I noticed something peculiar about my Briscoe brothers cards and wonder if this is typical, or if mine are a one-off sort of deal. The cards for both Mark and Jay are 1/8" shorter and 1/16" narrower than the rest of the properly sized 5.5" x 4.25" cards. Does anyone else have Briscoe cards cut like that?
By the way, this is the only difference between the cards in the ROH set and the special edition Briscoe cards that were released separately earlier this year. There are no changes in stats, logos, colors, or anything else to differentiate them. If you have or plan on getting the ROH set there is no reason to buy the Briscoe cards by themselves because they are identical to the ones in the full set. I know that is written in the product description for those cards at the online store, but it cannot be stressed enough.
(I'd prefer this not become a discussion about the second paragraph above, as I really just want an answer about the question of the card size)

I noticed the same thing about my Briscoe brothers cards as well so that would lead me to believe that it is typical. I think the Briscoe's cards are a bit shorter because they came out prior to the release of the ROH set. so they were origonally seperate cards that were included in the ROH set when it was released.
Hope that puts your worries to rest MT!

That seems really odd to me but whatever there isn't much of a difference so I can deal with it. I still can't get over how awesome the set is!
I also don't want to spend money just to get two cards that I already have if there is only that slight difference.

I keep mine in protective plastic sleeves so I didn't notice a difference.

It seems from these answers that all of the Briscoe cards may be slightly smaller than the rest of the cards. I am curious as to the reason for that.
