Legendary member of the Fabulous Freebirds, Buddy Roberts has passed away at the age of 65 according to WWE.com.
Roberts spent time working for WWE, AWA, UWF & WCCW before retirning in the late 1980'

Very sad news. I was, and still am, a huge fan of the Freebirds. Hayes, Roberts, and Gordy were incredible, and Buddy was just out of his mind. He was a great talent. Thanks for all the memories, Buddy! RIP
