I just realized I never posted the second half results of this show.
Ring of Vegas (ROV)
Show #29: Vegas in the Heart of Texas
May 16th, Year Two
Dallas, TX
(Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #7: Willie Mack defeated Vegas Champion Scorpio Sky 2-1 in a best 2 out of 3 falls match
- First Fall: Mack won via CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMB
- Second Fall: Sky won via a frog splash
- Third/Final Fall: Mack won via a Samoan Drop to win this incredible math 2-1 and become the new Vegas Champion!
Match #8: Rob Van Dam defeated 2 Cold Scorpio in RVD's final ROV match
- in his final ROH match, RVD went out a winner as he put away 2 Cold Scorpio with his FIVE-STAR FROG SPLASH.
- afterward, RVD thanked the ROV fans and said he is uncertain about his future plans
Match #9: ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves defeated reDRagon 2-0 in a Texas Tornado match
- First Fall: Davey Richards made Bobby Fish tap out to his ANKLE LOCK. Wolves up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Eddie Edwards put away Kyle O'Reilly via DIE HARD. Wolves win 2-0 to retain the ROV Tag Team Championship.
- afterward, the Wolves were met in the ring by the Inner City Machine Guns (Ricochet and Rich Swann) who challenged the Wolves to a match later this month at Open the Vegas Gate! The Wolves accepted this challenge.
Backstage: on his way to the ring for his ROV Championship match against current champion Roderick Strong, Chris Hero is approached by AR Fox who says, regardless whether Hero wins the ROV Championship tonight or not, he wants to challenge Hero to a match at Open the Vegas Gate. Hero accepts this challenge!
Match #10: ROV Champion Roderick Strong (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Chris Hero by DQ
- a great match with a total of 9 unsuccessful pin/submission attempts, Hero at the end apparently had Strong pinned via his LOADED ROLLING ELBOW and the referee even made the 3 count causing everyone to believe Hero had just become the new ROV Champion. But then Martini managed to point out to the referee that Hero had loaded his elbow pad to gain the pinfall and the referee then reversed his decision to award the match to Strong via DQ. Strong thus retained the ROV Championship, although not without controversy. Afterward, Johnny Gargano appeared and gave Strong mock applause before informing him that ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness just made a matchup of Gargano vs Strong as the main event for Open the Vegas Gate!
Show #30: Open the Vegas Gate

featuring both ROV and Dragon Gate wrestlers!
1. Johnny Gargano vs ROV Champion Roderick Strong
2. ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves vs Inner City Machine Guns
3. Chris Hero vs AR Fox
4. more matches TBA
Match #11: Rick Rude defeated Bruiser Brody, Terry Gordy, and King Kong Bundy in a Texas Legends 4 way elimination match
- Rude pinned Brody via the RUDE AWAKENING after Brody was hit by a 3 on 1 assault by Rude, Gordy, and Bundy
- Rude pinned Bundy after a missed running turnbuckle charge
- Rude pinned Gordy via the RUDE AWAKENING to win this match by making all of the eliminations himself
- afterward, Rude swung his hips back and forth as the crowd chanted "You Still Got It!"
- {Promoter's Note: Ironically, I read this morning that today marked the 15th anniversary of Rick Rude's death. RIP Rick Rude}
Match #12: El Generico defeated Kevin Steen (accompanied by vOodOo kAos and the Missing Link) in a Texas Death match
- in this extremely violent grudge match main event, Generico was able to overcome attempted interference from kAos and Texas Legend the Missing Link. This match ended when Steen was holding down Generico and kAos attempted to spew some green mist at Generico. Generico ducked and the mist instead hit Steen in the face. The Missing Link then tried to hit Generico with flailing forearms but Generico dodged this too and caused the Missing Link to instead hit kAos and this collision sent both kAos and the Missing Link flying out of the ring. Meanwhile, a blinded Steen was rolling on the mat in agony where he was put away by Generico who used a deathjump to win this deathmatch.
