next week!!
This 90 day challenge will be officially over December 25th...yeah, Christmas. At that time, I will immediately begin another one. I hope to be down to 210 lbs by December 25...that will be a very tough goal...still doable, I think, but very, very tough. All in all, by the time the 2nd 90 day challenge is over, I want to be down to 175 lbs, which is my ultimate goal, which would be 72 lbs. total lost.
Can I reach that? Wait and see...but as of right now, I have lost 15 lbs, and feeling great. I can actually lay on my back and still be able to breath and not feel as though my lungs are being crushed (because they were).
I will continue to post weekly updates here, to hopefully inspire those of you that are also looking to lose some weight and/or just live a more healthy and fit life.
