Border Wars was good stuff and I liked that Anthony Nese winning the ROH TV strap the way he did, but too bad Aries failed to beat Styles. I really liked seeing Beefcake show up at the end to help El Generico in shaving Steen...

I really liked seeing Beefcake show up at the end to help El Generico in shaving Steen... I agree with Crimson on all counts, Border Wars was a solid show Vegas. I liked the note about how you were prepared to have El Generico unmask as Sami Zayne if he had lost. That would definitely have worked either way but I'm happy he won and that we got to see Brutus Beefcake use the clippers on Kevin Steen. Classic!

Border Wars was really solid. Truth gets taken out. Unbreakable is broken with some help from Strong and the main event sends the fans home celebrating. Beefcake added some nostalgia but he is going to packaged piledrived into oblivion down the road.

2 days after Border Wars and 5 days before Field of Vegas!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #77 August 11th, Year Two Las Vegas, NV
In the Ring: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness
McGuinness makes several announcements:
- Tommaso Ciampa is wished luck in his steel cage match against Chris Hero this weekend at Field of Vegas which you can order for only $8.88!
- former ROV TV Champion Michael Elgin will challenge ROV Champion AJ Styles this weekend at Field of Vegas which you can order for only $8.88!!
- the winner of tonight's match between ACH and AR Fox will receive a ROV TV Championship match at Field of Vegas, which you can order for only $8.88, against new ROV TV Champion Anthony Nese!
- McGuinness then introduces Nese who 2 days ago won the ROV TV Championship from Elgin at Border Wars.
- Nese is accompanied by Larry Dallas and Su Yung. Dallas says it is only appropriate that the Premiere Athlete will make his first title defense at a pro sports facility like Cashman Stadium this weekend at Field of Vegas and that hopefully the ROV fans are not too cheap or ignorant to spend $8.88 to order Field of Vegas and says it does not matter whether ACH or Fox wins the title shot because neither one of them is an athlete such as Nese.
Match #1: Best Friends defeated Inner City Machine Guns
- Chuck Taylor pinned Rich Swann via a deathjump
- afterward, Johnny Gargano (who was clearly upset at Border Wars about the strong friendship between Taylor and Trent Barreta) appeared and challenged Barreta to a match at Field of Vegas!
Backstage: Michael Elgin tells Truth Martini he is leaving the House of Truth after Roderick Strong's actions at Border wars caused him (Elgin) to lose the ROV TV Championship. Martini pleads to keep the only remaining original HOT member but Elgin walks away. Strong then walks in upset at Martini that Elgin instead of him is being awarded the ROV Championship match at Field of Vegas despite Elgin losing his match and Strong winning his match this weekend. Strong tells Martini he is on strike from the HOT and walks off after vowing to sit at ringside while drinking beer at Field of Vegas and watch Elgin's ROV Championship match against Styles.
Match #2: AR Fox defeated ACH
- Fox won via a kick flip-dive and as a result gets to challenge Nese for the ROV TV Championship at Field of Vegas!
Backstage: Martini approaches Adam Cole. Martini tells Cole he has been watching his matches for awhile and believes he can turn Cole's career around if Cole will join the House of Truth. Cole says right now it looks like the House of Truth is imploding so he will have to think about it.
In the Ring: a bald Kevin Steen and vOodOo kAos
- Steen (who got his head shaved by Brutus Beefcake after losing a mask vs hair match vs El Generico in the main event at Border Wars) says he wants to get his hands on Beefcake and challenges Generico and Beefcake to a tag match against him (Steen) and kAos at Field of Vegas!
Match #3: Forever Hooligans defeated Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian
- Alex Koslov put away Kazarian via Red Scare I.
- afterward, McGuinness appeared and said, since both Daniels/Kazarian and the Hooligans have earned ROV Tag Team Championship matches by recently defeating the ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves in non-title matches, at Debauchery Before Dishonor it will be American Wolves vs Forever Hooligans vs Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian in an elimination tag match for the ROV Tag Team Championship! With victories in the past two days over both the Wolves (at Border Wars) and Daniels/Kazarian (tonight,) it appears the Hooligans will be the favorites at the sports book in this upcoming match.
Backstage: Joey Ryan approaches Christina Von Eerie.
- Joey Ryan: "Christina, I've lost my phone number. Can I borrow yours?"
- Von Eerie: "Joey, you are about to become one of my contacts." Von Eerie then kicks Joey Ryan in the crotch and continues walking down the hall.

- Second Fall: a great fall won by the Hotties when McKay put away LuFisto via BOYFRIEND STEALER. Tied 1-1.
- Third/Final Fall: Rush pinned CVE via OLYMPIC SLAM.
- as a result, the Hoopla Hotties are the new WOV Tag Team Champions!

I am ready for Field of Vegas and it is a steal at just $8.88! Another great edition of ROV TV. I did not expect the Hoopla Hotties to win the tag titles from the Women of Violence. Truth Martini needed that after the bad night he had losing Michael Elgin and possibly Roderick Strong. The backstage angle with Von Eerie and Joey Ryan was very funny. ROV continues to present great shows and storylines, I am hooked for sure.

Field of Vegas should fun. Styles v. Elgin could be awesome but might be overbooked with Strong at ringside. WOV match is my dark horse pick to steal the show.
