Reds win 14 of 17 and own the second best record in baseball.
Unfortunately, division rival Cardinals have been playing just as well, so Cincinnati remains in second place...

I feel your pain, Chewey, and am rooting hard for the Reds or Pirates to beat out the Cardinals this year. Being a Mets fan I felt the pain of those early 80's pennant races where St. Louis always eemed to edge out the Mets and I'm not even going to talk about the 06' curveball from Adam Wainwright. It's a double burn that Carlos Beltran, who looked at said curveball, is now having a great season for the Cardinals!  |

Living in Las Vegas without a MLB team, I usually don't get to attend alot of MLB games.
But it looks like I will actually be attending 3 games in 3 different cities (Seattle, Anaheim, and Philadelphia) within the next 2 weeeks!

Pete, your thoughts on the pier six brawl from a week or so ago? I was glad to see Greinke stand up for the team...although I don't like the whole bean ball stuff. Way to much bad can happen when you throw at guys and it usually never ends well for the guy who made the first "bad pitch". |
