Very sad. Huge impact on the sport for a manager.

I met Paul Bearer at the Atlanta airport while we were both on our way to Miami for Wrestlemania. Paul Bearer, my friend Greg & myself were all at the terminal early and were the only 3 there waiting for the plane at the time. He was eating breakfast at the time so we were going to wait until he finished eating to ask to get our picture taken with him, he noticed my CM Punk shirt and started talking to us and then asked us if we would watch his bags while he went to the bathroom. We got our picture with him when he came back. A few hours later while in Miami we ran into him again at Wrestlemaina Axxess and he remembered us, "hey, aren't you the two guys from the airport this morning?"
he seemed like such a nice guy and while talking to him at the airport he seemed so happy to talk about the early days when i told him i loved watching him in WCCW on ESPN when i was young.

I still remember first seeing him in World Class. Great facials, solid promo MAN. Loved him later as Paul Bearer. RIP

Truly sad news about the death of a true pro wrestling icon.
I enjoyed watching him on TV as Paul Bearer in the WWE and as Percy Pringle III at CWFH either through the streamed CWFH TV episodes or live at the CWFH tapings.
Hopefully the WWE inducts Paul Bearer in their Hall of Fame either this year or at the very latest next year when Wrestlemania is in New Orleans as he was from the South.
RIP
