Another fun TV episode, but did Steen win or Strong? You have Strong defeating Steen written in red, but describing Steen won. I'm looking for Too Cold Scorpio versus Scorpio Sky... I was a little confused too but it looks like Steen got the win. Athena over MsChif was a nice upset and I like the way that you are bringing the ladies into ROV. yeah, Steen got the win and I wrote the result wrong I fixed it now, thanks guys for catching the mistake!

It's now time for Raising the Stakes!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #8: Raising the Stakes Saturday March 30, Year 1 Silverton Casino Las Vegas, Nevada (First Half of the show)
Preshow: Robert Anthony defeated Arik Royal
- Anthony won via TACO PIZZA
Match #1: Young Bucks defeated C&C Wrestle Factory
- this match was set up earlier this week on ROV TV when the Bucks accidentally gave Early Onset Alzheimer's to Caprice Coleman and were then told "to Buck off" by an angry Cedric Alexander
- a great opening IPPV match finally won by the Bucks when Nick Jackson pinned Cedric Alexander via a 450 SPLASH
- afterward, the Bucks suddenly again gave Early Onset Alzheimer's to Coleman and, as the crowd booed them, proceeded to give Alexander four BANG FOR YOUR BUCKS.
- the Bucks then said nobody tells them "to Buck off" and if anyone gets in their way, including the fans, they'll "Buck you up" before leaving to a chorus of boos as the Bucks have apparently turned heel.
Match #2: Madison Eagles defeated Saraya Knight, Cheerleader Melissa, and Mercedes Martinez in an elimination match
- one week before the Women of Vegas have their Luck Be a Lady IPPV to determine the first-ever Women of Vegas Champion, this was a matchup involving 4 of the women receiving some of the best odds at the local sportsbooks for next week's tournament.
- Martinez pinned Melissa via FISHERMAN'S BUSTER
- Martinez and Knight both counted out
- after Melissa was eliminated, this match turned into a real chick fight as Martinez and Knight brawled with each other outside of the ring as the referee made the 20 count to eliminate them both and award the match as a result to Eagles.
- as she gets her hand raised in victory, the TV announcers wonder aloud how will Madison Eagles do in next week's championship tournament at Luck Be a Lady?
Match #3: Scorpio Sky defeated 2 Cold Scorpio
- in this battle between ROV's two Scorpios, Scorpio Sky got the victory via ACE OF SPADES
Match #4: Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team defeated Future Shock by DQ
- this grudge match ended in a DQ when the action spilled out of the ring where Charlie Haas grabbed a steel chair and tossed it to Shelton Benjamin who meant to use it to hit Kyle O'Reilly. O'Reilly however ducked and grabbed the chair from Benjamin and hit Benjamin with it to draw the DQ as the 4 members of the 2 tag team enemies brawled their way toward the back
Match #5: Mike Bennett (accompanied by Brutal Bob and Maria) defeated Delirious
- Delirious appeared to have this grudge match won via his BIZARRO DRIVER but Maria, who Delirious has been wildly attracted to in this feud, distracted Delirious allowing Bennett to recover and proceed to get the win via PHOTO FINISH.
End of First Half. Second Half posted next.

Match #6: ROV TV Champion Adam Pearce (accompanied by Truth Martini) defeated Willie Mack in a no DQ/no countout match
- Pearce, after sending Mack through a ringside table outside of the ring at one point, got the victory via his JUMPING PILEDRIVER to retain his ROV TV Championship.
Match #7: American Wolves vs S.C.U.M. in a lumberjack match ended in a no contest
- the lumberjacks: Jay Lethal, Homicide, Rhino, Michael Elgin, Tommaso Ciampa, Mike Mondo, Grizzly Redwood, and Ethan Page
- during this match, while throwing the various wrestlers back into the ring, Lethal and Ciampa repeatedly exchanged some heated words with each other
- a good grudge match between these two tag teams ended in chaos after Jimmy Jacobs was sent out of the ring where Lethal, while attempting to throw Jacobs back into the ring, was suddenly hit with a cheap shot from Ciampa which set off a brawl among the lumberjacks which spread into the ring and forced the referee to call for the no contest
- however, during the mayhem, Jacobs took advantage of the situation and used his railroad spike to viciously attack the face of Davey Richards who bled heavily in the ring until Eddie Edwards was able to attend to him.
Match #8: Bryan Danielson defeated El Generico
- this matchup between two former Grand Champions was won by Danielson via a TRIANGLE CHOKE
Match #9: ROV Tag Team Champions the Briscoes defeated the All Sleaze Express
-First Fall: Mark Briscoe pinned Rhett Titus after the DOOMSDAY DEVICE. Briscoes up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Jay Briscoe pinned Joey Ryan after a SPIKE JAY DRILLER. Briscoes win 2-0 to retain the ROV Tag Team Championship.
next weekend- ROV Show #9: Luck Be a Lady Saturday April 6th, Year 1 Las Vegas, NV a Women of Vegas IPPV 1. a tournament to determine 1st Women of Vegas Champion 2. a gauntlet match to determine 1st Women of Vegas Tag Team Champions
Match #10, the main event: Roderick Strong defeated ROV Champion Claudio Castagnoli (accompanied by Jakob Hammermeier and Daizee Haze,) and Kevin Steen
- in perhaps the MOTY so far in ROV, Strong made Castagnoli tap out to his STRONG HOLD to win the ROV Championship and bring the ROV Championship back into ROV full time!
- during this match, Truth Martini- as he has done for many of Strong's matches- was seen standing near the back and scouting the action. Apparently unbeknown to Strong, Martini helped him win the title by quietly moving up to ringside and suddenly hitting Castagnoli with the Book of Truth before dropping out of sight beneath the ring. Strong then applied his submission finisher on Castagnoli for the victory.
End of Show.

I'm glad to see Roderick Strong win the ROV Gold and bring that strap back to the fed, Solid Stuff... Have to agree with Crimson, Cheerleader Melissa is a favorite of mine and it was nice to see her take the gold. Strong over Castagnoli and Steen sounded like an incredible bout and I liked the hidden interference by Truth Martini. Looking forward to Steen vs. Rhino on ROV TV. Great action as always Vegas.
