Ring of Honor League Year 1: Starting in October of Chikara League Year 2

Coming this month the Era of Honor begins. Ring of Honor Wrestling is holding 4 huge TV Tapings around North America. Each will feature a 4 Man Round Robin Tournament. The winners of those four Tournaments will go on to our first Pay-Per-View event, Survival of the Fittest, and compete in a fifth Round Robin Tournament to name our first Ring of Honor World Champion!

Also we will hold a single elimination 4 Team tournament for the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship throughout the month. The finals will also be at Survival of the Fittest!

Card 1: Live Event, Tampa, Florida (October, Week 1)

Rhino w/ Truth Martini vs. Kyle O'Reilly: Kyle got no offense as Rhino used a piledriver on the floor and then a GORE to take the quick win!

Eddie Edwards vs. Jay Lethal: Both men shake hands before the match. Edwards dominated and Quickly won with DIE HARD!

Rhino w/ Truth Martini vs. Jay Lethal (1): Lethal kicked out of a GORE but immediately was cut in half by a second GORE and Rhino got the win!

Eddie Edwards vs. Kyle O'Reilly (2): A great match. O'Reilly accidently knocked down the referree and Edwards destroyed him while the ref was down. But when the ref woke up Edwards couldn't keep Kyle down, and O'Reilly rebounded with a series of big moves and an eventual GUILLOTINE CHOKE for the win!

Kyle O'Reilly (5) vs. Jay Lethal (3): Letha comes up winless as O'Reilly dominated and got the win with a flying dropkick.

Tag Team Match
Wrestling Greatest Tag Team vs. C&C Wrestle Factory: Cedric loses his cool and comes in to make the save after a LEAP OF FAITH ON Coleman. He clears the ring and C&C double-team Benjamin. Alexander is eventually disqualified for not leaving the ring in 5. Haas and Benjamin advance to the finals of the Tournament!

Maine Event
Eddie Edwards (5) vs. Rhino w/ Truth Martini: Rhino has had two easy matches and Edwards is beat up after his match with O'Reilly. Regardless, Edwards brought it and tried his best to keep Rhino down. After both men were knocked down for a period from a double clothesline Rhino recovered first and hit the GORE for the win. Rhino advances to Survival of the Fittest. Kevin Kelly is entering the ring to talk with Rhino.

Kelly: Truth Martini, a big win for your man here tonight.

Martini: My only regret is I don't have a man in each block to make it an all House of Truth Finals at Survival of the Fittest.

Kelly: Rhino, what do you have to say?

Rhino: Grrrrr!

Martini: That's OK. Rhino does his talking in the ring. At Survival of the Fittest this is the man to beat.

Card 2: Ring of Honor Wrestling, Chicago, Illinois (October, Week, 2)

Adam Cole vs. Tomasso Ciampa: Ciampa dominated with knee strikes and used a second PROJECT CIAMPA for the win!

Davey Richards vs. Michael Elgin w/ Truth Martini: Martini's man, Rhino, kept Richards' partner Edwards out of the Tournament. Can Elgin eliminate the American Wolf? Richards came back after being thrown to the floor and used a multiple suplex assault to get the win!

Adam Cole (6) vs. Michael Elgin w/ Truth Martini (2): Cole came into the match exhausted form his earlier match. Elgin used several Deadlift Powerbombs and then a SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB for an easy win.

Tomasso Ciampa vs. Michael Elgin w/ Truth Martini (2): Elgin looked good in his third straight match but Ciampa surprised him with a twisting neckbreaker for the win.

Davey Richards (1) vs. Adam Cole (8): Cole tried valiantly but Richards surprised him with a sunset flip and got the pinfall!

Special Chikara Match
Jigsaw vs. Johnny Gargano: This mach is brought to you by Chikara Pro and will be officiated by their senior referee Bryce Remsburg. The match will not be reflected in ROH Rankings. A great high flying match. After Remsburg was knocked down the two put on a clinic. Bryce woke up just in time to see Jigsaw hit a JIG 'N' TONIC and count the three!

Main Event
Davey Richards (1) vs. Tomasso Ciampa: Ciampa dominated the match and hit PROJECT CIAMPA for a near fall! Richards came back quickly and got the win with an ANKLE LOCK! Richards wins his block and advances to the PPV. Kevin Kelly is headed to the ring for an interview.

Kelly: Davey Richards, phenomenal performance tonight. Congratulations. How do you feel your chances are... Jim Cornette is joining us.

Cornette (out of breath): This man, Davey Richards, is the model for what a wrestler should be. As far as I'm concerned you're looking at the man Ring of Honor would like to see as it's Champion!

Kelly: What about it, Davey?

Richards: Well, I appreciate the vote of confidence from Jim Cornette. However Rhino is a tough competitor. And there's some great talent out there yet to compete like Roderick Strong. Even some of the guys who are already out are going to be forces to reckon with. Tomasso Ciampa just gave me a hell of a match. I'll do my best, but it's too early to tell.

Kelly: Very humble, Davey Richards is going to Survival of the Fittest.

Card 3: Ring of Honor Wrestling, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (October, Week, 3)

Roderick Strong w/ Truth Martini vs. Mike Mondo: Strong steamrolled Mondo and won after a SICK KICK!

Homicide vs. Steve Corino: Homicide quickly won with a piledriver on the ring apron.

Mike Mondo (1) vs. Homicide: Homicide used a fork and a GRINGO KILLER to easy beat Mondo.

Roderick Strong w/ Truth Martini vs. Steve Corino (1): Corino dominated and strung his finishers together for a big win after an OLD SCHOOL LARIAT!

Mike Mondo (3) vs. Steve Corino (1): Corino dominated the match but was disqualified for using a foreign object.

Tag Team Match
The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Young Bucks: The Briscoes isolated Matt and destroyed him with double team moves before Jay hit the JAY DRILLER for the win!

Main Event
Homicide vs. Roderick Strong (4) w/ Truth Martini: Homicide could sweep this thing. Homicide dominated and won with DA GRINGO KILLER! Kevin Kelly is headed to the ring.

Kelly: Homicide, a great performance here tonight. You are going to Survival of the Fittest.

Homicide: Viva la raza and Brooklyn represent. Davey and Rhino, you gotta go through this to get to the belt. You're looking at the first ROH World Champion!

Card 4: Ring of Honor Wrestling, Toronto, Ontario (October, Week, 4)

Our last show before Survival of the Fittest and tonight we will know who will be at that event. Davey Richards, Rhino, and Homicide have all already qualified, each sweeping their block. A lot of up and comers in this block, but also “Wrestling's Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen!

Rhett Titus vs. Mike Bennett w/ Maria: Bennett totally dominated, partly due to a Maria distraction. Titus kicked out of the PHOTO FINISH twice but fell to a superplex!

Kevin Steen vs. Cedric Alexander: Steen was furious when Alexander kicked out of the PACKAGE PILEDRIVER! A second PACKAGE PILEDRIVER would keep Cedric down!

Cedric Alexander (3) vs. Rhett Titus (4): Titus weathered the storm and won with a MUFF DRIVER!

Kevin Steen (1) vs. Mike Bennett w/ Brutal Bob: Bennett sent Maria back to the locker room after getting one look at Steen. Brutal Bob will be his second for this match. Bennett amazed everyone by also kicking out of the first PACKAGE PILEDRIVER, but like Alexander fell to the second!

Mike Bennett (3) w/ Maria & Brutal Bob vs. Cedric Alexander (4): Alexander would not stay down but finally fell to the second BOX OFFICE SMASH!

Inter-Promotional Tag Team Match
Team 3.0 vs. SCUM: Team 3.0 are joining us from Chikara. This match will be for the ROH rankings. Jacobs used a RAILROAD SPIKE behind the ref's back and pinned Matthews before any tags were made.

Main Event
Kevin Steen (1) vs. Rhett Titus (4): Titus scores a huge upset with a second MUFF DRIVER! Titus, Steen, and Bennett all have 2 wins. We have no clear winner? What do we do? Here comes Jim Cornette!

Cornette: We have to have an winner, and the easiest way to do that is to have a good old fashioned 3 way match. Get Bennett out here and ring the bell!

Second Main Event
Kevin Steen (4) vs. Rhett Titus ((4) vs. Mike Bennett (4) w/ Brutal Bob: All out mayhem. Titus quickly hits a superkick on Bennett to get the win. Steen is furious, and security is separating all three men! No post match interview tonight, folks, we'll see you at Survival of the Fittest!

Card 5: Survival of the Fittest, New York, New York (October, Week, 4)

Jimmy Jacobs vs. Colt Cabana: Cabana dominated the early going but Jacobs came back and won with THE END OF TIME!

Rhett Titus vs. Rhino w/ Truth Martini: Rhino won a slow match with the GORE!

Davey Richards vs. Homicide: Homicide gets his first loss by DQ after repeatedly using a fork. Richards looks like the loser though, and had to be helped from the ring.

Homicide vs. Rhino (2) w/ Truth Martini: Homicide used a GRINGO KILLER to get a surprisingly fast win over the previously undefeated Rhino!

Davey Richards (7) vs. Rhett Titus (2): Titus gets a win with a MUFF DRIVER on the already injured Richards.

Homicide vs. Rhett Titus (2): Homicide gets a quick win after an Ace Crusher!

World Tag Team Championship Match
Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team vs. The Briscoe Brothers: Jay was isolated and Benjamin pinned him after a LEAP OF FAITH. Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team get a surprisingly fast and easy win to become the first ROH World Tag Team Champions!

Main Event
Davey Richards (8) vs. Rhino (3) w/ Truth Martini: If Davey Richards wins Homicide will be Champion. If Rhino wins he and Homicide will face each other in a tie breaker match. Homicide might be regretting having injured Richards at this point. Rhino immediately hits the GORE for the win and we are going into overtime, so to speak. Rhino paces the ring impatiently as Homicide is introduced.

Second Main Event: Final Match for The World Championship
Homicide vs. Rhino (3) w/ Truth Martini: Rhino dominated the whole match and got a near fall to the GORE! Homicide hit a surprise lariat and won the match! Homicide is your World Champion!
