It is now time for the final episode of ROV TV before this weekend's Open the Vegas Gate!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #66 May 26th, Year Two Las Vegas, NV
Match #1: Sleazy Truth (Joey Ryan and Mat Taven, both accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Adrenaline Rush
- this match ended when Joey Ryan pinned ACH after a WALK-OFF.
- afterward, C&C Wrestle Factory appeared and announced ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has made a 3 way tag match involving them, Adrenaline Rush, and the Sleazy Truth at Open the Vegas Gate!
Backstage: Austin Aries approaches Caleb Konley. Aries tells Konley he is impressed with how Konley defeated AR Fox last week on ROV TV and then challenges Konley to a match at Open the Vegas Gate!
Match #2: Inner City Machine Guns defeated reDRagon
- after last week when interference from reDRagon (apparently upset that Inner City Machine Guns are getting the match instead of them against their enemies the American Wolves at Open the Vegas Gate) caused Ricochet and Rich Swann to lose to Adrenaline Rush on ROV TV, the Inner City Machine Guns got revenge when Ricochet pinned Kyle O'Reilly after a double rotation moonsault
- will the Inner City Machine Guns manage to defeat the ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves this weekend at Open the Vegas Gate?
Backstage: Larry Dallas and Su Yung are seen signing papers that will give Anthony Nese a permanent spot in Ring of Vegas even after this weekend's Open the Vegas Gate.
Match #3: Best Friends defeated the Bravados
- Best Friends won this match when Trent Baretta put away Lancelot Bravado via his DUDE BUSTER
Backstage: Kevin Steen tells McGuinness he will indeed agree to team up with his enemy El Generico against Best Friends at Open the Vegas Gate but when he as expected scores the winning pinfall he knows what stipulation he is going to ask for in his grudge match against El Generico next month at High Rollers!
Show #30: Open the Vegas Gate May 30th featuring both ROV and Dragon Gate wrestlers! 1. Johnny Gargano vs ROV Champion Roderick Strong (non-title) 2. ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves vs Inner City Machine Guns (non-title) 3. Chris Hero vs AR Fox 4. Kevin Steen and El Generico vs Best Friends 5. Uhaa Nation vs ROV TV Champion Michael Elgin (non-title) 6. Adam Cole vs Anthony Nese 7. Bravados vs Young Bucks 8. Austin Aries vs Caleb Konley 9. Adrenaline Rush vs C&C Wrestle Factory vs Sleazy Truth 10. more matches TBA
Match #4: ROV Champion Roderick Strong and ROV TV Champion Michael Elgin (both accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Johnny Gargano and Uhaa Nation
- just days before they face their respective opponents Gragano and Uhaa Nation in singles matches at Open the Vegas Gate, Strong and Elgin got the victory when Elgin pinned Gargano via his SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB after Strong got away with smashing Gargano in the back of the head with the Book of Truth.
End of Show. See you this weekend at Open the Vegas Gate!

Elgin v. Nation equals some serious power. I would have to wonder about the match quality. Both men look better booked against smaller guys. Having said that there is a Elgin v. Brodie Lee match from southern Ontario a few years ago that I checked out on you tube that was excellent. Great card so far Vegas

Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #30: Open the Vegas Gate May 30th, Year Two Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #6: Anthony Nese (managed by Larry Dallas) defeated Adam Cole
- a good match won by "the Premiere Athlete" after 2 consecutive successful 450 SPLASHES.
- Nese thus becomes the first Dragon Gate wrestler to defeat a ROV wrestler tonight but, as Dallas reminds the crowd, Nese has signed a contract to remain in Ring of Vegas after tonight
Match #7: Kevin Steen (accompanied by vOodOo kAos) and El Generico defeated Best Friends by DQ
- in their reluctant pairing together tonight on the orders of ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness, former tag team partners and now bitter enemies Steen and Generico were too dysfunctional as a unit by blind tagging each other in and refusing to willfully tag each other in as each sought to be the one to score the pinfall or submission on either Chuck Taylor or Trent Baretta in order to choose the stipulation for their grudge match against each other next month at High Rollers.
- this match ended when Steen was about to give Taylor a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER and Baretta attempted to save his fellow Best Friend via a flying forearm smash that accidentally instead hit the referee who called for the bell and DQd Best Friends. Now free of having to team with Generico, Steen then gave an unsuspecting Generico a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER before leaving the ring.
- The commentators comment that McGuinness's attempt to reunite Steen and Generico has obviously failed, but the question is now who gets to choose the stipulation for their match against each other at High Rollers since neither one of them scored a pinfall or submission in tonight's match.
Match #8: Chris Hero defeated AR Fox
- Fox dominated the action early, but Hero won this match via his LOADED ROLLING ELBOW.
- afterward, Hero demanded that McGuinness now give him a ROV Championship match at High Rollers
Match #9: ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves defeated Inner City Machine Guns in a non-title match
- Wolves win when Davey Richards forces Rich Swann to tap out to his ANKLE LOCK
Show #32: High Rollers June 27th ROV's biggest show of the Summer! matches TBA
Match #10: ROV Champion Roderick Strong (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Johnny Gargano in a non-title match
- despite some impressive offense by Gargano, Strong won via his STRONG HOLD
- as a result, Gargano does not get a ROV Championship match at High Rollers.
- as Strong, Martini, and the Hotties were celebrating in the ring, they were interrupted by the sudden appearance of AJ Styles who says he is making his ROV debut at High Rollers in a ROV Championship match against Strong!
End of Show

Open the Vegas Gate was a great show, Vegas. Looking forward to AJ Styles coming in to challenge Roderick Strong at High Rollers. I liked the split between Steen and Generico ending that already fragile partnership. I was happy to see Chris Hero and the American Wolves come up with big wins as well.
