Big Time Wrestling (BTW) announced last Friday night that its almost annual wrestling convention, Wrestlefest, this year will be held on Saturday May 11th in Newark, California. Depending on the names announced (if there are not too many wrestlers I have already met before,) I think I am going to go to Wrestlefest 2013.  |

Wrestlefest reportedly tried and failed to bring both Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair to this year's convention:
- A promoter putting together a convention for May 11th in Newark, California tried to get Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair booked. Hogan reportedly wanted $35,000, agreed to the price but came back and said he wanted $50,000. Flair turned down the appearance because the event is being held at a high school.
Flair I met several years ago at Caesar's Palace, but it would have been awesome to meet Hogan.
It looks like I will probably not go to Wrestlefest 2013 since I have already met all of the names announced except for Mickie James.
