Wrestling is Honor presents
"Honor Roll" (Card #1) Du Burns Arena, Baltimore, Maryland
Nick Madrid vs. Juan Francisco de Coronado -match result- Nick Madrid gets a lot of offense, but struggles every time Juan Francisco attempts to take the brawl out to the floor. Juan Francisco goes to the well one too many times before finally getting disqualified. Winner: Nick Madrid
Saturyne vs. Daizee Haze -match result- A quick match as Daizee Haze starts out strong but Saturyne continues to show improvement in the ring as she surprises Haze with a wheelbarrow bulldog in order to get the win. The two girls shake hands and hug afterwards. Winner: Saturyne
The Young Bucks vs. Osirian Portal -match result- The Young Bucks never really get their rhythm as Nick Jackson finds himself struggling early against Amasis before falling to the OSIRIAN SACRAMENT, as Ophidian blocks Matt from making the save. Winners: Osirian Portal
Willie Mack vs. Gregory Iron -match result- Gregory Iron really takes a beating as Willie lays nine PIN tokens on Iron before pinning him with a standing dropkick. Fans really get behind Willie, but also applaud Gregory Iron as he walks back to the locker room on his own. Winner: Willie Mack
"The Prodigy" Mike Bennett vs. Sara Del Rey -match result- Short match that went back and forth. Sara Del Rey looked to get the upper hand, but distraction from Brutal Bob caused Sara Del Rey to take him out with a somersault senton, only to get clobbered with the PHOTO FINISH for Bennett to pick up the victory. Winner: "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett
Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. F.I.S.T. (Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano) -match result- A grueling battle in which Paul London and Chuck Taylor did a lion's share of the work (London ended with five PIN tokens to Taylor's astounding eight tokens). Both teams used all of their PIN saves, but in the end, Chuck Taylor could not get out of trouble as he took an ASSISTED SHOOTING STAR PRESS, followed by SLICED BREAD #2, and finally a 450 SPLASH to stay down. Winners: Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Gavin Loudspeaker: It's time.. for the MMMMMMMAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!!!
Claudio Castagnoli vs. "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin -match result- Michael Elgin dominates most of the match with the higher profile Claudio, until Claudio finally gets himself disqualified and bolts out of the building. Fans boo loudly and demand the match be restarted, but Claudio is nowhere to be found. Winner: "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin

Thanks, Vegas. You know I'm a big fan of Willie Mack, and while it isn't realistic that Chikara or its sister promotions would fly Willie Mack or Nick Madrid out to the East Coast anytime soon, in this fed I can use these guys and London & Kendrick regularly.
I think London & Kendrick have stats that work very well with the independent scene actually, as two big names that don't have very powerful stats and are about the same level as the Young Bucks. A lot of people don't like to mix black and white cards with color cards, but when I put them in the hard plastic sleeves, I can't tell the difference anyway. (As a side note, I will not use any cards for playing unless they're in hard plastic sleeves, which is easily fixed by buying more of them.
If I do a Young Lions Cup later in the year, you can bet guys like Nick Madrid and Willie Mack, and some of the NPWD guys will be participating.

Wrestling Is Honor - Event Center 2.20.13
Bryce Remsberg: Hello everybody, Bryce Remsburg here. In case you missed it, Wrestling is Honor had its very first show in the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, this past weekend, and if you missed the action you can pick up a copy of the DVD from our friends at Smart Mark Video and Smart Mark Video on Demand.
Next up, Wrestling is Honor will be traveling to nearby Laurel, Maryland to host its second show, Ring Around the Rosies. Announced for the show thus far, all three members of the Colony make their debut as Green Ant faces Willie Mack, and Fire Ant and Soldier Ant challenge Paul London and Brian Kendrick, who were victorious in the last show.
(pre-tape) Brian Kendrick: Fire Ant, Soldier Ant.. we are no strangers to the world of masked wrestling. You see, when we competed in the WWE, Paul and I wore masks too, except we weren't afraid to show our faces before the bell rang. Paul London: That's right, Brian. But the Colony is going to want to keep those masks on because when we beat them in Laurel, they're not going to want anybody to know who it is that lost to the greatest WWE tag team of the 2000s.. Paul London and Brian Kendrick.
Bryce Remsberg: Also announced for Ring Around the Rosies, Jigsaw and the Shard take on the Osirian Portal, Mike Quackenbush takes on Delirious, and in the main event, Bryan Danielson squares off against Shelton Benjamin. But before we leave you, I'd like to take you to some pre-recorded comments from the man who main evented the last show, Claudio Castagnoli.
Claudio Castagnoli: All of you lazy Americans who are waiting for those government handouts make me sick. And now you all ask me why did I bolt from my match against Michael Elgin at the first card for Wrestling is Honor? Because you American fans do not appreciate greatness when it's staring you in the face. Michael Elgin, you might be a future star of tomorrow, but I, Claudio Castagnoli, am the star of today. And I will rise, certain as the sun from the East, along with the other stars of today and take our rightful place as we show you all what Honor there is in Wrestling. Michael Elgin you want a rematch to prove you can get the job done? Hey, this is the Land of Opportunity, and you'll have the opportunity to prove that you deserve that chance.. but until then, the 'honorable' thing for you and all the rest of the peons to do is to bow and awe in the greatness of those who have rightfully earned it!
[End segment.

Wrestling is Honor presents
Ring Around a Rosies (Card #2) Gardens Ice House, Laurel, Maryland
Dasher Hatfield vs. Kobald -match result- A complete mismatch, as Kobald controls the near entirety of the match, but has trouble putting Hatfield away until a second TOP ROPE SEATED SENTON keeps Hatfield down. Winner: Kobald
*After the match, the Batiri enter the ring and commence a three-on-one beatdown and put Dasher Hatfield on the shelf. Just 'cuz.*
Juan Francisco de Coronado vs. Saturyne -match result- Saturyne looks to control the match from the outset, but Juan Francisco is better at the ropes, as he mounts a rally and submits Saturyne with the CORONADO CLUTCH. Winner: Juan Francisco de Coronado
Green Ant vs. Willie Mack -match result- A hotly contested match with the crowd behind both performers. Action goes back and forth with a high paced, high flying offense, but eventually, Green Ant snaps on the CLOVERLEAF and gets Willie Mack to tap. Winner: Green Ant
Colt Cabana vs. "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett -match result- This match electrifies the crowd, as both men put on an entertaining match. See-saw action sees both men take and lose the advantage, with Maria and Brutal Bob both getting ejected from ringside after interfering twice, but ultimately the distraction allows Bennett to put Cabana away with the PHOTO FINISH. Winner: "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett
Jigsaw & The Shard vs. The Osirian Portal -match result- All four men get involved in this affair early on, but as Ophidian weakens Jigsaw down with the Death Grip, the Shard is left to fend for himself. The Shard manages to stave off many of Ophidian's attacks, but Amasis uses a snake Charmer and the OSIRIAN SACRAMENT to score another victory for the Portal. Winners: The Osirian Portal
Mike Quackenbush vs. Delirious -match result- Delirious begins the match seemingly having Quack's number, but once the tables turn and Quackenbush gets on offense, the "Master of a Thousand Holds" shows exactly why he is known as that, and submits Delirious to the Chikara Special. Winner: Mike Quackenbush
Fire Ant & Soldier Ant vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick -match result- The match starts off slow, but Soldier Ant immediately exposes a mismatch with Paul London and pummels him with an offensive both in and out of the ring, as Brian Kendrick uses both of his PIN saves early on. Fire Ant ends the affair with the BEACH BREAK. Winners: Fire Ant & Soldier Ant
Gavin Loudspeaker: It's time, ladies and gentlemen, for the MMMMMMMAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!
Bryan Danielson vs. Shelton Benjamin -match result- Both men start conservatively to size their opponent up. Despite the feeling out process, fans begin their "This is Awesome!" chants as Danielson and Benjamin acknowledge the crowds. After some solid technical exchanges, Benjamin starts to pull ahead and looks to control the match, but Danielson then comes back and matches him move for move and evens the score. Both men absorb a lot of punishment, but in the end, Danielson catches Benjamin in a TRIANGLE CHOKE and forces Benjamin to tap. Winner: Bryan Danielson
**After the match, Claudio runs into the room and clobbers Shelton Benjamin. He hits Benjamin with several uppercuts until Bryan Danielson holds him back and asks what he is doing. Claudio attempts to attack Shelton again, but Danielson shoves Claudio off... and uppercuts Benjamin himself! The crowd boos the revelation as Gavin Loudspeaker announces the duo as the reunion of Team Uppercut, and Danielson suddenly points both fingers to the ceiling and screams "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!" as Claudio takes the microphone.
Claudio: Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you one of the shining stars of TODAY! No, I'm not talking about the washed up superstars of yesterday like that man over there, Shelton Benjamin. I'm not talking about those up and coming stars of tomorrow like Michael Elgin either. Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of TODAY's main event, I bring you DANIEL BRYAN!! Danielson: YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! Claudio: Because in AMERICA, when you have reached the pinnacle of your profession, you can gloat all you want and stick your nose up at those who aren't at the same level as you. USA! USA!
