The opening match will see last year's winner AR Fox face off against Rich Swann, Nick Jackson and Chuck Taylor.


Match #2 will see Caleb Konley, Shynron Nick Madrid and and Matt Jackson face off.


Match #3: El Generico, Ophidian, Fire Ant and Frightmare


The fourth and final match: Ricochet, Marshe Rockett, ACH and Scorpio Sky


The winner of these matches will face off in the finals to crown the King Of Flight

Swann and Fox caught Jackson napping with dual kicks and sent him flying out of the ring. Swann ran the ropes and hit a plancha on Jackson for the first elimination. 

Nick Jackson is eliminated 

Taylor locked in the Cross Crab on Swann. Swann missed a 5 Star Swann Splash. Taylor threw Swann out of the ring and hit a Somersault Plancha on Swann 

Rich Swann is eliminated 

Fox and Taylor went back and forth. Taylor fell victim to a Krunch. Fox climbed to the top and came down with a frog splash for the win.

Jackson hit super kicks on Konley and Shynron. While Jackson was showboating, Madrid scaled up the ring post and hit Jackson with a missile drop kick. 

Matt Jackson is eliminated 

Konley hit a satalite head scissors that sent Madrid to the floor. Konley ran the ropes and hit a plancha to the floor. 

Nick Madrid is eliminated 

Shynron hit the Spirit Crusher on Konley. He went up top when Ophidian came out. The two were jawwing back and forth. This allowed Konley to recover. Konley hit a top rope splash on Shynron to win. 

Winner: Caleb Konley

Generico hit a exploder suplex into the turnbuckle on Frightmare. Generico pulled Frightmare into position to hit a corkscrew moonsault. 

Frightmare is eliminated 

Generico tried for a dive on Fire Ant, but Ant moved and sent Generico crashing into the guard rail. Fire Ant got back in the ring and scale up the ring post. Fire Ant went soaring with a cross body to the floor. 

El Generico is eliminated 

Ophidian actually wore Fire Ant with submission moves. Once Fire Ant was down enough, Ophidian climbed up to the top of the ring post. Ophidian hit the Snake Bite Flying Knee Strike on Fire Ant for the win. 

Winner: Ophidian 

Ophidian slithered out of the ring. "I'm coming for you Fox, Oh Yesssss" was heard from Ophidian.

Ricochet came out with his E.P.W Jr Weight Title. 

Rockett hit a big Yakuza Kick on ACH when he wasn't looking. Sky jumped off the top rope with a springboard dropkick. Sky hit ACH before Rockett can follow up with his attack. 

ACH Is eliminated 

Rockett got in Sky's face. Sky responded with a shot to the jaw. Sky hit a Ace Crusher on Rockett. Rockett went to the floor. Sky bounced off the far ropes and soared with a plancha on Rockett. 

Marshe Rockett is eliminated. 

Rockett was irate that he was eliminated. He grabbed Ricochet's belt and nailed Sky with it. Ricochet just went with it and hit a Backslide Driver. Ricochet went up top and hit the Chocolate Rain Flying Knees. 

Winner: Ricochet

Dasher Hatfield (0 wins)

The Thunder Frog (0 Wins) 

Both men shook hands before the match. Thunder Frog had the early advantage, but Hatfield reversed a whip into the corner and hit a forearm smash. Hatfield went on the offensive from there on out. A flurry of offense lead to The Underhand Pitch and a roll up for three. 

Winner: Dasher Hatfield (1 win)

The Southern Gentlemen (Drew Gulak and Harlem Bravado)

It was non stop action as all four team battled in the ring. Miscommunication between Jacobs and Gulak led to Proud Oak hit the Tree Top Drop on Gulak for three. 

The Southern Gentlemen are eliminated 

Ants At Work settled the match down and isolated The Snow Troll. Green Ant locked in The Steelkara Special Green on The Snow as Proud Oak was held back on Worker Ant. 

The Baltic Siege is eliminated. 

Gerard and Jacobs attacked The Ants from behind. Gerad missed a Shootign Star Press on Worker Ant. Green Ant locked in the Good Luck Clover Leaf as Jacobs looked on at ringside. 

Winners: Ants At Work 

Jacobs degraded Gerard about losing the match. The fans encouraged the fans to hit Jacobs, but Gerard just hung his head down and walked to the back.

As Gerard and Jacobs walked to the back, Jaka and Blaster were seen fighting in the back. They made their way to the ringside. 

Blaster (0 wins)

Jaka (0 wins) 

The match was barely contained in the ring. Jaka usaed a nerve hold to wear the larger Blaster down. Blaster caught Jaka and slammed him down. Jaka survived a Sit Out Choke Slam, but could not survive a second. 

Winner: Blaster 

Blaster was not done as he continued the assault on Jaka.  Oleg came in with a chair and swung it at Blaster.

Ricochet, Konley and Ophidian came out. AR Fox came out last, holding up the King Of Flight Trophy.

Ricochet went for a 450, but ate nothing but Fox's knees. Ophidian went up and hit his Snake Bite Flying Knees Strike before Ricochet could react. 

Ricochet is eliminated 

Ophidian locked in the Death Grip on Konley. After a Egyptian Destroyer, Ophidian nailed Konley with a second Snkae Bite Flying Knee Attack. 

Caleb Konley is eliminated 

Ophidian and Fox started jawing back and forth. Each missed a top rope attempt. Fox missed a dive to the floor, allowing Ophidian to hit a Duat Driver on the floor. Ophidian sent Fox back in the ring and successfully connected with a Snake Bite Flying Knee Strike for the clean sweep. 

Winner: Ophidian 

Shynron came out as Ophidian celebrated. Shynron connected with a spring board kick on Ophidian. Ultramantis Black came out to defend his partner. Fox recovered and went after Black. Black and Ophidian were sent packing as Fox and Shynron celebrated. Ophidian grabbed his trophy and retreated to the back.

Aftershock Recap


Hello fans, welcome to the Aftershock Recap for the fifth annual King Of Flight Tournament.


Sixteen of the most agile wrestler in wrestling took to the sky for aerial dominance.  When the smoke cleared, Ophidian emerged and has capture his second King Of Flight Tournament win.  Ophidian will not time to relish this victory for he will have to be the hunted.  In just a few weeks Ultramantis Black and himself will be defending the Steelkara tag team titles against The Brotherhood Of The Traveling Tights.


The matches went down as following:


AR Fox, the defending champion, advances over Chuck Taylor, Nick Jackson and Rich Swann.


Caleb Konley advanced over Shynron, Matt Jackson and Nick Madrid


Ophidian advanced over Frightmare, El Generico and Fire Ant


Ricochet advanced over Scorpio Sky, Marshe Rockett and ACH

After the finals, Shynron came out and blindsided Ophidian. This was a result from Ophidian coming out and distracting Shynron a chance to advance in his first round match.




In other matches that took place:


Dasher Hatfield got win one of two over The Thunder Frog.  


Ants At Work won a Four Team Elimination Match that involved The Steel City Degenerates, The Southern Gentlemen and The Baltic Siege.  Since they eliminated two teams they will earned a Tag Team Challenge Match.  They have told Steelkara officials that they will cash in next month, but a opponent has not been announced.


Folks, join us in just a couple of weeks as we presents Beware The Green Eyes Of March.  The Steelkara Tag Team titles will be defended and new challengers will be determined

Major announcement!!!!


Steelkara's Top 5 will be going through a major overhaul.


Starting in May, The Top 5 for both The Single and Tag Team divisions will be reset and a new system will be put into effect.  


To determine the new Top 5's we will have five qualifying matches.  The winners of these matches will go on to a round robin tournament with the previous wrestlers who were in the Top 5.  The records from the tournaments will determine who will be the Top, with the winners being #1 contenders.

As The announcer was hyping up the crowd to begin the show, Oleg and Flex started fighting each other in the back. They made their way to the ringside area. They finally made their way back to the ring. The ref called for the bell. 

Oleg

Flex 

This match was not fancy as they just pounded each other to a pulp. After a few minutes in the ring, the match broke down and went to the floor. Oleg took Flex's head off with a vicious clothesline, screaming "Off With His Head" in the process. The ref was about to reach twenty before Oleg scooted in the ring. Flex did not respond.   

Winner: Oleg 

Oleg exited the ring and continued to assault Flex. Flex managed to regroup and hit a sick sounding claw slam on the floor. Both men had to be taken to the back by officials. 

The ring crew cleaned up the ring side area before the next match started.

Pinkie Sanchez 

vs 

Mr Touchdown 

Touchdown survived a early Burning Snicklefritz. Touchdown fought back to hit a springboard shouldblock. Sanchez went for a double stomp, but before he could land, Touchdown connected with a spear. Touchdown hit a pump splash for the win. 

Winner: Mr Touchdown 

As Touchdown celebrated in the ring, Dasher Hatfield could be seen watching Touchdown. He nodded in approval as Touchdown made his way to the back.

Before the next match, the announcer told the crowd that the winner of this match would be the first entrant to the round robin tournament set to start in May. 

The Bravados (Harlem and Lancelot) 

vs 

Da Soul Touchaz (Acid Jaz and Marshe Rockett) 

The Bravados isolated Rockett from his partner most of the match. Rather than trying to tag his partner in, Rockett tried to win the match himself. Rockett went for a kick in his team's partner, but Lancelot missed and Rockett hit Jaz instead. The Bravados hit the Gentleman's Approach for three. 

Winners: The Bravados 

Rockett and Jaz started arguing. Rockett blamed Jaz for making him lose. Ropckett got fed up and punched Jaz. Rockett and Jaz started fighting in the middle of the ring.

Shynron 

vs 

ACH 

Shynron got the match going with a dive to the floor early on. The match was what the fans expected from these two, High Impact, fast paced and non stop from bell to bell. Both gave their all. ACH missed a corner splash. Before ACH could recovered, Shynron hit a sunset flip for the three.

Winner: Shynron
 

Shynron helped ACH to his feet. The two shhok hands as the crowd roared. Owner Christopher J came out and spoke to both men and the fans. He told both men that he would love to see these two men compete again, which the fans agreed with wholeheartedly.  

He then talked to Shynron. He told him that next month, he would get Ophidian in a tag match. Shynron's original partner AR Fox would not be able to be here due to contract issues. (Fox signed with EPW), so Shynron would have to get a new partner. The crowd caught on and started chanting "ACH" ACH and Shynron looked at each other and agreed. They shook hands on it and the match was made official.

Delirious

Gran Akuma  

Gargano was at commentary, watching his opponent up close. Akuma put on a powerful performance in front of the champion, as he quickly took apart Delirious. Akuma hit The Yoshi Tonic and followed it up with a Tenchi Crush for three. 

Winner: Gran Akuma 

Gargano stood up at the commentary table as Akuma stared at Gargano from the ring.

Jigsaw 

vs 

Eddie Kingston 

Kingston withstood Jigsaw's early assault, even surviving a early QD I. Jigsaw missed a double stomp. Before Jigsaw could react, Kingston took Jigsaw's head off with a lariat. Kingston leveled a groggy Jigsaw with a Back Fist to The Future for three.   

Winner: Eddie Kingston

The announcer told the fans that this match would determined the last challenger for The Black Mambas based on the old Top 5 format. 

Elimination Match 

The Colony (Fire and Soldier Ant)

3.0 (Scott Parker and Shane Matthews) 

The Batiri was the first team to be eliminated after 3.0 hit their finisher, The Sweet Taste Of Professionalism, on Kodama. 

Incoherent was the next team eliminated after 3.0 was successful on hitting their finisher a second time in the match, this time on Frightmare 

The Colony isolated Parker. Parker held on , even surviving a Beach Break from Fire Ant. The Colony hit The Ants go Marching finisher on Parker. With Fire Ant blocking the Matthews from making the save, Soldier Ant made the pin. 

Winners: The Colony

The Brotherhood Of The Traveling Tights (El Generico and Colt Cabana) 

The Brotherhood started off on the offensive. Ophidian used his snkae like agility to bring the champs back in the match. Generico went for a Top Rope Brainbuster on Black. Black blocked it and turned it into a Cosmic Doom from the second rope. Ophidian locked in the Death Drip until Generico could not continue.

With Colt Cabana being in The Top 5 for both The Singles and Tag Team, Colt Cabana has announced that he will be pulling himself out of the Singles Top 5 tournament so he can focus on the Tag Team Tournament.


His partner, El Generico has also withdrawn from the singles Top 5 Tournament due to the same reason.


Therefore, we will have add three more names to the tournament.  They will be announced during the Aftershock Recap.
