Sadly not this year. Had a elder friend of the family pass so the visitation is on Friday. It's a good thing he'd been ill for a while. Otherwise my wife and I usually don't buy much just drink coffee and watch the crazy commence.

No. i don't think the stores should open until 9 am friday. this thing of opening on thanksgiving night is stupid. i went 3 years ago and bought a pair of pants on black friday. stood in line for half an hour. went to the same store the following night and no one is in the place. it's a 3 day weekend. if they don't open early, the same people are going to anyway. they aren't going to lose sales.
