Great stuff as always. Vegas always sets the bar on action. Saw Nigel McGuinness in the post office today (for real). I should have asked him how this card was. That's awesome! I have been fortunate to meet Nigel a few times and he has always been really cool. On a side note, I really wish Nigel would bring back Race for the Ring. In addition to using many California wrestlers such as Willie Mack, Adam Pearce, Drake Younger, Joey Ryan, Candice Lerae, Timothy Thatcher, and Ryan Taylor, those shows were great for bringing in wrestlers from other parts of the country that West Coast fans usually did not get to see (at the Race for the Ring show I went to before last year's Summerslam, it was my first time ever seeing guys wrestle live such as Drew Gulak, Jamin Olivencia, Pepper Parks, and Kyle Matthdews and afterward in the hotel bar I got to meet DJ Hyde, BJ Whitmer, and Larry Legend.) Plus with all matches being 10 minute iron mans, it was a unique method for a tournament and it created lots of intensity as the digital clock ran closer and closer to zero. And based on the big checks photographed from the ring and then posted online, it seemed like those shows through Wrestling Cares generated lots of money for local California charities. Nigel had a great and innovative idea with Race for the Ring and I really hope it happens again.

Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #75 July 28th, Year Two Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First half is posted on previous page)
In the Ring: ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves on one side and Christopher Daniels and Kazarian on the other side.
- McGuinness announces that if Daniels and Kazarian win this non-title match against the Wolves, they will receive a future ROV Tag Team Championship match!
Match #5: Christopher Daniels and Kazarian defeated ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves in a non-title match
- a good tag match which ended with Daniels putting away Davey Richards via Last Rites
- as a result, Daniels and Kazarian receive an upcoming ROV Tag Team Championship match
Backstage: Roderick Strong with ROV TV Champion Michael Elgin
- Elgin points out to Strong that, while Strong blamed him (Elgin) for Truth Martini not being at ringside when Strong lost the ROV Championship to AJ Styles at High Rollers, Elgin proved he did not need Martini at ringside to defeat Matt Taven at Souled Out (Martini had been knocked unconscious by Taven during the match) last weekend.
- Elgin and Strong get in each other's face and are once again separated by Truth Martini who tells Strong to get ready for his lumberjack match tonight against Taven and that both Elgin and Joey Ryan from the HOT will be in Strong's corner as two of the lumberjacks.
Match #6: ROV Champion AJ Styles defeated Vegas Champion Adam Pearce in a non-title match
- Pearce put up a good fight but Styles prevailed via his STYLES CLASH
- afterward, Larry Dallas appeared and announced he had a ROV Championship match at Border Wars signed for his new client who turned out to be Austin Aries as Aries has apparently accepted the offer Dallas made to him at Souled Out!
Promo: Coming soon to Ring of Vegas- the Forever Hooligans!
Match #7: Kevin Steen (accompanied by vOodOo kAos) defeated El Generico
- Steen won this grudge match via his F-CINQ
- afterward, as the winner, Steen per match stipulation got to announce the stipulation for his match against El Generico at Border Wars. Steen announced, since this match is taking place in Tijuana, their match will be a Luchas de Apuestas match!
- as Steen left the ring, this left the TV announcers to wonder aloud what will be on the line in this Luchas de Apuestas match?
Border Wars promo Show #35: Border Wars August 9th Year 2 Tijuana, Mexico 1. El Generico vs Kevin Steen (Luchas de Apuestas match) 2. ROV Champion AJ Styles vs Austin Aries 3. - the lumberjacks for this match were Elgin, Joey Ryan, Anthony Nese, Johnny Gargano, Inner City Machine Guns, ACH, TaDarius Thomas, Willie Mack, Scorpio Sky, C&C Wrestle Factory, RockNES Monsters, Terex, and Ryan Taylor
- at one point in the match, Strong went for a jumping knee strike/rolling elbow against Taven in the corner, but Taven got out of the way and Strong instead hit Elgin as the TV announcers speculate Strong may have hit Elgin on purpose there
- at one point in the match, Strong got tossed outside of the ring where Mack immediately and harshly threw him back into the ring which caused Strong to yell threats at Mack.
- the match ended when enemies ACH and Thomas got into a brawl outside of the ring which soon spread to the rest of the lumberjacks. Taven got distracted by the outside mayhem allowing Strong to score the victory via his STRONGHOLD
- afterward, Taven explained that his last ROV match was supposed to be last weekend at Souled Out but since that match ended in a double countout and his ROV contract doesn't actually expire until the end of July, he requested and received this one last match against Strong.
- Taven then thanked the fans and everyone at ROV as he makes his departure to go to VNA.
End of Show.

Congrats on Episode 75, Vegas, and what a great show. Strong vs. Taven was a nice way for Taven to go out even in a losing effort. I was psyched to see Daniels & Kazarian beat the Wolves in non-title action along with Austin Aries being set up as the next challenger to AJ Styles for the ROV title. Both Border Wars and Field of Vegas are looking great. I can't wait to see what is on the line between Steen and Generico.

I agree with Crue, but I was pulling for Adam Pearce to have won over AJ Styles...

BREAKING NEWS: For the Luchas de Apuestas match at Border Wars, it has been revealed that Kevin Steen will risk his hair on condition that El Generico risk his mask!
El Generico has agreed to these terms, provided that 20 of the orphans from his orphanage in Tijuana get front row seats to Border Wars in Tijuana.
In other news, the final deciding grudge match between ACH and TaDarius Thomas- who are currently tied at one win each against the other- will now be a best 2 out of 3 falls match.

5 days before Border Wars!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #76 August 4th, Year Two Las Vegas, NV
Match #1: ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves defeated Young Bucks in a non-title match
- before this match started, the Bucks (currently 0-2 in CWFV's Summer Tag Classic,) said they want to challenge the Vegas Tag Team Champions RockNES Monsters to a non-title match at Border Wars to prove they deserve a Vegas Tag Team Championship match despite having 0 points in the Summer Tag Classic.
- in this rematch from Souled Out, the Wolves once again defeated the Buck as Eddie Edwards pinned Nick Jackson after a missile dropkick
- afterward, ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness appeared and said he would grant the Bucks a non-title match against the RockNES Monsters at Border Wars if CWFH's David Marquez agrees and then told the Wolves at Border Wars they will wrestle the debuting Forever Hooligans in a non-title match with the Hooligans getting a future title shot if they defeat the Wolves!
Backstage: Larry Dallas tells Anthony Nese that, as promised, he has gotten him a match at Border Wars and it will be another shot against Michael Elgin and the ROV TV Championship which means both of Dallas's clients (Nese and Austin Aries) have title shots at Border Wars.
Match #2: Adam Cole defeated Bobby Fish (accompanied by Kyle O'Reilly)
- before the match started, Fish and O'Reilly asked if Cole had found a tag team partner yet to team with him against them at Border Wars and Cole said not yet.
- Cole won this match via his FLYING CROSSBODY
- afterward, an angry reDRagon double teamed Cole until Scorpio Sky ran into the ring to make the save with a steel chair. Cole then asked Sky to team with him against reDRagon at Border Wars and Sky accepted Cole's offer.
Backstage: Roderick Strong is interviewed by Veda Scott. Strong says he did not appreciate how Willie Mack threw him hard back into the ring during last week's lumberjack match and that is why he jumped Mack 3 days later on Championship Wrestling from Vegas and why he is now looking forward to facing Mack in a match at Border Wars.
Match #3: Tommaso Ciampa (accompanied by Nigel McGuinness) defeated Claudio Castagnoli (accompanied by Chris Hero and Sara Del Rey)
- 5 days before McGuinness and Ciampa take on the Kings of Wrestling at Border Wars, Ciampa got the win over Castagnoli via PROJECT CIAMPA.

It's now time for Border Wars taking place in Tijuana!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #35: Border Wars August 9th, Year Two Tijuana, Mexico (First Half of show)
Preshow Match: Young Bucks defeated Vegas Tag Team Champions RockNES Monsters in a non-title match
- although non-title, this match turned into a war of a preshow match with the Bucks finally pulling out the victory when Nick Jackson pinned Johnny Goodtime after MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK.
Match #1: AR Fox and the Inner City Machine Guns defeated Johnny Gargano and Best Friends in a lucha rules trios match
- a great opening match with lots of high flying action. Gargano and Chuck Taylor at times did not seem to be on the same page as Gargano appeared upset that Taylor right now considers Trent Barreta his Best Friend. The match ended when Ricochet pinned his fellow Kentuckian, Taylor, after a shooting star press.
Match #2: Sara Del Rey defeated Saraya Kight
- in this Women of Vegas matchup, Del Rey survived a near quick victory by Knight to recover and get the win via a release German suplex.
- as a result, Del Rey gets added to the WOV Championship match next weekend between WOV Champion Cheerleader Melissa and Knight at Field of Vegas.
Match #3: ACH defeated TaDarius Thomas in a best 2 out of 3 falls match
- former tag team partners together as Adrenaline Rush and now current enemies, ACH and Thomas entered this deciding best 2 out of 3 falls grudge match at 1 win apiece.
- First Fall: - despite some trouble form Thomas, ACH won this fall via Tiger Mask.
- Second Fall: - ACH won this fall via BIG BANG ATTACK
- as a result, ACH won this match decisively at 2-0 and thus wins his feud against Thomas.
Match #4: Roderick Strong (accompanied by Truth Martin and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Willie Mack
- before this grudge match started, Martini announced that he has secured a WOV Tag Team Championship match for the Hoopla Hotties, as a result of them winning the tag tournament at Girls Just Wanna Have Funds, this Monday on ROV TV!
- Mack gave Strong some problems but the match ended when Strong pinned Mack via a backbreaker on turnbuckle as Martini got away with holding down Mack's legs during the pinfall to prevent Mack from kicking out.
- afterward, an angry Mack cornered Martini alone in the ring and took him out with a CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMB!
Match #5: reDRagon defeated Adam Cole and Scorpio Sky
- Cole and Sky together kept Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly on the defensive for a good portion of the match but the end came when O'Reilly threw some type of powder in Sky's face and Fish then put away a blinded Sky via FISH HOOK.
- afterward, Cole started to check on Sky but then shocked everyone by walking away from Sky who earlier in the week had come to Cole's aid during a double team attack by reDRagon on ROV TV.
Intermission. Second Half posted next.

Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #35: Border WarsAugust 9th, Year Two Tijuana, Mexico (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)Match #6: Anthony Nese (accompanied by Larry Dallas and Su Yung) defeated ROV TV Champion Michael Elgin- because of the CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMB he received from Willie Mack in the first half of the show, Truth Martini was unable to accompany Elgin to ringside for this title defense - this match ended when Elgin's fellow House of Truth member Roderick Strong appeared and once again offered mock applause and encouragement to Elgin which distracted Elgin and allowed Nese to regain the offensive and, after 3 consecutive REVERSE PILEDRIVERS, get the victory over Elgin. - as a result, Nese is the new ROV TV Champion! - an angry Elgin got up and chased Strong to the back Match #7: Kings of Wrestling (accompanied by Sara Del Rey) defeated ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness and Tommaso Ciampa - in what would prove to be the match of the night, KOW got the victory when Chris Hero got the win over his enemy McGuinness via Hangman's Elbow. Match #8: Forever Hooligans defeated ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves in a non-title match- this match marked the ROV debuts of the Forever Hooligans who have been making a name for themselves over in Japan. - this match ended when Alex Koslov put away Davey Richards after CONTRACT KILLER - as a result, the Forever Hooligans have earned a future ROV Tag Team Championship match just like the team of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian who defeated the Wolves in a non-title match last month at Souled Out. Match #9: ROV Champion AJ Styles defeated Austin Aries (accompanied by Larry Dallas and Su Yung) - Styles won via Spiral Tap to retain the ROV Championship and thus prevent Dallas from going 2-0 tonight in title shots for his clients In the Ring: Randy Savage - Savage reminds everyone that he will be making his ROV return next month at Debauchery Before Dishonor (a show available for only $8.88 ) and said he wants to introduce his opponent for Debauchery Before Dishonor- Brutus Beefcake! {Promoter's Note: I will be using the new color card for Beefcake here in ROV} Field of Vegas promoShow #36: Field of Vegas August 16, Year 2 Cashman Stadium Las Vegas, NV 1. End of Show.
