And yet, if no one ever asks, then he never will sign. Yep, all they can say is no. But I agree, it would be nice to for a Flair to see guys he really idolizes (Race, etc) in card form...this could possibility give him the idea to sign

And yet, if no one ever asks, then he never will sign. Can't argue with that logic! I'm just saying, I won't hold my breath. Dalton and the Olsons put a TON of effort into recruiting these guys. It's easy for us players to toss out names of all the Legends we want. Actually getting them on board is a major undertaking.

I dont think I could ever pass on the chance to let Ric Flair about LOW but I think that's something better handled by Tom or someone from the Legends team. Anybody who has ever approached a wrestler about being part of LOW knows the funny looks and general suspicious attitude you almost always get. I'm not sure if I suggested this before or not but having something official looking to hand out at shows with info about Legends would be great. Is it possible to make something available in a PDF file for us to download and print out ?

I bet whoever's going to the signings could get a Filsinger Games business card or some other sort of official-looking paper that will at least get a foot in the door. I agree that there shouldn't be "freelancers" trying to make signings, especially of that magnitude, but I figure it can't hurt for someone to mention the game and say they'd love to see him in it. The more people that do that, the more likely the wrestler might think, "Hmm, maybe there's something to this game after all." Just don't be wacky nutjob fan about approaching them.

If someone does a poor job of presenting the game to a wrestler there's always the chance of that coming back to haunt Filsinger Games in the future

Well, having met lots of FG fans at GalactiCon, I don't think they're your typical fanboys. I think all it takes is, "Hey, there's this cool wrestling game called Legends of Wrestling. Guys like Harley Race, Bockwinkel, Baba, are all in it, and it'd be great to see you in it someday, too."
Just get the name of the game out there and some of the big names already associated with it, and let the seed germinate. No hard sells. I still say it's got greater potential for good than harm.

yeah what trent said.i would never ask an wrestler about Filsinger games and LOW.just out of respect for Tom and the wrestler.they dont need an third party who has no part in the transactions of the game other than playing it.

And this probably doesn't matter to most people, but I'd probably be more likely to buy a shoot interview, pay for an autograph, etc etc for someone in Legends...just to support them because they supported the game
Granted, probably wouldn't matter to someone like Flair, but maybe to a few others around

Piper would compliment the Orton card.
