I am not making fun of anyone first of all. People believe what they believe! But listening to some they are really freaked out by 12/21/12. If you believe hey that's cool. I do not! I know acouple people who are really taking the end of the world for all its worth. Calling off work that day and stocked with supplies. Anyone know anybody who is preparing for it?

I find it humorous, and am thoroughly amused that AIW in Cleveland is doing an End of the World show that night which features the Batiri, who have been saying for the past year that this is the date they will end the world. I have a friend who is stockpiling guns, ammo and other supplies. The same friend who got me and my friends to go to the hills of NC for Y2K New Years. |

Sounds like your friend is getting ready for a zombie apacolypse....lol Well, Obama did just re-elected and now his minions/voters are looking for their "bacon". So....might be closer than you think. When the Prez can't deliver on his "promises" to the poor and illegal, where do you think those zombies are gonna look next for all the free stuff they were told they were going to get? Might not be a bad idea to have a few guns laying around the house the day the zombies get sick of waiting around for their free shit and start taking what they think they deserve. Called a Class War. Best case scenario is you protect yourself and your family. Worst case scenario you never use them.  |

My friend is a Republican living in Washington DC...so you very well might be onto something there Swarm. There are certainly some crackheads nearby that can easily pass as zombies.

My parents have a friend from church who's about 80. His doctor told him the other day he has several things in his spine that need surgery and that 'you better have the surgery now , because in a year the government will not approve it for your age" As for 12-21-2012...well if we all get wiped out by a meteor it will be quick and painless probably. |

Didn't the Mayan calendar not even include Leap Year and if so the world should have ended years ago?
December 21st, the last day of work before my annual 2 week holiday break. That night I plan to be at a Social Distortion show at Mandalay Bay. 2 days later I plan on (I have tickets on the 50!) attending the now Sunday evening/nationally televised live football game between my Seahawks and the 49ers in Seattle!
