Very impressive showings on the night from Mike Bennett, Homicide, the Garden State Express and Delirious. I can understand why Mark and Jay Briscoe were so upset about not getting booked and I loved how they interjected themselves into the C & C Wrestle Factory v. World's Greatest Tag Team match!
I'm looking forward to the upcoming ACE Pro Wrestling Title Tournament. Very difficult to predict who will emerge as the first ever Champion! This promotion is heating up nicely, bookerbill; great work.

Card 4 – ACE Pro Wrestling @ Glens Falls Civic Center, Glens Falls, New York – “Road to the Title”
ACE Pro Wrestling Title Tournament – Round One
Davey Richards v. Steve Corino Both these competitors know something about winning titles. Richards is the clear aggressor early on. Corino eats the rails and does colour. A deathjump clothesline rocks the King of Old School and kicked to death sends Corino to the floor. Corino manages to win a brawl at ringside but cannot get the win after an OLD SCHOOL LARIAT (R8/P1). Richards counters a deathjump by tosses him opponent to the floor. Kicked to death and an Alarm Clock batter Corino who once again wins a brawl on the floor. Corino connects with an OLD SCHOOL SUPLEX for a 1 count (R9/P2) followed by an OLD SCHOOL LARIAT but Richards kicks out after that as well (R7/P3). Corino blast Richards with a foreign object and The American Wolf crumbles to ringside. Both men are now busted open. Richards snaps during a brawl on the floor and traps Corino in an ANKLE LOCK refusing to release hold. The referee calls for the disqualification and Richards is out of the running for the gold! Huge upset to open the action tonight.
Delirious v. Tommaso Ciampa Last card these two battled in an ACE Street Fight and as luck with have it, they drew each other in the opening round of the tournament. Ciampa was looking for some payback against Delirious but he struggles to get something going early on. Ciampa turns things around with a sudden 1 count after a rush opponent (R10/P3) that catches Delirious off guard. Things even out with both men having moments on offense. Ciampa gets a 1 count off a twisting neckbreaker (R7/P4). There is a great spot where Delirious dives onto Ciampa on the floor the fans love it. Delirious gets his first near fall with a deathjump cross body block (R8/P3). Ciampa assaults Delirious on the floor with a chair shot across the back. Ciampa goes for a deathjump but Delirious counters with a boot to the chin and immediately follows up with a BIZZARO DRIVER. 1, 2, kick out (R7/P6). The action spills to the floor and both men tear up ringside. The referee has no choice but to disqualify both men. The brawl continues until security arrives to pull Delirious and Ciampa apart.
Homicide v. Jimmy Jacobs w/Truth Martini The fans were braced for an all-out war between these two. Very little classic wrestling on display here. Jacobs gets the advantage early on and quickly tries to end it with THE END OF TIME without success (R7/P1). Homicide eats the steel rails and is busted open. Later, Homicide wins a brawl on the floor and gets the fans on their feet with a piledriver on the apron. Homicide breaks out the fork and Jacobs is soon wearing the crimson mask. The fight continues to spill in and out of the ring with both men losing a lot of blood. Jacobs runs Homicide head first into the ring post and finally the referee has seen enough and calls for the disqualification. Suddenly Rhino hits the ring and it is a two on one beat down on Homicide. Martini and Jacobs set up a table against the guardrail and Rhino Gores Homicide right through it! Homicide needs medical assistance in order to leave ringside. The Motor City Madman have sent a strong message to the roster of ACE Pro Wrestling.
Adam Cole v. Kyle O’Reilly There has been a lot of intensity in the series of bouts between these former tag team partners. Cole is looking for some payback from the last card where he took a beating at ringside from O’Reilly in an disqualification win. He traps O’Reilly in the ropes early and connects with a series of elbows that look very stiff. FLORIDA KEY but O’Reilly kicks out of the cover (R7/P5). O’Reilly is able to counter a running knee and hits a brainbuster that looks impressive but Cole will not be denied tonight regaining control and putting O’Reilly down for three with a spinning neckbreaker (ch) (R5/P5). O’Reilly complains that he actually kicked out but the decision stands and Cole advances. Mike Bennett w/Brutal Bob & Maria v. Eddie Edwards The fans are all over Bennett, Maria and Bob as they make their way to the ring. Bennett and Maria make out drawing a fantastic reaction from the fans. It is all Edwards early on until Bennett is able to counter a deathjump with a boot to the face. BOX OFFICE SMASH but Edwards kicks out of the cover (R7/P2). Bennett tosses Edwards to the floor and works him over at ringside including a back suplex that leads to a near count out (R9/P3). Bennett is in control until Edwards counters a deathjump with a boot to the face of his own. DIE HARD for a 1 count (R10/P4). Bennett regains control during a brawl on the floor and then connects with a Prodigy Piledriver. Deathjump cross body block. Referee bump! The official quickly recovers and then calls the for the bell. The ruling is a double disqualification and the fans are stunned. Eddie Edwards is out of the title race!
Mike Mondo v. Michael Elgin A handshake gets the action started and the fans show their appreciation. Close action to start with neither man giving an inch. Elgin steps up his attack with a charging lariat out of nowhere for a 1 count (R9/P4). SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB. The fans count with the referee but Mondo gets the shoulder up at 2 (R9/P7). Elgin keeps coming with a suplex into side slam. 1, 2, kick out (R8/P6). It is a power display from Elgin as he batters Mondo from corner to corner. Back to back charging lariats leave Mondo in a heap before Elgin finishes it with a second SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB (R7/P9).
Tim Donst v. Kevin Steen There is an interesting atmosphere at ringside for this one as many fans have come to see Steen compete. Steen is all over Donst from the opening bell. A sleeperhold suplex spills Donst to the floor. Steen comes outside and arms himself with a chair. Donst manages to wrestle the chair away and clocks Steen earning a quick disqualification. Donst is not happy but Steen has a wicked grin on his face as he backs his way from ringside.
El Generico v. Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini The Ole chant is alive and well in Glenn Falls. Generico draws on the fans support and gets a quick start including a suicide dive to the floor that takes out both Martinin and Strong. The fans eat it up. Exploder suplex into the turnbuckle gets Generico a 2 count (R5/P2). Generico follows with a corkscrew moonsault for another near fall (R5/P3). Strong is able to counter an attempted figure four leglock (ch) and stuns Generico with a half nelson backbreaker. Outside, both men brawl around the ring. Generico gets the best of Strong and takes the match back inside. BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!!. Martini distracts the referee! Strong nearly steals the win with a roll up in the corner after avoiding Generico’s corner splash (R9/P2). Strong mounts the corner and leaps for a deathjump but is too slow. Generico rolls clear and Strong crashes to the mat. 1, 2, Martini attacks Generico. A Yakuza Kick sends Martini back to the floor. It is all Generico now and the fans can feel the end coming. Generico plants Strong with a SPIKE BRAINBUSTER in the center of the ring. Strong kicks out at 2 ½ (R8/P6). Generico mounts the corner for a perfect cross body block deathjump. 1, 2, 3 (R6/P7). Sara Del Rey v. Dazee Haze We get a great Queen of Wrestling chant to start this one off. Del Rey’s power rules the early action but Haze hangs in and is able to score with a Daizeecarana followed by a MIND TRIP for a 1 count (R8/P3). Haze is now the aggressor with a speed attack that Del Rey cannot counter. Del Rey misses a charge to the corner and Haze rolls her up for a 2 count (R5/P3). A missile dropkick is on target but Haze deathjumps straight into Del Rey’s boot. ROYAL BUTTERFLY for 1 (R9/P4). Del Rey flips off the apron onto Haze at ringside the fans love it. ROYAL BUTTERFLY for a 2 count (R8/P5). Haze get the best of Del Rey on the floor but the advantage is short lived. A release German suplex sets up another ROYAL BUTTERFLY. 1, 2, kick out (R8/P6). Del Rey is clearly frustrated and the fans are on their feet. It is back and forth now with Haze once again picking up the pace. Del Rey power back including back to back powerbombs that rock the fans. A release German suplex leads to another 2 ½ count for Del Rey (R8/P7). Spike Piledriver sets up another ROYAL BUTTERFLY. The referee counts to three (R4/P8).
The World’s Greatest Tag Team come to the ring and cut a promo declaring them to be the top team in ACE Pro Wrestling. The Briscoe Brothers arrive and brawl with Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. The Young Bucks arrive to brawl with the Briscoe Brothers followed by The Garden State Express and C & C Wrestle Connection. Security arrives to break things up.
It is announced that Homicide has not been cleared medically to compete in his second round bout against Adam Cole and Cole gets a bye.
El Generico v. Kevin Steen One more from one of the greatest feuds in independent wrestling. Steen dominates the action from the outset. El Generico does manage to bust open Steen at ringside and the fans respond. A series of powerbombs on the apron rocks the fans. Generico counters a deathjump with a toss to the mat and then connects with a SPIKE BRAINBUSTER for a 2 count (R5/P2). Twice Kevin Steen manages to avoid a BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!!! and takes a dive to the floor before the action ends up outside the ring again where a bloody Steen runs Generico into the ring post and is disqualified.
