A Solid SOULED OUT and I really liked the Taven & Strong count out ending, plus seeing Styles win is good stuff. Too bad AR Fox lost his match, but Elgin is a tough opponent...

I was also happy to see AJ Styles retain the ROV title beating Johnny Gargano. Great angle with Claudio Castagnoli & Sara Del Ray showing up to assist Chris Hero. I liked the debut of Daniels/Kazarian, American Wolves retaining the tag titles, and the funny note about Matt Taven going to VNA but them having their television deal in jeopardy. Hilarious. Souled Out was great and I also liked El Generico over Kevin Steen in the tables match plus the reveal of Border Wars in Tijuana, hometown of Generico! Also congrats on ROV TV episode #75 it looks like a great lineup. ROV continues to be one of my favorite feds.

I like that Border Wars will be in Tijuana. The kids from the orphanage should get comped tickets!

I like that Border Wars will be in Tijuana. The kids from the orphanage should get comped tickets! in his farewell speech to PWG last month at ELEVEN, Steen actually said the reason he was leaving was to help El Generico run his orphanage in Tijuana

BREAKING NEWS:
after Matt Taven and Roderick Strong battled to a double countout at Souled Out, ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has announced that the rematch between Taven and Strong at the 75th episode of ROV TV will now be a lumberjack match!

Business is certainly picking up in the tag team division. Like the lumberjack stipulation. It usually leads to some fun booking down the road. Styles v. Pearce should be amazing.

It is time for ROV's 2 hour special edition of ROV TV!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #75 July 28th, Year Two Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
In the Ring: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness
- McGuinness thanks everyone for watching Souled Out this past weekend and says ROV is moving right along by announcing the dates for the next two shows:
Border Wars- August 9th (in Tijuana)
Field of Vegas- August 16th (at Cashman Stadium)
- McGuinness then gets interrupted by Chris Hero who is accompanied by Claudio Castagnoli and Sara Del Rey who both interfered by making surprising appearances in Hero's no DQ match against Tommaso Ciampa at Souled Out to ensure Hero got the victory.
- Hero says he and Castagnoli are calling themselves the Kings of Wrestling since Castagnoli (who was briefly the first-ever ROV Champion) won the first King of the Ring of Vegas tournament and Hero claims he (Hero) should have won it this year instead of McGuinness snce Hero's foot was on the ropes when McGuinness got the victory.
- Kings of Wrestling say they want a match against McGuinness and Ciampa at Border Wars. McGuinness agrees but then tells Hero he has to wrestle Ciampa again at Field of Honor and, to ensure there will be no outside interference this time, that match will be inside a steel cage!
- Hero says he will fight Ciampa in a cage at Field of Vegas but then tells McGuinness that at some point McGuinness himself will also have to wrestle him (Hero) inside a steel cage before their differences can ever be settled.
Match #1: PPrAy defeated Young Bucks in a Summer Tag Classic match
- PPrAy picked up 2 points when Pretty Peter Avalon pinned Nick Jackson via MARTI-KNEES.
Backstage: Saraya Knight is offered a title shot against WOV Champion Cheerleader Melissa by McGuinness for winning Girls Just Wanna Have Funds. Suddenly, Del Rey appears and says she is targeting the WOV Championship to prove she is the true Queen of Wrestling and challenges Knight to a match at Border Wars with the stipulation that if Del Rey wins she gets added to the match of Melissa vs Knight for the WOV Championship the following week at Field of Vegas.
Match #2: AR Fox and Best Friends defeated Adam Cole and reDRagon
- this match was the first time Cole has teamed up with Kyle O'Reilly since they split up as Future Shock last year and then proceeded to feud with each other and tonight it was quite clear tensions between Cole and O'Reilly still existed and even led to a distracted O'Reilly getting pinned by Chuck Taylor via AWFUL WAFFLE.
- afterward, reDRagon took out their frustration over the loss on Cole as O'Reilly and Bobby Fish double teamed Cole before hitting him with CHASING THE DRAGON.
- afterward, O'Reilly suggested Cole try to find himself a tag team partner to take on reDRagon at Border Wars!
Backstage: TaDarius Thomas walks up to his enemy ACH. They each have one victory over the other and Thomas tells ACH their deciding match takes place at Border Wars!
Match #3: The Tribe defeated Los Banditos in a Summer Tag Classic
- this grudge match concluded the first round of the Summer Tag Classic. Los Banditos fought well and came close to winning, but the Tribe prevailed when Navajo Warrior pinned Rico Dynamite after RESERVATION DEVESTATION.
Backstage: McGuinness congratulates Fox and Best Friends for their victory tonight and says since Border Wars is happening in Mexico he plans on doing a lucha rules trios matchup and wants them in it- but not together. Instead, McGuinness says Fox will team up with the Inner City Machine Guns and Best Friends will team up with Chuck Taylor's other friend Johnny Gargano in the lucha rules trios match to open the show at Border Wars!
Match #4: ROV TV Champion Michael Elgin (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated ACH in a non-title match
- Elgin won a suplex into side slam
End of First Hour. Second Hour posted next.

Great stuff as always. Vegas always sets the bar on action. Saw Nigel McGuinness in the post office today (for real). I should have asked him how this card was.

Great stuff as always. Vegas always sets the bar on action. Saw Nigel McGuinness in the post office today (for real). I should have asked him how this card was. I tell you, the post office is an untapped resource for meeting celebs, and not just wrestlers! Aside from regular customers Mick Foley and Amish Roadkill, I have met ex-major leaguers Frank Catalanotto and John Habyan, NHL star Michael Kommisarek, and musicians John Petrucci of Dream Theater, Geoffrey Blythe from Black 47 and John Hampson from Nine Days.
