Name: Vipers2k9 Ring of Honor Basis of Promotion: Basically mixing some of old parts of ROH with the new ROH. I am using the start date of the real promotion to kick things off. Both singles championships will be crowned in round robin tournaments with only the tag team championships being crowned in a one night tournament. Shows will be every two weeks (Friday and Saturday) with some of those shows being Television broadcasts and some being just DVD's. Next post will talk about the first card of the promotion.

ROH "Round Robin Challenge" Weekend Dearborn Preforming Arts Center February 22nd, 2002 "Live Results"
Start of the show sees ROH Matchmaker Nigel Mcguinness come out and welcome the fans to the new promotion. Talks about the tournament to crown the first champions and says the event is being taped for DVD sales.
Opening Contest ROH World Championship - Round Robin Match Tommaso Ciampa def. Michael Elgin via Running Knee Strike. Elgin hit a dive to outside early in the match but Ciampa recovered from it to hit three running knee strikes in a row to win the match.
ROH Television Championship - Round Robin Match Mike Bennett def. Rhett Titus via Box Office Smash Both men got a close pin with in the first minute of the match. Titus came very close near the end but Bennett hits the smash to win the match.
Tag Team Action WGTT def. C&C Wrestle Factory when Benjamin hit Alexander with Paydirt. This match got a "This is Awesome" chant from the crowd as the early part of the match was dominated by WGTT but out of no where Coleman & Alexander surge back and almost beat WGTT on numerous pinfalls. but Benjamin was finally able to hit Paydirt for the win.
ROH Television Championship - Round Robin Match El Generico def. Mike Mondo via BrainBustaaahhh! Mondo took most of the match to the outside of the ring to keep Generico off balance for most of the match. Once back in the ring though, Generico was able to turn the tables and nail the BrainBustaaahhh! to win the match.
ROH World Championship - Round Robin Match Roderick Strong def. Eddie Edwards via Strong Hold. Another great back and forth contest that saw Strong take the beginning of the match before Edwards took over and hit DIE HARD twice but Strong survived enough to hit the Sick Kick and Stong hold for the win.
Show is at intermission right now.
