Aftershock Recap


Hello Everyone, Welcome to another edition of the Aftershock Recap for Beware The Green Eyes Of March.  


Before we begin, we received word that due to Colt Cabana and El Generico pulling themselves out of the Singles Top 5 Round Robin Tournament so they can focus on the Tag Team Top 5 Round Robin Tournament, we have added three new names. One of the names is Drew Gulak.  


The other two names will be making their Steelkara debut.  Those two men are Uhaa Nation and Mikey O'Shea.  We will have the draws for the qualifier matches in just a few days.


Now, back to the recap:


The main event saw The Black Mambas retain their tag team titles against the Brotherhood Of The Traveling Tights.  The champs will be busy next month as they will be in action  on both nights next month.

Night one's opponents will be the team of ACH and Shynron.  These two put on one of the most athletic, high flying match in Steelkara history, won by Shynron.  After the match, owner Christopher J came out and told Shynron and the fans that AR Fox would not be able to be at the double shot weekend.  The fans made it clear that ACH would make a great partner for Shynron.  So the two agreed and the match will go down next month.


Night Two's opponents for the Black mambas will be the last contenders for the tag team title under the old Top 5 system.  3.0, The Colony, The Batiri and Incoherent went at it determine who will be facing the champs next month.  The Colony came out victorious.  

Gran Akuma will be challenging Johnny Gargano for the Iron Man Title.  Akuma put on a impressive showing in front of the champions, getting a big win over Delirious.


Eddie Kingston and Jigsaw once again went to battle.  The match was hard hitting and full of high impact action that left both men spent.  Kingston managed to outlast Jigsaw to get the win.


The Bravados became the first team to qualify into the Tag Team Top 5 Round Robin Tournament with a win over Da Soul Touchaz.  After the match, Da Soul Touchaz started fighting each other in the middle of the ring.


Mr Touchdown gained a victory against Pinkie Sanchez.  Dasher Hatfield was watching the match and he like what he saw.  We have word that Hatfield and Touchdown will be teaming up for next's month tournament.


A battle of two hard hitting men that plain do not like each other kicked off the show.  Oleg and Flex just went at it.  The two were on the verege of being counted out, but Oleg managed to get back in the ring before the ref finished his count.  These two men will be seeing each in the tournament.


Fans, Join us as April's Double Shot weekend will be jam packed with great action.  Night One will have Gargano facing Akuma and The Black Mambas facing ACH and Shynron as well as qualifiers for the tournaments.


Night two will see The Black Mambas facing the Colony and the other qualifiers for the tournaments.


We will have the full card right here once all the matches are finalized.

Gran Akuma will challenge Johnny Gargano for The Steelkara iron Man Title.  This will be Akuma's first title shot.  Will Gargano continue his reign, or will Akuma capture the gold?


The Black Mambas will face off against ACH and Shynron.  This is the results from the long going rivalry between Ophidian and Shynron.

Max survived a early STF by Gerard. Sanchez was destroyed by back to back Sit Out Choke Slams by Blaster. A tag to Max led to The Death Blow on Sanchez that sent The Devastation Corp. to the next round. 

Winner: Devastation Corp. 

Jacobs watched the match and was disgusted with the outcome. He degraded Gerard, forcing him to the back. Jacobs just shook his head and left Sanchez laying in the middle of the ring.

Taylro went for the early kill, nailing Green Ant with two super kicks and a Sole Food. Taylor continued the flurry of offense, leading up to a Awful Waffle for three.

The Shard

Kobald 

Both battled tooth and nail. The Shard dropped Kobald on his head with a Jig N Tonic for a close near fall. The Shard hit a series of kicks to the head of Kobald. The Shartd set the goblin up for a second Jig N Tonic. This time Kobald was not lucky to get up before the three count. 

Winner: The Shard

2 Dark Souls (Crossbones and Stigma)

Ants At Work (Worker Ant and Assail Ant) 

The ants showed off their impressive double teams moves, targeting Crossbones. Crossbones caught Worker Ant and drove him to the canvas with an exploder suplex. Crossbones hit a Sweet Frickin Driveron Worker Ant. As Crossbones stopped Assail Ant, Stigma hit the Stigmata for three. 

Winner: 2 Dark Souls

Uhaa Nation

Icarus 

The fans were in awe of the athletic ability of Nation. Nation dominated the match, but made the one mistake of going for standing Shooting Star Press. Icarus got the knees right on Nation's head and neck. While Nation was stunned, Icarus got Nation up for the Emerald Flosion. Icarus hooked the leg right after hitting the move and got the win. 

Winner: Icarus

ACH was about to start the match for his team. Ophidian entered to start when Shynron blitzed him. Black and ACH squared off as the bell was ringing. 

Shynron and ACH

The Black Mambas (Ultramantis Black and Ophidian) 

All four battled in and out of the ring. Ophidian hit Shynron with a flurry of offense as Black ACH at bay. A Duat Driver, Egyptian Destroyed, Snake Bite Knee Attack but copuld not put Shynron down. Ophidian locked in the Death Grip. Shynron tried to hold on, but eventually passed out. 

Winner: The Black Mambas 

Ophidian went for a handshake from ACH and Shynron who was being helped up by his partner. As Shynron went to accept, Ophidian pulled away and left the ring. "I have no reason to respect you" Ophidian yelled as he walked up the ramp.

Steelkara Iron Man Championship

(1) Gran Akuma 

Gargano went for a early lead with a Lawn Dart Spear. Akuma went to the top rope, but missed a moonsault attempt. Before Akuma could recover, Gargano connected with the Hurts Donut to take the first fall. 

Gargano stayed on the offensive, locking in the Crosston Crab. As Akuma made the ropes, Gargano turned it into The Gargano Escape. Akuma had to tap out, giving Gargano a two match lead. 

Desperate to get back in the match, Akuma became more agressive. Akuma went for the Yoshi Tonic, but Gargano blocked it and went right into a Hurts Donut. Gargano locked in the Gargano Escape in the middle of the ring. With nowhere to go, Akuma had to tap out, giving Gargano the sweep. 

Winner: Johnny Gargano (3-0) 

Both men struggled to get to their feet. Akuma extended his hand to Gargano, who accepted it. The two agreed that they would meet again down the road. Akuma left the ring as Gargano soaked in the cheers of the crowd.

Aftershock Recap


Hello everyone.  This is the Aftershock Recap for April Doomsday.  There was a lot of action to go over, so let's get right into it.



Here is a update of the wrestlers who are in the round robin tournaments starting in May.

There are three slots remaining in each field.  They will be decided at our next show.


Shynron and his partner ACH took on The Black Mambas in tag team action.  With a couple of years under their belts teaming together, Ophidian and Black defeated the youthful and inexperienced team.  Afterwards, Ophidian disrespected Shynron once again by not shaking his hand after the match, even going as far to say that he has no reason to respect The Spirit Dragon.  The Black Mambas will now looked to fend off the challenge of The Colony in a tag team championship match.  ACH and Shynron will look to rebound as they have qualifying matches at the next show.


In The Main Event, Johnny Gargano had his second successful defense of the Iron Man Championship against Gran Akuma in a sweep.  Many fans were amazed that Gargano dominated the way he did, as a lot of people picked the match to go five falls.  Gargano will not have a challenger until after the tournament, but he has asked to have Steelkara signed him to matches during the tournament.
