It sounds as if Mick Foley may be "available" following SummerSlam, as his contract is set to expire and he is unsure whether or not he wants to continue with the company.

I would be ecstatic if most of the guys listed at both shows could be signed.
Magnum TA Roddy Piper Jerry Lynn The Wild Samoans Stan Hansen Bruno Sammartino (whose previous licensing deal may have expired by now, you know) Roddy Piper Jimmy Garvin Buddy Roberts (even though he would be signed and then sat on unless/until Michael Hayes and/or Terry Gordy got signed) Magnum T.A. Paul Jones Ole Anderson Kevin Sullivan Ken Patera
And that's just the guys, off hand, I would be interested in seeing signed...I would be happy if ANY of them got signed.

Buddy Roberts (even though he would be signed and then sat on unless/until Michael Hayes and/or Terry Gordy got signed) . Well, you could always work on Jerry Brown, who was Robert's former tag partner in the Hollywood Blondes. Sir Oliver Humperdink actually managed the duo, so he may have some contact with the Brown family

and probably the only version we'll ever get (as much as I lovd the Austin/Pillman version, I don't think Austin would ever sign. Even if he did, I think he'd do better as a non blonde)

On Buddy Roberts, you could bring him in as his other Texas identity until Hayes and Gordy are added. Roberts did a Dale Valentine stint for a while

Foley would be a fantastic get. If that is at all possible.

I'd be surprised if Flair was approachable. He's leaving WWE to take independent bookings to improve his financial situation. ($225,000 for a series of NWA appearances sponsored by a Charlotte attorney / booker; $15,000 for a shoot interview with one of the major video companies; $10,000 per appearance on the indy circuit; various other speaking engagements which is WWE contract won't allow.)
He's walking away from a guaranteed $1 million from Vince over the next two years because his agent thinks he can make more out on his own.
Bottom line, I don't think he'll be interested in working for free. As Tim Dalton reiterated at GCon, making contact is the easy part. Convincing the guy to give away his image without compensation is a tough task, especially for a lot of the old-timers who were taken advantage of by unscrupulous promoters.
The only scenario I could see if if Flair were to get a look at the cards for Harley Race, Jim Cornette, Giant Baba, and other respected Legends and decide to get on board, but I would consider those odds to be pretty slim given his current situation.

And yet, if no one ever asks, then he never will sign.
