Thanks for the comments Pariah! Yeah the Punk/Aries match was great to play. There was so much happening and it turned out great. A rematch is about to happen.
ROH Conquest April 25, 2015 Eisenhower Community Center, Hopkins MN
Welcome to Conquest! Tonight we have six stellar matches for you, and we dont want to waste anymore time talking, let's hit the ring!
2 Cold Scorpio vs Rhino This was a good opener. Scorpio used his speed to counter Rhinos power, but as is the case power won out. When Scorpio would try flying Rhino would swat him out of the air and do some power moves, then Scorpio would counter out of those and take to the air again. Then Scorpio got cute and tried to hit something from the top. Rhino got wise to that however and tossed Scorpio right back into the ring. As Scorpio was getting back to his feet, Rhino was crouched in the corner setting Scorpio up. As 2 Cold turned around Rhino shot out of the corner and tore Scorpio in half with a GORE! That was all she wrote as Rhino picked up the win.
ROH World Tag Team Title Match The Kings of Wrestling w/Sara Del Rey vs The Age of The Fall(c) This was the quickest Tag Title match yet! Claudio and Jimmy never got into the match at all. Black controlled Hero for a hot minute until Hero countered something and he went on the attack. After a Hangman's Elbow Hero went for the pin. Tyler had the good sense to cradle Hero up and reverse the pinfall but Hero kicked out. Then Black just blasted Hero on a suicide dive and quickly got him back into the ring. Before anybody knew what was happening Black went for the pin and Hero did not kick out. The Age of The Fall have now entered 11 months as Tag Team Champions.
Roderick Strong vs Silas Young Roddy came into this match 0-2 since his return. He wanted yet another match with Young since Silas was the one to beat him before he left the first time. What we got was a very aggressive Roderick Strong taking it to Silas Young, and Young giving it right back. Both men went back and forth with each other and it made for an interesting match. Then they went outside which never ends well. The Acme table company must have stock in ROH because both men brawled near the announce table, until Silas grabbed Roddy and destroyed him through the table with a stun gun. The ref had no choice but to call for the DQ. It appears that this feud must continue.
CM Punk vs Austin Aries After last week Punk was not messing around tonight. He went after Aries right at the bell and would not let up. In short order Aries was down after an inverted facelock neckbreaker. Punk followed that up by dragging the limp form of Aries over to a corner and lifting him up. Punk then flattened Aries with one PEPSI PLUNGE and got the quick win.
ROH World TV Title Match Matt Sydal vs Jay Lethal(c) w/Truth Martini Things went along well in this match for awhile. Sydal took control at the start and did what he could to take the title from Lethal. He hit a few moves then went to the top and tried to end things early with a SHOOTING SYDAL PRESS. Lethal was not worn down enough and at the last second Jay moved out of the way and Sydal crashed hard. From that point on the match belonged to Jay Lethal. It appeared that Sydal injured himself when he crashed but Lethal stayed ontop of him and never let Matt get any offense in after that. Sensing victory Lethal shot Sydal into the ropes and ended the night with a LETHAL INJECTION to once again retain the TV Title.
ROH World Heavyweight Title Cage Wars Match Kevin Steen vs Michael Elgin(c) Wow, Michael Elgin just brutalized Kevin Steen! Steen tried everything in his power to get the title back but Elgin would not allow him any offense. It was not long at all before Steen was bleeding heavily and Elgin just smiled at this. Steen was somehow able to kick out of an ELGIN BOMB but that just cause Elgin to inflict even more hurt and pain on Steen. Steen saw all four cage walls and it was not pretty. Finally Elgin was sick and tired of messing around and picked up Steen on his shoulder. Elgin got a running start and lawn darted Kevin right into the cage. Steen crumpled to the mat in a heap and Elgin just rolled Steen over and placed his foot on Steens chest. The ref was not happy about it but he counted the three and Michael Elgin has dispatched of Kevin Steen and retained the ROH World Title.
We will see you all next week for ROH TV!

Haha! Nice win by Punk... Maybe we'll be treated to a rubber match between him and Aries...
Huge congrats to Age of the Fall... An 11 month title reign is exceptional...
The main event left a bit to be desired, as Elgin squashed Steen inside the cage... The preceding TV title match fortunately made up for it... Solid effort by 'Reborn' Matt Sydal, but Lethal was in the zone...
As usual, great stuff... Lots of fun!

There is a possibility for a rubber match down the road for Punk and A Double, not sure when yet. I actually had to go back to see when Black and Jacobs won the titles and make sure they didnt lose then, so I was surprised that it had been 11 months, but it is a good thing. I really didnt like that main event myself. I was hoping for a nice brutal match, but the dice just werent in favor of Kevin Steen. Now I will go back to building Steen up again and possibly challenging for the title down the road. As always thanks for the comments and for reading!

ROH TV #95 May 2, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
ROH TV starts off with the champion Michael Elgin already in the ring.
ME: "Kevin Steen, I said that I would take you out in Cage Wars, and in fact I did more than just take you out. I destroyed you! It feels so good to now be rid of you and I can no focus on Border Wars....
BD: "I am so glad you brought up Border Wars Elgin!" Bryan Danielson came out and interupted Elgin. "See Michael you are in need of an opponent, and since it was you who originally beat me for the ROH Title, I think it only seems fair that I get to return the favor to you."
ME: "Bryan what makes you think that you even deserve a chance at MY title. Last time I checked you were not even in contention for me. You did lose to Kyle O'Reilly a couple of weeks ago. However I am a sporting man, so I will give you a chance. Should you beat Brian Cage tonight, then you will get your shot at Border Wars. But when you lose you stay at the bottom of the ladder." BD: "It is a deal, I will see you are Border Wars!"
Forever Hooligans vs The Young Bucks The Buck were back from Japan and looking really good. Their first match back was against Forever Hooligans. Koslov and Romero dominated Nick at the start of the match and early on it looked like curtains for The Bucks after Nick was hit with CONTRACT KILLER but Matt made the save in time. Nick finally made the tag to Matt and it was all Bucks from that point on. Romero never got back into the match as Matt and Nick isolated Koslov and eventually finished him off with MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK.
ACH vs Chris Sabin This was the debut of Chris Sabin in ROH. Sabin controlled for the majority of the match and took ACH out with HAIL SABIN, but ACH was able to kick out. Upset at this Sabin tossed ACH outside and grabbed a chair. Ignoring the ref Sabin blasted ACH with the chair and was instantly DQed.
Cedric Alexander vs El Generico Going into this match Cedric was looking to get another crack at Jay Lethal and his TV Title, while El Generico was looking to get into contention for the title himself. What we got was a great match. Generico controlled at first and did what he could to keep Cedric from making a comeback. Cedric did make his comeback and he was all over Generico from then on. Generico tried everything in his playbook but Alexander kept him grounded. El Generico did manage to kick out of 4 LUMBAR CHECKS, which frustrated Alexander to no end. In the end Cedric planted Generico with an Overtime and that was finally enough for the win.
Bryan Danielson vs Brian Cage The American Dragon was fired up tonight. He was hell bent on winning this match and facing Elgin at Border Wars. Cage did everything he could think of to take Danielson out, but Danielson would not be denied. Cage made a big mistake which Danielson capitalized on and then Dragon just suplexed and kicked the crap out of Cage. Dragon Suplexes, Tiger Suplexes, kicks every which way, Cage just had no clue what was happening to him. After one nasty Dragon Suplex Cage was down so Danielson stepped over him and hooked up the arms. Danielson flipped himself over and got Cage locked in CATTLE MUTILATION. Brian Cage had no where to go and finally had to submit. Bryan Danielson will now go to Border Wars and challenge Michael Elgin for the ROH World Title!
We will see you next week!

Finally back and with post number 1000 begins ROH TV!
ROH TV #96 May 9, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
ROH TV begins with the Wolves coming down to the ring for a tag match. Once they are announced different music plays and Maria comes out to the entrance way. M: "Well hello there ROH Universe, I am finally back from Japan, and from the looks of things around here, I was not missed. Anyway, while I was in Japan, Mike did great in the G1 Climax tournament. Following that we stayed around for a bit longer and gained a partner. So join me in welcoming back the IWGP Tag Team Champions, My man Michael Bennett, and Matt Taven, We are THE KINGDOM!" Naturally the crowd boos the crap out of Bennett when he comes out, but they are surprised by Taven joining up with him. Neither man cares as they head for the ring.
The American Wolves vs The Kingdom w/Maria What an opening match! The Kingdom just back from Japan looking to get going back in the states and with Maria by their side, it could happen. Both teams tore each other apart. The Wolves controlled the opening portion of the match and tried to put Taven away at first, but Bennett made the save. Eddied continued the pounding and nailed Taven with DIE HARD. As he went for the pin Maria got up on the apron and distracted everybody. The ref was in no mood for her antics so he banished Maria from ringside. Her throwing a fit and leaving allowed Taven to get back into the match. It did not last long however as Richards got the tag and finished what Eddie started. Eventually Matt was locked in an ANKLE LOCK, and Taven was screaming in pain. Bennett tried to help his partner but Eddie cut him off and Matt finally had to tap. As of now The Kingdom is 0-1.
Rhino vs Ethan Page This was a wild brawl of a match. Both Page and Rhino ripped into each other and never let up. Pretty soon however both men landed outside and continued to brawl all around the ring. Then Ethan picked up a chair and prepared to strike Rhino with it. The ref then jumped out and tried to convince Page to put the chair down. Page was having none of that however and brought the chair down right on Rhinos back. The ref had no choice but to call for the DQ.
ACH vs Adam Page ACH was back again this week, and himself looking for a shot at the TV title, Page was in his second match just looking for a win. It turned out that ACH dominated Adam Page at every turn. Page tried his hardest but just could not string enough moves together to make a comeback. In no time at all ACH launched at Adam and planted him with a BIG BANG ATTACK to pick up the victory.
Rhett Titus vs Michael Elgin Given that Elgin had to once again face Bryan Danielson at Border Wars, he was in a very foul mood tonight and elected to take out his frustration on Rhett Titus. The only problem was Titus had control for the majority of the match. He blasted Elgin all over the ring, and on 2 occasions almost got the win. After the second time Elgin got angry and went to work. He destroyed Titus in record time, before eventually making Titus a stain on the mat with an ELGIN BOMB.
We will see you next week!

ROH TV #97 May 16, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
We are two weeks away from Border Wars and the action is just heating up. Tonight we crown a new number 1 contender for the TV Title, as well as new opponents for the Tag Team titles, plus more. Lets get to it!
The American Wolves vs The Young Bucks This was sure a quick match. Nick and Davey started off, and it looked like Nick was going to control. Davey made a quick comeback and did what he could, before Nick got the advantage back and tagged in Matt. 1 minute later Davey nailed Matt in the face with a kick and then did a multiple suplex assault. Davey went for the pin after that and for some reason Matt did not kick out. In less than five minutes The Wolves pick up the win and will go to Border Wars and take on The Age of The Fall. (Matt rolled snake eyes.)
Samoa Joe vs Mike Mondo Mondo had an advantage over Joe for a hot minute before Joe went ape and started punching and kicked the crap out of poor Mike. Mondo did survive a powerbomb but that was all a set up for Joe to lock in his REAR NAKED CHOKE. Mondo was tapping like a drunk man in no time at all.
Number 1 contender match for ROH TV Title ACH vs Cedric Alexander This was a great contender match! ACH was looking to get his first crack at Jay Lethal, but Cedric was standing in his way. What we got was wonderful. ACH flipped and flew, while Alexander tried to keep him grounded. Once they settled into a rhythm though it was ACH who controlled the entire match and flipped and flew all over Cedric. At times it seemed that Cedric had no idea where ACH was going to be next, and it cost him the match. Out of no where ACH nailed Cedric with a Dragon Fly and that was enough to get the three count! ACH will go to Border Wars and fight for the World TV Title!
Chris Hero vs Bryan Danielson The American Dragon was looking to keep his momentum going heading into Border Wars. Hero was here to play spoiler. Both guys kicked and punched, and elbowed the ever loving crap out of each other and then some. Danielson did make a couple of mistakes that almost cost him the match and allowed Hero to hit 2 consecutive CYCLONE KILLS but Bryan got the shoulder up both times. Hero continued his frantic pace and when Danielson could take no more Hero blasted him with a DEATHBLOW and got the win. How much will this loss hurt Bryan Danielson? Only time will tell.
Join us next week for more action!

ROH TV #98 May 23, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
We are one week from Border Wars, and all of the Champs are in the house! No more time wasting let's hit the ring!
The Second City Saints vs The Age of The Fall During this match Truth Martini was seen standing by the entrance way observing. Black and Jacobs did what they do best, and that is win. They just picked Punk apart the entire match and never once did Colt get in on the action. Black started off and beat Punk down for a bit, then tagged in Jimmy to finish up. Jacobs picked Punk apart piece by piece, until he decided to pull out his trusty spike. While Black distracted the ref Jacobs blasted Punk right in the face with the RAILROAD SPIKE and went for the pin. Black was too quick for Colt and the ref counted the three. On the outside Truth had a slight smile on his face as he just walked away.
AJ Styles vs Kyle O'Reilly Wow, AJ never got any offense in during this match. It was all O'Reilly right at the bell. Kyle went all MMA on Styles at the start and AJ was on the defensive the rest of the way. Kyle then started to work on the arm of Styles and used that method the entire match. AJ had no where to turn as Kyle just picked apart everything. Kyle then locked Styles into ARMAGEDDON but somehow AJ made it to the ropes. Kyle just decided to drag AJ back to the center of the ring and reapply ARMAGEDDON. This time AJ fought with everything he had, but finally tapped out.
El Generico vs Jay Lethal w/Truth Martini This was a wild and intense match! Neither man left anything to chance. Generico and Lethal brutalized each other and the fans ate up everything. In the middle of the match however Lethal had Generico locked in a KOJI CLUTCH. Just when it looked like El Generico was going to tap he managed to roll over just enough that Lethals shoulders were on the mat and the ref made his count. Lethal let go just in time and got his shoulder up. Then both men started brawling and they spilled out of the ring. Naturally the ref tried to get between them and get both men back into the ring. Lethal didnt like that at all and shoved the ref roughly aside to continue his brawling. The ref had no choice but to DQ Lethal and even Truth wasnt happy.
Austin Aries vs Michael Elgin Once again Elgin was not happy, and he took it out on A Double. Aries tried everything he could to take Elgin down, but BigMike wasnt in the mood. Elgin then took over and beat Aries down and practically into a bloody pulp. Aries did kick out of one ELGIN BOMB, so Elgin picked him back up and did another ELGIN BOMB. Aries again kicked out. Elgin pounded Austin down a bit more and hit a third ELGIN BOMB. Again Aries just kicked out. That is when Mike made his mistake and Aries managed a quick comeback. Austin kicked Elgin around for awhile and eventually got him on the ground with a Crucifix Bomb. Sensing he could win Aries went to the top. Austin came off with a brilliant 450 SPLASH but Elgin moved at the last second and Aries crashed hard. Elgin right away locked Aries in a crossface submission, and that had Aries tapping in no time. It appears that Michael Elgin has all the momentum heading into Border Wars.
We will see you next week at Border Wars!

Border Wars May 30, 2015 Ted Reeve Arena - Toronto, Ontario
Welcome to Border Wars! We have plenty of action for you tonight and of course all three titles are on the line so it is time to hit the ring!
Delirious vs Ethan Page This was a pretty decent opener. The crazy and wild Delirious vs the hometown canadian in Ethan Page. Naturally Delirious did everything he could to throw Page off his game and for awhile it worked, because The Incoherent One went to work on Page for a good portion of the match. One Ethan made a comeback though Delirious almost seemed to let Page have his way with him. Page check Delirious on the chin with multiple superkicks and went for a pin each time, but Delirious kicked out, and was enjoyed this beat down. As Page was lifting Delirious to his feet preparing for another move Delirious almost got Page full in the face with RED POISION, but Page dodged it to an extent and was able to kick out. From there the match was all Delirious though and he was manically laughing and babbling the rest of the way to pounding down on Ethan Page until again unseen by the ref got Page straight in the face with RED POISION and this time picked up the three.
QT Marshall w/RD Evans vs Roderick Strong Wow, Roddy was supposed to have an easy time with QT, but that was not the case. Marshall dominated this match like we have never seen him before. Everything Strong tried Marshall countered and he continued on his tear. Finally Roddy had enough and made his grand comeback before wiping the mat with QT. All RD Evans could do was look on as Strong took Marshall apart piece by piece. Then to finish things off Strong hit QT with END OF HEARTACHE and picked up the victory.
ROH World Tag Team Title Match The American Wolves vs The Age of The Fall(c) This was a pretty good match until the end. Both teams were going back and forth with each other trying to gain the win. Jacobs hit Eddie with END OF TIME 3 different times, but he managed to kick out every time. Then Eddie made the tag to Davey and Davey went on a hot streak. Richards then nailed Jacobs with kicked to death and went for the pin. Suddenly Truth Martini ran down and jumped up on the apron. With the ref destracted by Truth, he slipped the Book of Truth to Jimmy who planted it right between the eyes of Davey Richards. Finally Truth jumped down and the ref turned around to see Jacobs covering Richards. As Tyler Black cut Eddie off the ref made the three count. The Age of the Fall have just entered One Year as Tag Team Champions. Truth jumped into the ring following the match and handed both men their belts then held out his hand and smiled his devilish smile. Black and Jacobs looked at each other at first then both smiled and hugged Truth Martini. With the fans raining down the boos Truth has now added the Tag Champs to his House.
Matt Sydal vs Chris Sabin This was a good match as well. Both men know each other so well and it made for a fluid and exciting match. Sydal controlled for awhile until he made his one mistake and allowed Sabin to kick it into gear. Sabin never looked back after that mistake and took Sydal to task. Somehow Sabin was able to hit Matt with CRADLE SHOCK but Sydal kicked out. Chris then hit his first HAIL SABIN, but again Sydal got the shoulder up. Sabin right away hit yet another HAIL SABIN and again Sydal kicked out. Sabin was really frustrated now and got more aggressive. After some more pounding down Sabin lifted Matt up and blasted him with one final HAIL SABIN, and this time Sydal did not kick out.
ROH World TV Title Match ACH vs Jay Lethal(c) w/Truth Martini What a fantastic match! ACH did everything in his power to wrest the TV title away from Jay Lethal. But naturally Truth was there to mess things up. 3 minutes in though ACH hit Lethal with his BIG BANG ATTACK and went for the pin. Truth though was right there jumping up to distract him. ACH had the good sense to after first get up, but then decided to ignore Martini and he went back on the attack. Eventually though Jay made his own comeback and kicked and punch, and suplexed the crap out of ACH. Amazingly not even a KOJI CLUTCH or LETHAL INJECTION would finish ACH off. Frustrated at this turn of events Lethal went into extreme mode and beat ACH down even more, then with ACH out on his feet, Lethal nailed a Lethal Combination and that got the three count. Truth was a happy man, and Jay Lethal has now been TV Champion for 4 months.
ROH World Heavyweight Title Match Bryan Danielson vs Michael Elgin(c) Wow, what a disappointment of a match. It lasted all of 45 seconds. Danielson jumped out of the gate at the bell and blasted Elgin. Then Bryan hit a Tiger Suplex. Elgin rolled out to the floor to take a powder and Danielson followed him out. That is when the brawl started. Both men punched and kicked and fought all over the ringside area. The ref was wise to stay in the ring but had no choice but to count. Eventually he got to 20 and was forced to count both men out who were still ignoring him and fighting all the way to the back. The fans were really unhappy with this result and when no resolution was forthcoming booed even louder.
We will see you next week on ROH TV!

ROH TV #99 June 6, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
Welcome to ROH TV! Tonight we have fallout from Border Wars as well as the start of the Top Prospect Tournament! Also next week is the historic 100th episode of ROH TV! It is being labeled as Championship night, as all three titles will be defended. Nigel has stated that the Champions can decided who their opponents will be for that night, however they are not to choose somebody that they think will be an easy win or Nigel himself will decide the opponent. Enough talk it is time to hit the ring!
Top Prospect Tournament Round 1 Dalton Castle vs Ricky Starks Wow what a quick opener! Castle opened the match on fire and dominated Starks. Starks never got out of the gate as Castle took him down with a belly to belly suplex. As Starks got up Castle planted him with another belly to belly. Starks still refused to stay down so Castle hit one more belly to belly and went for the pin. This time Starks was too out of it to effectively kick out and Dalton Castle is moving on.
Top Prospect Tournament Round 1 Zack Sabre Jr. vs Andy Dalton This was a great match. Both men went back and forth with each other, trying to get the win. Multiple finishers were used by both competitors, but neither would stay down long enough for the count. Finally Sabre got the advantage and went on a ground and pound tear. Dalton had no response especially when Sabre went to work on the arms. 15 minutes later and with Daltons arm hanging at his side, Sabre went in for the kill. He floated over Dalton and locked in a CROSS ARMBREAKER. Dalton was screaming in pain and finally had to tap for fear of injury.
The music of the HOT hits and out come Truth Martini followed by Jay Lethal and The Age of The Fall. Everybody is all smiles as they ignore the major boos being rained down on them. TM: "Hahaha, Border Wars was a great show for me and my House! Not only did Jay Lethal retain his TV Title, but we gained the Tag Team Champions as well! Dont think for one second though that I am finished. I am still on the lookout for one more member of the house. The Top Prospect Tournament is the perfect fit. Just like I did with Matt Taven, one man from this tournament will be the new Prince of the HOT hahahaha!" TB: "Now of course people have been asking us, why we joined up with Truth and Jay. We are already on top being Tag Team Champions for a year now, what could Truth offer that we dont already have?" JJ: "Truth offered us a home, and extra guidance that we didnt think we needed. Now we are full fledged members of the House and will remain Tag Team Champions for a very long time." TB: "Speaking of being champions, we have decided who our opponents will be for next week. Jimmy and I will defend out Titles against....STEENERICO! That had better satisfy you Nigel!" JL: "Ahh ACH, you took me to my limit last week, but once again I proved why I am the greatest TV Champion of all time! There is nobody out there that can defeat me for my title. So with that in mind, I decided to defend my title next week against...Mike Mondo!" TM: "My House will continue to reign supreme for ever!"
reDRagon vs Bad Influence Yet another quick match. reDRagon were out to prove something and they took it out on Daniels and Kaz. Fish started off with Daniels and right away Fish hit an elbow strike followed by a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. With Daniels down Fish made the tag to O'Reilly. Together they hit Daniels with CHASING THE DRAGON and while Fish cut Kaz off Kyle made the cover and got the quick win.
The music of Michael Elgin hits now and he comes to the ring. He is still in a foul mood and ignores all the fans as he climbs into the ring. ME: "Last week proved nothing! Danielson we settled nothing last week, and I still want to get my hands on you again so I am offering you one more shot at me at Best in The World! This time though I want it to be No Countout, No DQ, and I will await your answer. Next week is a different story. I have plowed through alot of people, but since I am forced to defend the World Title against a worthy opponent, I have decided to let CM Punk have a crack at me. Be prepared for death next week Punk, it will be glorious!"
Rhino vs Austin Aries Aries was on the comeback trail tonight. What happened was he was a man on a mission and Rhino was the rock in his way. They battled each other back and forth for the majority of the match until Aries got a second wind and started taking it to Rhino. The man beast had nothing to offer as A Double just laid into him with everything he had. Rhino did manage to get a shoulder up after a second BRAINBUSTER, but that just inspired Aries to climb to the top and nail Rhino with a perfect frog splash to finally pick up the win.
We will see you next week for more Top Prospect action and Championship night!
