Charleston's newspaper The Post and Courier last weekend had this this article on LOW's Killer Kowalski: www.charleston.net/news/2008/aug/03/killer_anatomy_mat_villain/It sounds like Kowalski is in really bad shape. But hopefully he makes it. Kowalski's one of my favorite cards to play in LOW and Kowalski's LE card is actually my favorite of all the LOW LE/SE cards.

Just read he took a turn for the worse. He's still hanging on, but it was sad to hear.

Yeah, I heard today that he suffered a major heart attack and his condition is reportedly very grave. Very sad news.

Ole Kowalski is a pretty tough old bird. I hear they upgraded him to gaurded and that there has been some improvements in some areas.

I read this sad piece of news earlier this morning:
Wrestling legend Wladek (Walter) "Killer" Kowalski, 81, remains in serious condition after suffering a severe heart attack last Friday. He was not expected to survive through the evening. Kowalski was briefly non-responsive, but by Saturday he was responsive to those around him. Kowalski was briefly taken off life support on Saturday, and his heart kept beating on its own. However, he went back on life support by Sunday evening and at last word is in a coma state, reports 1Wrestling.com.
