The GalactiCAN staff have a huge announcement to make. The dates for this year's GALACTICAN has been set. GALACTICAN 2013 will take place over three days starting Friday May 10th to Sunday May 12th, 2013 Hopefully this will avoid both the Victoria Day & Memorial Day long weekends. Once again the Best Western Royal Brock in Guelph Ontario will be playing host to the convention, and we are once again hoping to have Sunday's event at Retro Rocket Comics in nearby Cambridge Ontario.
The events will be as follows for next years tournament. Friday Night will be a sit down dinner with Tom (if he can make it this year), if not the GalactiCAN Staff will work to bring in a couple of local indy wrestlers for this event.
Saturday May 4th will feature several tournaments throughout the day. The one tournament announced so far will be the COTG/Real World Wrestling Lethal Lottery as the team of Eddie Kingston & The Guardian try to defend the title of being the first team to win this tournament.
Sunday will feature a 16-32 COTG/Real World tournament as the best of both universes collide in a single elimination tournament.
I have worked out a rate for rooms for GALCATICAN 2013, after talking with the Rooms Division Manager at my work we are setting aside a special rate of $69.00 CDN per night. With that rate a two night stay after taxes totals $155.94 CDN. That rate is for our standard room of Two Queen beds, so if you and a friend are interested in joining us this year the room, split down the middle will cost you $77.97 CDN.
I will also be releasing the Arda Ocal: Aftermath Interview card and I am working hard to have Arda Ocal, the host of Aftermath on hand for to sign the cards.
Finally, because the hotel is allowing us free use of the space the only concession they as is people attending the convention purchase dinner Friday and Saturday Night threw the hotel Food & Beverage department.
Looking forward to having some members of the community make the trip this year.

In all seriousness, 8 was a good start for a first one. Hope more people make it, these little cons are just as good as any to meet and get to know people and play the game with others. If anyone is even 3-4 hours from this, I'd recommend going.
