Card 1 – ACE Pro Wrestling @ Glens Falls Civic Center, Glens Falls, New York – “Introductions are Not Necessary!”
Motor City Madmen (Jimmy Jacobs & Rhino) w/Truth Martini v. C & C Wrestle Factory (Cedric Alexander & Caprice Coleman)
Martini is out and cuts a promo hyping the new House of Truth and introduces his newest tag team, the Motor City Madmen. Alexander trades moves with Jacobs early on and downs the Zombie Princess with a springboard clothesline for a 1 count (R8/P4). Colemen keeps the pressure on Jacobs until the action goes to the floor and Jacobs gets the upper hand. Rhino is in and quickly ends it with a GORE! on Coleman (R5/P7).
Steve Corino v. Homicide
Great ovation for Homicide from the New York fans. Corino gets the early advantage and drops Homicide with foreign object. Homicide does unreal colour. There is prolonged brawl on the floor and Homicide comes out on top. Homicide hits an Ace Crusher and then lands the DA GRINGO KILLER for a 1 count only (R12/P5). Corino looks dazed and Homicide attacks with another Ace Crusher followed by a wicked lariat for the three count (R3/P4).
Mike Bennett w/Brutal Bob & Maria v. Mike Mondo
Huge heat for Bennett as he makes out with Maria in the middle of the ring. The match goes back and forth from the outset as the action goes in and out of the ring. The fans are really into this one. Bennett wins a brawl on the floor and takes the bout back inside. PHOTO FINISH for a 1 count (R11/P4). Bennett whips Mondo in the guardrails and then finishes him off with a BOX OFFICE SMASH (R3/P5).
Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) v. Garden State Express (Rhett Titus & Jay Lethal)
The Bucks are able to gain the early advantage against Titus until Nick Jackson misses a 450 SPLASH and Lethal tags in. Matt Jackson and Jay Lethal thrill the fans with their counters. Jackson avoids a charge to the corner and rolls up Lethal for a near fall (R5/P2). The action continues to go back and forth with both teams making key tags. Titus downs Nick Jackson with a scoop slam and follows with a superkick for a 1 count (R8/P3). Titus works over Jackson outside before Lethal scores with Hail to the King followed by a springboard DDT for a 2 count (R7/P4). The Bucks get Lethal in trouble and work him over with impressive double teaming building great heat. Titus finally gets the hot tag and takes out Nick Jackson with a Thrust Buster followed by a MUFF DRIVER. Lethal blocks Matt Jackson but Nick Jackson kicks out of the cover (R9/P6). Sex Factor and Lethal tags in for a LETHAL INJECTION. Matt Jackson is in and Lethal executes a noggin knocker. Lethal hooks the leg for the three count (R7/P7).
Tim Donst v. Delirious v. Tommaso Ciampa v. Michael Elgin
The fans do not quite know what to think about Donst and his full on Olympic gear. Delirious takes a pounding early on from both Ciampa and then Elgin. Donst is in against Elgin and hits a rolling gut wrench suplex for a 1 count (R10/P3). The action goes outside where Elgin & Donst trade blows. Donst mistakenly takes out the official with an elbow and earns a disqualification. Ciampa tries to take advantage of the situation and attacks Elgin when he regains the ring. Elgin catches Ciampa on the top of the corner and tosses him to the mat. Outside, Elgin crushes Ciampa with a suplex into a side slam on the floor! The fans are chanting and Ciampa barely crawls back in. It is all Elgin in the ring but Ciampa is able to bail to the floor. Elgin comes out after him and Ciampa regains control. Delirious is tagged in and he immediately hits a BIZZARO DRIVER on Elgin for a 1 count (R8/P5). Delirious follows with a PRAYING MANTIS BOMB but Elgin powers out of the cover (R7/P5). It is all Delirious including shadows over hell and Chemical Imbalance. Elgin bails and Delirious follows. Elgin shows his power and battering rams Delirious into the ring post. The referee makes the second disqualification call of the night and the fans are not pleased that Elgin is gone. Ciampa capitalizes again with a perfect deathjump cross body on Delirious for a 2 count (R6/P3). With the fans backing him, Delirious comes back and hits a Panic Attack. The action goes to the floor again and this time Ciampa runs Delirious head first into the guardrails. The bells sounds and all three falls have a disqualification finish. Delirious survives but is down and out on the arena floor. Ciampa tosses him back inside and hit PROJECT CIAMPA drawing great heat.
Adam Cole v. Kyle O’Reilly
The bitterness between the former tag team partners is obvious from the outset. O’Reilly looks very impressive early on forcing Cole to the floor with an ankle lock and then locking in a GUILLOTINE CHOKE forcing Cole to the ropes (R6/P3). O’Reilly goes back to the GUILLOTINE CHOKE but again Cole is able to grab the ropes (R6/P4). It is all O’Reilly including a pair of vicious dropkicks to a seated Cole. Cole makes a comeback with a series of German suplexs and kicks. O’Reilly counters a running knee with an ankle lock but again Cole is able to grab the ropes to stay alive (R9/P6). Cole slumps to the floor after a dropkick to seated opponent from O’Reilly. Cole crawls back in and O’Reilly hits a near perfect cross body block for a 2 ½ count (R8/P7). O’Reilly locks in the GUILLOTINE CHOKE for the win (R7/P8). Impressive performance by O’Reilly.
Briscoe Brothers (Mark and Jay Briscoe) v. Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas)
The fans are braced for impact. We get some Red Neck Kung-Fu from Mark Briscoe early on that leads to a near fall on Haas (R11/P3). The Briscoes attack Haas with a DOUBLE FOOTBALL TACKLE for a 2 count (R9/P6). Jay Briscoe connects with a JAY DRILLER and Benjamin makes the save. Jay Briscoe punishes Haas with a death valley driver and a somersault plancha that leads to another near fall (R9/P6). Mark Briscoe keeps the pressure on before the Briscoe connect with a double team flapjack on Haas. Jay blocks Benjamin and Mark hooks the leg for the three count (R5/P7). Benjamin never tags into the bout!
Kevin Steen v. El Generico
There is long history between these two both as tag team partners and mortal enemies. Great intensity to start this one off as the momentum goes back and forth. Steen gets a great reaction after a powerbomb onto the ring apron. Another one a few minutes later and the fans become unglued. It is all Steen until Generico is able to reverse a whip into the ring post and Steen eats the steel. A bloody Steen struggles out of a BRAINBUSTAAAHHH and then regains control with some punches. Steen plants Generico with an F-CINQ for the three count (R6/P6).
Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini v. Davey Richards v. Eddie Edwards
Interesting dynamic in this one with Richards having teamed with both Strong and Edwards in the past. Strong is impressive early on battling both Richards and Edwards. Strong clocks Edwards across the back with a chair shot at ringside and Truth is leaping with joy. Edwards is able to drag Strong to the floor moments later and whips him into the ring post shoulder first. Edwards clotheslines Richards in the corner and then connects with DIE HARD on Strong for a 2 count (R6/P4). Strong bails from the ring to break an Achilies Lock and then trips up Edwards from ringside and drags him to the floor. Edwards goes into the post. Strong hits a full nelson backbreaker on Richards who has sold most of the bout and then runs Edwards into the ring rails busting him open. Strong with a SICK KICK on Edwards for a 1 count (R6/P2). Strong goes for a STRONG HOLD but Richards breaks up the hold. Richards with a double knee backbreaker on Strong while Edwards rolls to the floor. Suicide dive onto Edwards by Richards but Edwards catches Richards and runs him into the ring post. The fans explode! Back in the ring, Edwards connects with a chin checker on Strong followed by a tiger suplex. Edwards covers but Strong is out at 2 (R9/P3). DIE HARD. Richards breaks up the cover. Strong bails and Richards goes after Edwards with a shoulder tackle off the ropes. Suicide dive onto Strong and Martini by Richards and the fans are roaring again. Back inside, Richards attacks with multiple suplexes on his former partner. Richards hooks the leg. 1, 2, Strong is still dazed at ringside, 3. Davey Richards is your winner. The fans are chanting as all three men struggle to regain their feet. Edwards grabs the mic and challenges both Richards and Strong to a Round Robin Tournament next card. Richards and Strong both agree but Martini does not seem so pleased with the idea.
